Also please give me an example of these differences because for some reason as soon as it is negative you say it doesn’t count for some stupid reason. Like, isn’t there at least one of those differences that is negative ?

I’ve answered this question 4 times now. No you did not. You tried to make it sound like you did without addressing the actual point. Yes there are differences, but how the individual allows those differences to affect their actions is not down to gender differences, but individual morality. Exactly. And the differences also mean men and women are pressured to acheive different things. So a bad woman is more likely to do a particular type of bad action. A man is more likely to do another type of…

You shouldn’t spend so much time on the internet. You start to hold on to an opinion that you know you can’t even defend with decent arguments.

Bro what. I try to find nuance because I don’t think being a pedo is about masculinity or femininity. Also why would you assume that there ISNT nuance ? And yeah I believe men have some stereotypes that are pushed on them by society. Those statements are not contradictory. Again, stop dodging the main argument. Are there differences between men and women or not ? If not, then masculinity doesn’t exist. If there is, then surely not ALL of them are 100% positive. You get mad because you know you’r…

Nah. Psychology is more complex than that. You can’t just decide on how you interpret data. Also, the idea that being vulnerable means being weak IS ONE OF THE STEREOTYPES BEING PUSHED. Just because women push it more doesn’t mean it’s not a stereotypes that gets pushed on men. Meaning it’s part of masculinity to have this societal pressure. And yeah, that comes in part from how you are raised.

Your Belief is not only incorrect, but also sexist. You just made an assumption based on your bigotry towards men. Bro what ? I said that i wasn’t sure. I just took a guess. I’m not discriminating men, you sound exactly like the crazy feminists that people hate so much on this sub. My point is that according to your logic, this means that child abuse is a form of ‘Toxic Femininity’, and whenever a man abuses a child he’s expressing ‘Toxic femininity’ First, the difference is pretty damn small. A…

Bro I just read the link you sent me and it’s hilarious. It doesn’t even say that men aren’t more likely to be afraid of being vulnerable. It says that mothers are more likely to push gender stereotypes. That’s not the same lmao. How can you ignore my main argument, focus on a random example i gave instead of the main point, send me the first random link that kinda fits your narrative, not realize that the article doesn’t even disprove my argument, and then act smart and cocky like you’ve won th…

And please, for the tenth time, i would like you to explain how masculinity can exist if every masculine trait can be found in women too. Stop avoiding this question. It has nothing to do with morality. Masculinity refers to traits that are typically found in men. It doesn’t mean good or bad.

I believe men are more likely to abuse children but I’m not sure. What’s your point ?

Do you not realize how hypocritical you are ? You keep ignoring half of my arguments since the beginning of this discussion. You keep ignoring my main argument and deflecting it to something else instead of answering. You also ignored my last one. But I miss ONE and you think you’re smart. Look, maybe it wasn’t a good example, maybe I gave you a bad one. Honestly I don’t know and I don’t care, the main point still stands. Unless you’re trying to tell me there is no difference between men and wom…

Stop sending me random articles, there are 7 billion people on earth so of course women and men both do crazy things. That doesn’t mean one gender is more likely to do a specific thing.” I meant : That doesn’t mean one gender isn’t more likely to do a specific thing. Literally just a typo lol. Now I would like to know why you think masculinity exists if you keep denying the differences between men and women. You claim it exists but as soon as I try to give an example of a difference between gend…

First of all stop putting words in my mouth. I am not responsible for other people’s opinion so you can’t use that to disprove my arguments. All the arguments you use to disprove the fact that toxic masculinity exists could be used to disprove the fact that masculinity itself exists. Women do masculine things sometimes. So masculinity doesn’t exist ? This is obviously not true because there are obviously differences between men and women. So please explain to me why you use the argument "it‘s no…

You agreed that masculinity exists. That means you agree men are more likely to act a certain way. But as soon as the behavior is question is negative you act like there is no difference between men and women ?? Instead of taking a specific example, look at it as a whole. You can’t deny that men are not expected of the same things, don’t think the same and act the same way women do. And some of those differences are negative. Sometimes it hurts men too btw. Like the fact that men often think bei…

