It’s blown out of proportion from a loud minority. Portlandia didn’t help. Some weird shit sometimes but for the most part just your typical blue state and honestly just in Portland and it’s close outskirts. Shit ton of farm country and stuff in Oregon. For the most part Oregon is pretty awesome. In Portland I’m an hour from the beach and an hour from the mountain. Not a lot of places you can do that.

Buy cheap. I got this property for 65k because it was so poorly taken care of. Kenwood 5 channel amp, kenwood excelon deck, 2 12” subs, K2 speakers, car lined in sound skin, etc... The install was only about $1000 but it took two guys 8 hours to do. I didn’t cheap out and get a rattling system. The speakers alone were $1200 a pair.

As long as your vehicle towed what it needed to who cares? My Tacoma has towed an easy 100,000 lbs and I’ve only had it since January. It’s rated to tow 6500 and I’ve been weighed at the dump at way over that. Unless you’re moving really heavy material I wouldn’t worry.

Got the truck for a good deal and I spend a lot of time driving so I like it to sound amazing. I bought amazing speakers, subs, amp, deck, and lined the car in sound skin. Really comes in handy when a girl is trying to argue with me and I just turn it up.

Thanks, and yes the truck is a beast. Has done everything I bought it for. It pulls thousands of pounds over what it’s rated with no issue. I’m in wine country in Oregon actually but it’s not my plant. Growing good anything is an art. I can grow some good nursery plants, any vegetables, and I specialize in marijuana. Growing good grapes for wine is very specialized just like growing weed.If I took the time to learn I bet I could grow some awesome ones. For now though I’ll stick to what I know.
