How to de-escalate with aggressive guys without looking weak?Size isn't a substitute for knowing how to fight, and can even make you a target. And if you don't know what you're doing, no amount of size is going to save you against someone who does -- you're going to get worked. The best way to deal with this type of situation is to go to a boxing gym and learn self defense. | /r/askTRP | 27/11/19 06:34 AM
Why do men not select for height in mates?Violent deaths are exceedingly common in the animal kingdom. A mate isn't just providing protection from other people, they're also protection against predators. Not to mention, there have been some extraordinarily violent periods in human history -- the Mongols are estimated to have killed 5% of the world's population in their expansion west. Raiding societies like the vikings or the Polynesian tribes in the Pacific were also quite common. Mortal threats have the potential to terminate your ent… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/09/19 12:58 AM
Why do men not select for height in mates?I disagree. For the vast majority of human history, a woman's partner was the last line of defense when the shit hit the fan. Size is such a massive advantage in any confrontation that it can often overwhelm skill and training. It's also a huge deterrent, and a signal of fitness on its own (it takes more resources to grow taller). It makes perfect biological sense for women to be attracted to height, especially if what they're selecting for is protection (generally the case in my experience). | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/09/19 02:43 AM
Why do men not select for height in mates?Women select for height because it makes them feel safe. Shorter guys can do the same, but they need to have fairly pronounced masculinity. Men don't rely on women for any form of safety, so it's not an attractiveness cue for us. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/09/19 02:30 AM
Should you avoid women all together if I don't have my ***t together?Women are more than capable of coming up with reasons for not dating / sleeping with you. Don't do their job for them. Your problem here is your mindset; you don't need to apologize to anyone for who you are. You're not perfect (nobody is), you have things you're working on (everybody should), and you seem to be improving yourself. You don't need to check off a bunch of things before being with somebody -- the only requirements are that you both find each other attractive, and make yourselves av… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/09/19 03:49 AM
CMV: OLD isn't making women narcissists. It's not that bad, but it's not the tacorama that it was a decade ago. It's now more 50:50 instead of 10:90. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/09/19 03:33 AM
CMV: OLD isn't making women narcissists.Hit a nerve, did I? Do you believe that in order to take on any new activity you have to become it’s stereotype? Clearly, which is why I became a lesbian when I took up women's hockey. As a man. I take it you're a bit of a dim bulb? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/09/19 03:32 AM
CMV: OLD isn't making women narcissists. The difficulty is that when men enter a space that is filled with women, the women tend to leave. See salsa dancing schools for example; ten years ago, there were never enough men to go around, and the women were having to learn both male and female roles. Nowadays, a guy might have to wait for one of the girls to free up in order to do some dancing. What happened was that the women were there to meet Fernando, Chad's Latin cousin, or at least a Chad-lite who could move his hips. Then, the thirs… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/09/19 06:00 AM
The lock and key analogy is a non-practical comparison and only representative of the perspective you personally hold on sex, men, and women.I can understand that you are a guy who sees a prostitute and a wife as a separate thing but you have to know your audience when your posting on a subreddit frequented by guys who are one step away from marrying pillows the way they view relationships. If a relationship only equates someone to orgasm onto, it's mirroring porn and porn only. I think you're wrong here. I think the guys on TRP have fundamentally the same viewpoint as I do, except that they believe that no modern women meet the stan… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/08/19 05:16 AM
The lock and key analogy is a non-practical comparison and only representative of the perspective you personally hold on sex, men, and women. This shows a misunderstanding of male sexuality. I can't speak for every guy, but many guys separate women into two categories -- those that are good for sex, but not commitment, and those that are good for commitment. Men are sexual opportunists in a way that women can't really understand, and they compete with other men through sex, because sex is not something that every man can get. It has high value to men. Most guys wouldn't let other men have sex with their wife, for example, but would ha… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/08/19 01:23 AM
Why are there some women who refuse to marry player types or especially guys they have casual sex with?Oh look, a woman trying to shame a man into accepting all of her bad decisions. Isn't there a football team looking for a homoerotic male bonding experience that you should be out there servicing right now? I'm sure I don't need to tell you that the train isn't gonna pull itself. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/08/19 04:36 AM
