People like that fail even their own logic. He says you were happy how you "were", so you should stay that way even if the "new" you make you even happier. People want those around them to remain how they want them to be - It's just that simple.

I've seen where a solid 50% of attractive women online make it a point to add, "if you just say hello or what's up, I won't reply." Granted, words don't mean much to women, but have you encountered this directly?

I agree completely. As important as lifting is, the mind is more-so. Think about it this way, we have all met jacked guys who were still beta males, yet I know some fatter or skinnier guys who are more alpha. While a strong mind and strong body is the perfect combo, the strong mind is the ultimate prerequisite for an alpha lifestyle.

I'm speaking from my life's experiences which includes law school and just happened to find it interesting how some theories overlapped with TRP. Nothing more, nothing less.

Of course, and I wasn't trying to say emotion doesn't play any role, just that you have to lay a foundation of logical factual conclusions before emotion can play a part. But yes, you have to pull on the emotional strings of jurors when you can.

Damn. You just described almost my exact same problem. Everyone tells me I should break it off, as I'm sure people who you explain the situation to do as well, especially my most trusted friends. I'm in it solely not to hurt her feelings which in turn makes me feel like a huge pussy. So, welcome to my world.

Read John Eldredge's "Wild at Heart". It is very much RP within a religious context. I believe you can Google and find a pdf download. This big has been a game changer for many.

Do you live in the American south ? Because here, there is a significant black population and there is a decent percentage of white women who prefer black men. A lot! To each their own, but it's clearly not just in the movies.

Side note - I've heard it reasoned that you give compliments based on areas of perceived weakness. Examples: a 6 who is extremely intelligent, comment on looks because she knows she's very smart. On the other hand, your typical 8/9 with no brains , call them interesting or smart, something they probably NEVER hear.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
