Can confirm, having the girl take the initiative sometimes is amazing. I was walking with a girl a recently started talking with in my class to her car and out of no where she asked if I wanted to go out for a quick bite since she had a little while before work. It was really surprising and her attractiveness skyrocketed after that.

That's true, just a little introduction never hurts (doing this often would help get over the approach anxiety) I often will just walk up to a girl if I notice her staring at me a lot, and just spark up short and simple conversation to get the attraction going. (Then obviously exchange numbers to meet up later and then get back to my workout) or if we so happen to be on the way out of the gym around the same time I'll have a more in depth conversation then.

I'm not saying people can't have success at gyms, because you can. I've definitely chatted up people working at the front counter. But the main reason I go to the gym is to work out and focus on myself. (Which if you're serious about going to the gym, someone stopping you while you have an elevated heart rate can really mess with your workout). Just a golden rule of mine that I won't approach someone mid workout. You don't send your ducks to eagle school.

Most people go to the gym to work out, not socialize. Personally I would find it annoying if someone interrupted me mid workout especially if I had headphones in.

I tend to avoid approaching people at the gym. Just because people go there to work out, not really a social environment.

Solid, I'll give it a read! Thanks.

Sounds like you should mainly start focusing on yourself and building your confidence. For the kissing issue, no it's not uncommon to not have had a kiss by age 20, and it's definitely not uncommon for girls to not ask. Just how society is, it's a tradition that the guy initiates everything. (Kinda fucking dumb in my opinion. If a girl likes a guy she should initiate it)

Marines, mad respect dude. You do provide higher value over the college counterparts (the way you phrased your post, you can easily tell) i will say I don't see the college/post college game being an issue. if you see a lot of women disqualifying you once you tell them you're not in college then just make up a solid explanation. Essentially removing that issue.

Personally I just call to set up plans (avoid situations like this and it makes planning a lot easier) but to your question, if this is the first time she took forever to get back to you then I wouldn't be against giving it one more attempt. (People get busy, it happens)

That's what I was assuming it would mean.

I would say focus on yourself first. If you're happy with yourself then you will be much more confident and as a result better socially.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
