It is not stupid at all and it is a great termometer to see how marriage is falling apart there. In fact, divorce only started to be permited in spain in 1981, and if look for the data you will see most of the divorces there happen before 10 years of marriage. While the true "divorce rate" is not 85.5% it still is quite high, and probably very close to it in spain.

Sadly in our society men have no intrisic value, and that is a very old problem that has been amplified in the last few decades and is getting worse with social media. I don't like the guy that is been interviewed, as he has some very problematic opinions on masculinity on his channel, but here he is spot on. Despite the eventual talk about male disposability here and there, I have absolutely no ideia on how we could fix it, as things stand I have less and less desire to engage socially with ohe…

English is not my native language, those mistakes may happen because I don't use a translator or chat gpt for writting on reddit. Either way, it does not invalidate my argument or what I said about evolution and natural selection. If you think you know were I made a mistake with my knowledge about those topics you are free to write about it, because one thing I like is to debunk biology myths and misconceptions.

I don't think that was the case, but it does not matter, natural selection isn't the same as tragedy and risky behavior isn't induced by genetics only. We cannot nullify the importance of Society and our social interactions, leaving everything to genetics makes absolute no sense. While genetics play a role, it does not determinates your fate. It is also worth to point it out that evolution does not occur at individual level, but at populational level, a single individual having an accident becau…

As a biologist, neither of them is right about natural selection, this is biological determinism all over again. Not every problem is genetical, and his view is just as problematics as hers. Someone jumps off a roof, breaks all bones and ends up in a wheelchair for the rest of his life, and he calls it "natural selection"? Sorry, dumb as fuck to say it, not only you take away the responsability we have as a Society regarding the mental health of people, but we also give an argument that leads to…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
