It’s simple metonymy of meaning. All of the meaning behind these really charged signifiers like “Alpha” and “Beta” are dependent on the person who writes them because they control the context and the context determines the meaning. Beta boys dont understand this.

Where do these ambiguous principles come from? Who is giving them to you, and why are they superior to any other “set of principles”? More specifically stoicism is a set of principles whose chief intent is to make you happy with being fucked by someone elses “higher purpose”. They guide you through a life someones already built for you. They dont teach you how to do anything except how to get fucked everyday and be okay with it
