The problem here is when you have people like a good mate of mine who were sexually abused by their mother. The fact that her mother doesn't have a penis is really not the defining factor in that abuse. Also - lets be clear, women have been convicted of rape in the UK (v rare) No woman in the UK has ever been convicted of rape because it’s not a law that can convict females. Women can be convicted of all other sexual offences though
Only using the legal definition. Minimising the experience of men is not the way to highlight the experience of women. That makes no sense, men can rape other men under the legal definition Disingenuous. You know I was referring to men raped by women. Because the legal definition doesn’t accept it as rape doesn’t mean that’s not what it is. Marital rape wasn’t covered by law once. That’s not true. Rape is an act committed by a man, towards any other person.