Hitting on all the women you see. Thinking that you need to fight anyone who slightly disrespects you. Thinking your value as a man comes from how many women you fuck. Thinking being sensitive is gay. I don’t think I need to explain why these traits are toxic. They also are masculine traits. Doesn’t mean every man has those traits. You can’t just say “I am right because everyone knows I’m right, and everyone knows that I am right because I say I am right”. I did not say that.
/r/MensRights27/01/25 12:16 PM

Whatever you call them, they are still examples of toxic masculinity. No I don’t hit on all the women I see. How is this question relevant ? It has nothing to do with me personally. Hitting on all the women you see is masculine, it’s something men often do because they can’t control their horniness. Those are examples of toxic masculinity.
/r/MensRights27/01/25 12:13 PM

Toxic masculinity is undeniably a real thing. It refers to the toxic parts of masculinity. Masculine traits that are toxic. That’s it.
/r/MensRights27/01/25 12:09 PM

Read it again. I gave you several examples.
/r/MensRights27/01/25 04:47 AM

And you think every single masculine behavior is good ? That none of them are bad ? Masculinity refers to typically masculine behaviours. Hitting on all the girls you see, or thinking that being sensitive is gay, or being unable to be vulnerable, are definitely masculine traits. They’re also toxic. So they are toxic masculinity. By the way, in my analogy, the rot was not masculinity it was the toxicity. The point was that the term toxic masculinity does not mean masculinity is toxic, just like r…

Bizarre false equivalency, but you are suggesting that all rot is ‘Masculine’ or at least that you strangely haven’t considered any of the rot that is ‘feminine’. And until you do you can’t claim to have a full and balanced POV. Bro what ? Is the analogy that hard to understand ? I used it to disprove your statement that if toxic masculinity existed it would mean that all men are toxic. How can you miss the point that much ? Because you are certain one exists, therefore the other must exist. I’m…

Not at all. It means toxic individuality exists, NOT ‘toxic Masculinity’. Because if everyman is masculine to some degree, your assertion would be that everyman is toxic to some degree. If I say that rotten meat is bad, does that mean I’m saying that all meat is rotten ? Not every man is toxic because not every man has toxic masculine traits. That’s not hard to understand lol. Toxic masculinity does not mean masculinity is bad. It refers to toxic behaviours that are also masculine. So, are you s…

What part of my comment made you think it was heated ? We’re having a debate. That’s all. I get that the emotion of a comment can be tricky to interpret without body language but just because I wrote the words "immature idiot" to describe people who throw tantrums does not mean I am mad lol. I’m not sure what makes my comment seem like such a personal attack.

You can’t claim men and women are equal if you don’t claim they are equally capable of ‘toxic’ behavior. When people say that men and women are equal, they usually mean that they deserve equal rights, that they have equal value. This is different than saying they are the same. Women and women are different. This is a fact. Men are more likely to do some things, women are more likely to do some other things. I do not think one gender is more toxic than the other and I never implied that I do. Typ…

Do you seriously think that being prone to anger and throwing a tantrum will get you respect from people ? You will just look like an immature idiot, including to other men. Positive masculinity gets you respect. Toxic masculinity not so much. At best it will leave people indifferent.

Because you seem to be playing a bizarre shell game. Whenever a man does something wrong it’s Masculine, whenever a woman does something wrong, it’s Masculine. You missed my point. This is not what I said. There are behaviours or personality traits that are typically masculine. That’s called masculinity. Some of them are toxic. The toxic ones are what toxic masculinity is. Of course a woman can have some of those traits, that doesn’t mean they aren’t typically masculine. Just like a guy can have…

Some of them might have done it, but it is still without any doubt masculine behavior. Some guys and proud of that and that’s a toxic mindset. That’s toxic masculinity. But of course, you could could find example of women doing any thing considered masculine, does that mean masculinity isn’t a thing ?
/r/MensRights27/01/25 03:01 AM

Toxic masculinity does not mean masculinity is toxic. It refers to masculine behaviours that are toxic. There’s a difference between saying "rotten meat is bad" and "meat is rotten". Meat is good. Rotten meat is bad. Hope this analogy helped.

