Denied.Hey mate, disagree all you want, the law is clear, and doesn’t really care about your opinion or mine, if you bust some chicks head open because she gave you a shove, try telling it to the judge that you were provoked. I’m sure it’ll go down a treat. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 29/04/20 05:22 AM
Denied.Lucky it has nothing to do with agreeing with me “Four elements are required for self-defense: (1) an unprovoked attack, (2) which threatens imminent injury or death, and (3) an objectively reasonable degree of force, used in response to (4) an objectively reasonable fear of injury or death.” You will find some variation of this in any western country, and in plenty of others besides. Try convincing a jury or judge that spilling someones brains is an objectively reasonable response to being shov… | /r/PussyPassDenied | 29/04/20 04:48 AM
Denied. There is 100% a standard of justifiable force in cases of self defence. The “it’s coming right for us!” Defence doesn’t hold much water. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 29/04/20 02:49 AM
Denied. So whats the point you’re trying to make? That she was the aggressor and kept moving thereby the dude is justified? Or that she’s a woman and he shouldn’t have hit her for that reason? Because your points are at odds with each other. The point is about capacity. He picked her up like a ragdoll, and being able to do that means he needed to show some restraint. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 29/04/20 02:08 AM
Denied. It has nothing to do with race or gender and bringing it up is pointless. That person shoved someone- in response, the other person picked them up and slammed their head into the ground. Its to do with application of reasonable force. You would have a hard time convincing a group of reasonable people that the response was proportional, and that absolutely matters in self defence claims. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 29/04/20 01:42 AM
Denied.Yeah there is a standard of proportionality, get shoved by a woman = / = body slamming her on to pavement. You would have to convince someone that you felt an imminent threat to your person that justified smashing their head open like a melon. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 28/04/20 11:10 PM
Australian Defence Force bans male recruits, slashes fitness tests to 4 pushups + 20 situpsStandards within the wider army have gone UP. The implementation of the PESA is slower than some have hoped, but its definitely a lot harder than doing a few pushups and a bit of a jog. | /r/MensRights | 11/08/17 11:30 PM
Australian Defence Force bans male recruits, slashes fitness tests to 4 pushups + 20 situpsShhh people want to be outraged. The PESA is more strenuous than the BFA ever was. The entry test has always been quite low, they do a longer basic training now with a pre conditioning program that goes for longer. If you have a short basic training, you need to arrive fitter. Theyre basically saying "get them in the gate, we'll deal with it later". As for the male vs female quotas, it's a shame that they're doing it in an exclusionary manner but anyone claiming that the entry test for pushups i… | /r/MensRights | 11/08/17 11:27 PM
