Do we really want to be as petty as to demand proportional image representation in what appears to be an afternoon's photo collage, though? Getting some exposure is good for now. Getting the idea into the public conscience that women aren't all peaches and honey is going to take some time and a lot of pressure, we can't expect it to happen immediately everywhere.

The stuff going on as a result of title IX and the strong push to erode or eliminate due process protections is alarming, but I have to say that I'm not super worried out it for the long run. Not a big deal. Someone who is shadowbanned can promptly turn around and create another account. The imaginary internet points get reset to zero, there's a period of slow posting, but aside from that it's hardly a blip. It is nifty that nicemod alerts, though. I'm not going to paint all feminists with that brush (let's be honest, many women adopt "feminist" as a label or brand without even knowing what it entails, and while I don't think it's a good choice I also don't think it's fair to write them off quite as harshly as 'rapist allies'), but I have seen some feminists explicitly tell alleged victims to avoid going to the police because of "revictimization". That shit's just crazy talk.

It should be obvious. By the time many of us come here, whether or not we're "marriage material" is irrelevant. We've already been married. The label is meaningless at that point.