The biological determinism that many prominent Red Pillers promote is nonsense. But if you get a man and a woman in the same weight class and throw them into the octagon or the boxing ring where that shit comes into actual play and hard numbers matter way less you'll see women win a fair amount of the time. Hell controversy aside Margaret MacGregor beat the shit out of Loi Chow and you see similar fights in MMA. This is laughable. For one thing, McGregor was a professional boxer, whereas Chow was a former jockey who'd never boxed before. He was nearly declared medically unf… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/08/19 12:51 AM
girls fucking lots of guys doesn't matterThis has nothing to do with promiscuity and everything to do with attraction and communication. If she's attracted to you, she'll want to fuck you. In my experience, there's not a huge difference between experienced and inexperienced women when it comes to skill in bed, because most women prefer to be submissive anyway. If anything, it's easier to give inexperienced girls orgasms, because novelty is a powerful factor in having hot sex. Yes, it's trivial for a woman to get laid. That doesn't mean… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/08/19 08:13 AM
Men are shit at birth controlTwo big reasons: 1) A lot of guys are wearing the wrong size condoms, sometimes for years at a time. I'm not huge by any stretch, and I have to wrestle a normal sized condom over the head of my penis before rolling it on, and I did so for more than a decade, because porn gave me the wrong idea about size and statistics. I didn't think I needed to use larger ones, because from my perspective, I'm not that big. It's a major mood killer, and given the pressure on guys to perform, I can understand w… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/08/19 12:30 AM
what goes through your mind when you sleep with someone you find unattractive?Pretty unlikely. I don't sleep with girls in my social circle as a general rule, unless I think there's genuinely something there. If she's a quick pick up, my goal is to dominate her and get my rocks off. If she has a good time, great, and if she doesn't, that's not my problem. I also think it's statistically unlikely that I'm any better or worse than the average guy out there. I'm reasonably certain many blokes have never actually given a woman an orgasm in their lives (despite what they belie… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/08/19 07:09 AM
what goes through your mind when you sleep with someone you find unattractive?Doesn't this remove any agency the woman might have? Also, it assumes that I care if she has an orgasm or not. If it's an ugly chick I'm railing in a ONS or as a non-exclusive fuck friend, I'm not there to get her off, I'm there to get me off. She can rub her clit while I fuck her, but if she doesn't get off I don't see how that's my problem? Obviously, with a girlfriend or an ltr, the standard is different. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/08/19 02:54 AM
what goes through your mind when you sleep with someone you find unattractive?Total, unashamed honesty? If she's ugly, I'll take her hard because I don't really care about her. On some level I know that she's reaching, and I'm better than her; she knows that too, and so she'll let me degrade her (within limits). I get off on the power differential, even though I might be put off by other aspects. I'll be very clear that a relationship is not on the table, and I'll continue to fuck her in a non-exclusive arrangement until I either get bored of her, or she decides to end th… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/08/19 02:40 AM
Why are there some women who refuse to marry player types or especially guys they have casual sex with?In my experience, men tend to lower their standards when looking for a fuck buddy or ONS, while women tend to raise theirs. That right there is the problem; it implies you aren't as good as the guy she fucked after talking to him for 10 minutes at the bar, but you have other traits that she likes. For me personally -- and I'd suspect a lot of guys -- I have one foot firmly in lust. I don't want to be second best to some random guy when it comes to a relationship, because it's completely emascula… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/08/19 01:01 AM
What evidence supports men have it harder in dating? If feminists admit that men and women are playing different games, the whole idea of evolution stopping at the neck goes out the window. It's an existential threat to the ideology as it currently stands. How do you justify quotas for women in certain fields if it becomes apparent that the patriarchy isn't keeping them out, and that the women who genuinely want to be there already are? It also explains why men accumulate in positions of power in the first place, and why a near-universal double st… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/08/19 07:51 AM
Men’s Stock Rises When They Trade in Young WomenThe problem with feminism is that it neglects the fundamental driving force of our species, which is procreation. This is a rare instance of a feminist grasping at the issue, and realizing that what she believes might be a crock of shit -- though instead of acknowledging the truth, she resorts to futile suggestions of changing who we are as humans. Women don't want to fuck soyboys, and masculinity comes with its own set of baggage. Yes, there are bad parts, such as a tendency for violence and pa… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/07/19 02:39 AM
