So true. I learned that the women who are attracted to the typical dark triad abusive men are severely lacking in emotional intelligence. Genuinely good women are attracted to good men (in general).

Literally this. They want us all fighting each other constantly. Then, when we feel down or lonely, they want us to buy their cheap overpriced stuff or monthly subscription service.

Costs too: 1. Rent, 2. Activities. Do not quote me on this, but in the 1970s (UK) I heard that it was commonplace to spend 10% of a wage on rent, now it's closer to 40%. It's awkward to bring someone home with your parents right there in the next room. This is assuming you have a job as the grad job market now is a joke. The price of standard irl activities: restaurants, cinema, travel, alcohol. Are all expensive and prices have increased since the pandemic.

Nailed it: Most women use their boyfriends as "competition fodder" to outrank their female friends. Mike as a PhD, but Jerry is 6'2", no but Tommy is an Entrepreneur on 100k — that type of thing. As a man, it isn't good enough to be competent, loving, decisive, communicative etc. You also have to also outcompete her friend's boyfriends.

If a woman called me "husband material" I would remember it for years as a big complement. It signals: stable, wise, experienced, "I want my sons to be like you". If I called a woman "wifey material" it's me saying: marriageable, I want my daughters to be like you, you're a role model, you're not a hook up, rather someone I want to invest in long-term. Perhaps this is because I am older though (32M) these are not pejorative terms for me.

I'm more sympathetic to sex clubs as they're private, but these baths are run by (local) government.

Thank you for all this information mate! I am looking at ways to escalate this because it is clearly wrong and misguided (at best), and malicious misandry (most probably).

Indeed, I agree it's strange and bizarre. I think we as a society need to understand that men's and women's rights are linked. Increasing the quality of life for males has positive effects on females, making life better for females is positive for males. Public policy (improving civic life) is not a "zero-sum" contest between the sexes. Thank you though mate, your solidarity helps!

Just shows that it was not about equality after all. It was about heavily disadvantaging males. It's like society wants males to be fat, inactive and docile.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
