Not sure if you're trolling or genuinely curious, but either way, I'm willing to bite or potentially help someone out. Keep in mind TRP is very amoral. 'Slut' is just a term for a girl that has sex with a lot of guys. That is literally the definition, so your first question answers itself. This topic sort of addresses and speculates on what I think is the idea getting you caught up. Everything depends on what you are looking for, which is why we avoid the good/bad dichotomy. Sluts aren't desirab…

The right guy with great frame can definitely take up any hobby and see success with women. Still, I doubt just anyone can do this, especially people new to TRP or looking to use hobbies specifically to increase SMV. For those people, choosing hobbies, or at least which hobbies are public or private, should still be given some thought. I know when I was just starting with game, I played up my admittedly infrequent DJing while keeping my life-long penchant for Lego architecture to myself mostly. …

No problem, and yeah absolutely, I'd be glad to help if I can. Though fair warning: since my 1-semester intro class in college that taught nothing more than scales and a few easy songs, everything I have learned has been self-taught. So I don't exactly have a lot of experience helping others or even knowing the "right" or best way to go about learning. But I'd be glad to share what I know.

There seems to be a pretty good gap in opinion here between "follow your dreams/don't base your life on sex" and "do lift, don't play video games, get pussy." And they're both right, the answer is (as always) in the middle. Any hobby can get women. My long time friend's older brother is apparently a phenomenal fantasy writer and runs a lot of Dungeons & Dragons campaigns as he did throughout college. You better fucking believe he got women directly because of this hobby, though the quality/quant…

As a pianist, I just wanted to throw in: do it. I learned piano as a gen ed in college, long after having picked up trombone, guitar, harp, trumpet, and drums throughout public schooling years, and of all those, piano is THE instrument for this kind of goal. Piano is used in literally almost any genre; rock to house to classical, nothing has come close for me in terms of either time/girl payoff or personal satisfaction.

My bad, allow me to edit my statement: unless you can be make a girl think you are literally the highest value guy she can possibly fuck (hint: you can't be - even if you could for a while, you will not be cannot forever), you can never ever ever have and keep a girl who will 100% be committed solely because of what you do. All the dread, frame, and game in the world still can't turn a ho into a housewife.

This was the first thought I had when I saw the title posted here as well. Still, I found a lot of the "influence people" parts to be useful (such as his example of how a dog's genuine eagerness and friendliness can easily win the heart of any person), and I think the book could be helpful to a person with the right frame. Just take everything written with a grain of salt. Or a dose of the red-pill.

You're missing the point. Hypergamy is a thing, so unless you can be literally the highest value guy she can possibly fuck (hint: you can't be - even if you could for a while, you will not be forever), you can never ever ever have and keep a girl who will 100% be committed solely because of what you do.

Exactly. Though I might not say someone who feels that anger hasn't swallowed the red pill, he at least hasn't fully accepted it. Everyone here is still here because there are aspects of his game that need improving, this bitter part included.

Why is this response being downvoted? He is right. Saying "You could lose a few pounds" is a terrible idea - it is just an insult, not a neg, and ignores how getting that text would made a girl feel. As explained a million times here on TRP, all we as guys essentially offer is the tingles and that response would kill anything you had going previously.

If only mate, most of us wouldn't be here if our dads had/shared that kind of knowledge.

The top post covers Buddhism very well I think, but this response definitely hits something important. I've seen a lot of men are angry, frustrated, etc. with the truths they learn here about the nature of women. And here is also where Buddhism could possibly be the most valuable - a large part of its philosophy is to accept life and all that goes with it. I think that is a lesson from which a lot of guys, both new and old to TRP, could benefit.

I have to disagree with this response. The standard red-pill thing is, yes, "don't give a fuck," but you wouldn't have written this post unless the group you're referring to is important. A lot of the other responses have good ideas (including the original one here - ignore her), and they all fall under the category of game that girl. Make her attracted to you. But you have to engage her in order to change her feelings towards you. No need to change how she thinks of you, just the feeling you gi…

No apology necessary, my post (and thus your response) cover a lot of topics so keeping everything straight was admittedly harder than it should be for a post here on AskTRP. And I definitely agree with what you say about feminism and the male-female dynamic in relationships, definitely reflective of what I feel I've gleaned from red-pill theory in general. Thanks for taking the time to read through my winded, multi-part attempt at a post/response and giving constructive responses.

1) Ok, cool. You agree with me so we are done here 2) Exactly what I was looking for, I completely misread that sentence because "themselves" is ambiguous. I read it as men can't control themselves, but now I think the intended idea is women blame men because women can't control themselves. Definitely just clicked there, thanks man. Though to be honest, I reached the "rape" conclusion as I did because of the context in the book. This section comes right after the author describes how women use c…

This is by far the best answer. Responses like "realize women aren't that important" or "go live life" clearly misinterpreted OP's question - he isn't waiting around for a response, he is asking what/how should you respond to girls not giving you and your time the respect they deserve. And this answer nails it.

To what 'movement' are you referring? TRP isn't a movement. I've always thought the beauty of TRP is that we don't try to change the way things are, and instead we just share how to find success within reality. Leave the hope-y, change-y stuff to the feminists.

I found these categories a bit strange. For instance, according to the Sigma description, Alphas get mad when people laugh at them? I can't imagine an Alpha caring enough about someone's opinion to let something like that get such a reaction from him. Also, using Beta to describe people that "don't have a lot of illusions about [women]" is a total new direction from how 'beta' is traditionally used here, which would no doubt be confusing. I like that these categories try to get away from a binar…

No, I don't really get the picture. "Entitled" is usually used by feminists to describe how society supposedly conditions men to feel they are owed (entitled to) women and, in particular, sex. I fail to understand this idea in your context in any way. But let's chalk it up to my own shortcomings and call it a day, I don't really care enough. And I have got to stop spending time on things about which I don't really care.

Entitlement is what gets results? I get the whole story, the extended metaphor, but can you explain what you mean by this statement? Or is it just pseudo-intellectual bullshit that sounds nice if you don't think too hard?

Generally you get (perfectly fine) answers about not giving any fucks and what have you. But I read a great post on here the other week explaining the perception of TRP, and it made me think our perception isn't just an unfortunate side effect. I quickly looked and couldn't find it, but it went something like this: We started with PUAs, men sharing ideas on gaming women and improving themselves to do so more effectively. When Strauss' 'The Game' brings PUAs into the mainstream, things start to c…

Freud hasn't been taken seriously in a long time, no. He was wrong about pretty much everything he said and did regarding psychotherapy. Still there is a reason some of his ideas are still widely known and referenced: they're useful. The id vs superego dynamic is a way to model the mind, something that still isn't universally or clearly defined in psychology today.

OP is just providing information: women are this way, learn it so you can avoid being hurt by it and instead use it. But know that you can control yourself and only yourself. You can't control others or how they think. Believing otherwise is... well, that's where feminists come from.

give away their sexual services for free to any woman who will accept them TRP exists on the idea that men are the gatekeepers of commitment while women are the gatekeepers of sex. The idea that instead women will invest themselves to acquire our "sexual services," while possibly a useful frame to maintain, is not the reality. It assumes that women want exactly what men want, but of course TRP emphasizes, rather than shies away from, the differences between men and women. Red-pill theory isn't f…
