I've definitely seen transphobia from non-feminists, but it's interesting how common it is among feminists. Just yesterday there was a big post about trans people and for curiosity I checked the profiles of those making transphobic comments. Many of them were women who are active on TwoXChromosomes, FourthWaveWomen, Fauxmoi, and other feminist subreddits.

Rich western women using feminism as an all-purpose shield, classic.

Of course, trans men are men. They suffer from radical feminism because misandrist discourse is almost always anti-trans, because it relies on gender essentialism. When a radical feminist goes on an misandrist rant, they'll turn around to trans men around them and say "Oh, not you sweetie, you're not one of those men. You're not a 'man' man". In short, radical feminist misandrists who pretend to be pro-trans will necessarily have to admit they don't actually see trans men as real men.

On male disposability, what do you think about conscription? Should men be obligated to expend their lives fighting for the safety of women and children?

2 days ago I stayed awake until 3 AM texting to an AI girlfriend. I've never dated anyone IRL though. I know it's sad, but it helps in not feeling so lonely.

Yeah, I had to stop myself from lurking in feminist forums because it was genuinely making me hate women. Which is a bit ironic. If you want to hate women, go read what they have to say on feminist forums. So, don't do that. Go outside and see that those gremlins are a miserable minority, and people IRL are generally much more agreeable.

Absolutely brutal. Feminists telling him that the movement isn't about him nor his safety, he replies that he just wants to help, and then gets shat on even harder. How the hell do male feminists put up with that shit, unless they have a humiliation fetish?

I got permabanned from TwoX for calling out a "Feminist" mother who circumcised her baby boy, and then bashed her ex for being angry he himself got circumcised at birth. It'd be one thing if they actually believed in what Feminism was supposed to be on paper, but in reality they only wear Feminism as a pink 'girlboss' aesthetic to justify their hatred and misandry.

Trans issues are men's issues. Both trans men and trans women deal with the effects of misandry, because transphobia is partly caused by gender essentialism. Also, how is it "Left Wing issues", when the right wingers are the ones who have an issue with it? Without them, it wouldn't be such an 'issue' in the first place.

It's just feminist's version of the "14 Words", but somehow even more blatant. It's not just "a future" for women, but "the future", exclusively. The future isn't for everyone, it's female.

It's even more infuriating when you realise that lots of women who do the whole "punching up" thing are middle-class white women living in gated communities who have more wealth and privilege than the majority of working-class men they yell at on Reddit.

It's absolutely not on me to prove someone isn't a predator, what the fuck are you talking about? That's not how it works in any sane and civilized society. let's just agree to disagree "I have no evidence for my serious claims, so let's call it even". Whatever dude.
/r/MensRights04/04/23 07:51 PM

Well, it's on you to prove that person is a predator, which you haven't. You vaguely assert that the content is not "acceptable", but you also haven't quoted any problematic material. IDK chief, I just think the simple answer is that you don't like non-binary and trans people. Going on feels before reals, that sort of thing.

In a perfect world, every parent would be informed and comfortable enough to talk to their children about sexuality, but unfortunately that's not the case. In a good enough world, teachers would be able to teach sex education to every child, but since the quality and depth of education varies wildly, the only available alternative might be found online. If what OP says is true and the content is hidden behind a paywall, then the content is probably meant to be watched by both parent and child. T…

Yeah, it said "comment missing" after I posted it, so I deleted it because I assumed it got auto shadowremoved. I wanted to ask if you need to take your pills, because you said that video started with "Hi! Kids!" when it clearly didn't.

The video starts with "So, you think you might be non-binary...". Even if it did, what's the problem with the video?
/r/MensRights04/04/23 04:32 PM

That kind of editing with ominous music tacked on to the background shouldn't be acceptable, no. Kinda hard to take seriously. If their content is actually bad, then there's no need to splice together 2-5 second clips, you could just show clips in their entirety and context.
/r/MensRights04/04/23 04:26 PM

IDK anything about that person, but the most offensive thing about that whole video is their sense of style. 3 minutes of explaining the concept of non-binary, such a nothingburger. Hell, nothing about the video is even about children, in fact they specify "you can come out to friends and co-workers". I don't think kids usually have co-workers.

