You're more likely to get your money out of the cop who typically has liability insurance to settle these suits, and a decent bank account and income since he makes 6 figures on a police officer's salary. The cop is the one who decided to arrest and charge you wrongfully, and caused the most harm. Yes the girl told the lie and could be sued as well but you're less likely to get any money out of her if she's broke. Learn local court rules and look at your local bar association or legal aid for free legal advice. If she doesn't hire a lawyer and doesn't show up you'll win by default. Once you have a judgement, you can ask the court to freeze her bank account and take your winnings out of it. Whatever you can't get from that, you can garnish her wages.
