Girl same here! I told him I can’t marry him either if he’s not stepping up financially because in the beginning of our relationship we’ve agreed that he will be the one that handles the economical expenses including marriage so he needs to step up career wise, his normal salary doesn’t cover that lifestyle up. We agreed in the beginning that he’d do it by this year but he postponed it until next year and told me he’ll need another year…

I appreciate your answer and I’m happy for you! The thing is he didn’t say he didn’t want to get married or that he was unsure of it. He talked about his economical situation and how he will need another year to fix it which made me spiral into all sort of thoughts. I am still considering everything tho.. i’ll see how ir goes

Thank you for this answer, it feels really helpful after hearing that and I actually shifted my perspective on things. When you put LDR in the beginning of the post, people automatically assume that it isn’t a serious relationship or that the man is cheating. I chose to filter these kind of responses out because I know what kind of man he is when it comes to dicipline, loyalty and seriousness and long distance is just a matter of time until you reunite.
