| 1 | Surface Pressure is the traditional masculinity anthem. It's interesting how much compassion people express for Luisa but that's just another day in the life of a traditional male.Because the character is female it suddenly gets recognition, love, sympathy, and understanding. If it was a male character, with absolutely zero dialogue or action changes in the script, it would have gotten none of them. Why? The whole reason this song shot to the top of the charts (at least here in the UK) is that it resonates with both men and women.