It’s not hateful. It’s a real thing. Just stop associating it with the crazy extremist feminists you see on social media.

Not true. Try to at least understand what the term means. Toxic masculinity is toxic behaviours that are masculine. An example is hitting on all the women you meet. Or wanting to get in a fight with anyone who slightly disrespects you. Or thinking that being vulnerable makes you a pussy. Or thinking that sensibility is "gay". Those are all masculine behaviors. And they are all toxic. It doesn’t mean being masculine is bad. Positive masculinity means taking care of others, controlling your emotio…

Not true. Toxic masculinity is a real thing, it’s the toxic behaviours that are part of masculinity. For example, wanting to fight anyone who slightly disrespects you. Or hitting on all the women you meet. It’s not just a term used by feminists to hate on men for the sake of it.
/r/MensRights27/01/25 02:13 AM

That’s not really what it is tho. Toxic masculinity is toxic behaviours that are masculine. It often comes from a false idea of what it means to be a man. But it’s not necessarily for appealing to women. For example, wanting to fight anyone who slightly disrespects you is a trait that is part of toxic masculinity. And I don’t think anyone acts that way just to try to get girls.

It’s already illegal it’s called defamation. It’s just really hard to prove that the person is lying that’s why people usually get away with it.

That’s the problem with both this sub and feminists sub. You don’t understand that there is something between dismissing women’s issues / not acknowledging any of the advantages men have and dismissing men’s issues / not acknowledging any of the advantages women have. It’s called nuance. The reality is grey. Not black. Not white. First of all this guy’s experience does not apply to my argument. I literally said that this is about grown men and not little boys. And no, he did not provide any data…

You are NOT having a nuanced opinion.. you are spouting the usual drivel used to minimize / downplay male victims.. I’ve heard it all before. Just because some feminists say similar things to downplay male victims doesn’t mean I downplay male victims. You sound like the feminists who think you’re a misogynist if you say that men have problems too. I need you to understand that acknowledging that there is a good reason why domestic violence against men is not talked about as much as domestic viol…

Bro calm down a nuanced opinion is not a personal insult. 1- a five year old boy is not a man. 2- anyone who assaults anyone with deadly weapons will be arrested. I’m not saying women can’t kill a man if they want to, obviously it’s not that hard to kill someone. my point is that in most cases of domestic violence men do not fear for their life. In cases of domestic violence the couple is usually not trying to murder eachother they just take out their anger on eachother. 3- if a man defends hims…

I don’t think the man is always the aggressor and the woman is always the victim, but you have to understand that a woman hitting a man will probably not injure him that much. If the man wants to defend himself he can in most cases. But if a man decides to hit a woman he can kill her pretty easily. I’m not saying that men who face domestic violence don’t exist or that they aren’t victims, but they are not afraid for their life, so i understand why people don’t talk that much about domestic viole…

The fact that men are on average less educated than women is not a male issue. It’s like the gender pay gap, it’s just that men and women have different interests and ambitions. There is nothing preventing men from becoming highly educated. Men simply don’t like school as much as women and on average prefer to het high paying jobs that don’t require them to spend too much time in the education system. And women, on average, care more about being educated but care less about making money. It’s no…

I think you have to let go of that victim mindset bro. Yes, men have issues, yes men tend to be seen by what they provide instead of their intrinsic value but it’s not true that society doesn’t see us as human. You’d be surprised how many women feel the same about their gender. Like they’re just a piece of meat to men. I think men’s right is the movement you’re talking about. The problem is that people on both sides think feminism and men’s right should contradict eachother because they are too …