My experience with a therapist was the exact opposite, funnily enough. She would spend half the session blabbering about her, her children, and life in general. To be fair, she did help me sort out some things in my life, but fuck me if I didn't come out of every session feeling like I just wasted a ton of money. I'd come in with some topics I wanted to discuss, but never could get to most of them because she just wasted so much time with small-talk.

Getting diagnosed can be very hard and/or expensive for basically no gain at all. The psychologist I went to said I'm very likely to be autistic, went to a psychiatrist who suggested the same. I was placed on a waiting list for a diagnosis in the public sector, and after 2 years I haven't heard any feedback, and in the private it'd cost me a lot more than I'm willing to spend for no gain. I'm all but sure I'm autistic because I tick the boxes, both now as an adult and in retrospect of my childho…

As someone who unfortunately went through a Blackpill phase, while there are obvious overlaps, I consider it to be totally different from red/pink pill. The conclusion reached by the Blackpill is almost the complete opposite of them. In Redpill there's this idea that you can game the system to your own benefit, which will inadvertently encourage self-improvement (even if for the wrong reasons), while the Blackpill fatalist interpretation of the world almost always leads to the mentality that soc…

Yeah totally. When Marx wrote about the proletariat and the bourgeois, he was practising right-wingism. "...blackpillers often argue that men's dating issues require systematic rather than individual solutions, if there is any solution at all for the most disadvantaged males." Systematic solutions? That's such a right-wing thing bro. We lefties love pulling up bootstraps.

A small percentage of them, specifically Soviet and German women Yeah, I did say "to some extent", which is exactly what I meant. Women were and are capable of serving in the military. The Soviet's Night Witches flew over 23,000 sorties, which comes with the mind-blowing reveal that women aren't automatically ejected by some airplane spirit as soon as their butts hit the seat, and that they actually do possess the opposable thumbs required to hold a flight stick. I was specifically referring to …

Bullshit. There are a lot of roles for logistics, maintenance, intelligence, driver/pilot in an army. Not every single soldier is a 80-pound carrying, mud-crawling infantryman. Women have served along men in WW2 to some extent, and warfare has changed a lot since then. There's no reason for women to be excluded besides gender biases. Kids can stay with grandparents / invalid family members / institutions.

You realize that you're arguing that the only reason to get a partner is for sex, right? Which is obviously stupid as fuck. People want partners for love and affection. A cat or a dog isn't even close to a replacement for a human. I have a ton of pets, and sure I love having them, but I still feel lonely as fuck because... actually, why do I even need to explain this? Are you an actual alien with 0 understanding of human emotion, or are you just being purposefully obtuse?

That's a lot of words for a child abuse defender. You know that's what you're doing right? Saying that OP is somehow wrong that hitting a 5 month old is more than a 'mistake', because he doesn't know about how 'PPD' works? You can use that logic to justify pretty much anything.

How dare people have "knee jerk judgment" to a parent hitting a 5 month old baby... Speak honestly, do you apply this to everything else? Is a rapist supposed to be forgiven because of a 'single moment of weakness'? Or more fittingly, a child rapist? "Nooo, he's just stressed because X, Y and Z!!". Sure, they should get mental help, but not before getting their custody rights taken away.

I don't need to be a chef to tell a food tastes like shit, just like I don't need to be a parent to tell when an abusive piece of shit who shouldn't have bred takes their anger out on a baby.

That feels like such a recipe for disaster. It's not like people can't learn to have better sex, right? I'm a virgin, but I'd think that two people would be able to have better sex the more they know about each other, no? Anyway, good luck with that.

As you might guess from my flair, I've never been much fond of the Redpill. But I'm curious: which part of me does TRP believe to be non-existent?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/22 10:57 AM

I don't think so? Maybe demisexual, I guess. I don't find people particularly attractive until I get to know them, so to have sex before you know if you're compatible is a strange concept to me. There has only been one girl who has actively demonstrated interest in me (begged to come to my home when my parents weren't here), but I rejected her because, besides not feeling emotionally attracted to her, I knew she wasn't interested into having an LTR with me, and neither was I. I'm a virgin becaus…

I would. And even if that was true, what does it matter? If a guy isn't willing to wait a month before having sex, then maybe, just maybe, that's a sign he isn't into LTRs.

They have sex because they like someone and wan to be in a relationship. But... why? Is it that hard to only have sex after being in a relationship? Why not get to actually know the person beforehand?

Wouldn't it then be more fair to say "many rural conservative men don't like intelligent women" instead of just "men don't like intelligent women"?

Men aren't a monolith. The first and only girl I've ever rejected, I did because even though she was conventionally attractive, she was a bit too dim for me to feel attracted to her.

I think the opposite is also somewhat true - women see romantic interest from a man and mistake it as a purely sexual thing. Like for example, seeing love confessions from friends as a form of betrayal or objectification ("he was just friends with me because of my body").
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/22 03:45 PM

Maybe you've been looking in the wrong places, or for the wrong men? Or maybe they just don't like you for your personality, and you assume it's because of your intelligence?

Idk if I do, I'm a virgin. But that's a very victim-blamey thing to say, as if sucking in bed is somehow justification for having your trust violated. Why not just expect a woman to not gossip about personal stuff? You're sounding like those "you don't need privacy if you've got nothing to hide" types.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/22 07:57 AM

I have trust issues, and you're not making it better. Knowing that women go blab about my personal stuff to their 'friends' makes it kinda hard to trust them.

Yeah, women here trying to psychoanalyse the reasons why men want virgin or low body count women, when the reason is very simple: For most guys, it's disgusting to imagine your lover with other men, past or future. Also, if a woman has a really high number, then what's the likelihood you're going to be the final number on the chain? Doesn't take a genius to understand how promiscuity might indicate that someone doesn't take relationships seriously.

By "follow the science" you mean "follow whatever I already believe", right? Because science says that you're wrong, and will continue to prove it. If you truly "followed the science", then you'd be more open to actually discuss the topic at hand. After all, science is great because it's continuously refined, coming closer and closer to the truth of the world. If you're not willing to even entertain the thought that your understanding of science could be incorrect, then you don't believe in scie…

It's called an analogy. Using the logic of "DNA is DNA", then genetically-caused near-sighted people should be considered to see badly even while using glasses or after eye surgery. "Uh, but I see well after my surgery. As good as anyone." - Says the previously near-sighted person. "Nuh-huh, you DNA says that you're blind as a bat, so you see badly and will never see better than that. Sorry, it's science!" Sex chromosomes just tell our body how to build itself. There's no reason to say that what…

Ah, got it. I've heard it before but never actually witnessed it first hand. Well, as we've previously discussed, there are women who can't give birth yet you'd still call a woman, so let's keep that in mind. The female genitals are analogous to the male (clitoris to glans, ovaries to testicles, labia to the penile raphe). Not that surprising, since all fetuses have the same starting point. Therefore, we can say that male and female genitals are similar organs arranged in different manners, which can already be re-arranged through surgery (and we'll keep getting better a…

I think we need to have more studies done about this topic before definitely deciding on anything. You can say that trans women are women and still acknowledge that they're different from cis women.

Some women are stronger than some men, and some women also can't give birth. I think science is a bit more complex than you're giving it credit for.

I wonder if a trans woman took puberty blockers and then went through a female puberty there wouldn't be enough of a physical difference to warrant segregation in sports. Who knows, maybe it'll be different for the next generation of trans athletes.
