I don’t oppose the law. I’m pointing out the hypocrisy.

My counselor is a woman. I’m more comfortable talking to her than any of the men I’ve seen.

No, I’m not making excuses. I can barely take care of myself. I would be a horrible father. If I was 15 years younger I’d definitely want kids.

I’m not romantically interested in men. For me it’s just sexual attraction. My counselor thinks I’d do well dating a trans female, but I really don’t know about that.

I’m bi, but I can’t get up the courage to flirt with another guy.

And yet, all politicians can talk about is how much support families need right now. They’re falling all over themselves to give families more money. What about single people? We need help too.

Or get a vasectomy and keep it a secret. If she gets pregnant, you know she’s cheating, or the virgin Mary.

That’s why I got a vasectomy.

I’m 43 with no kids. I suffer from ADHD, chronic depression, and narcolepsy. I just had my fifth surgery this year. I DO NOT want to start a family at this point in my life.

I’m 5’5” and dating has been difficult for me. I’ve ended up dating mostly women who are taller than me. I don’t mind it, but it’s not ideal IMO. It really pisses me off when I see the profile of a woman who’s 5’ nothing and won’t date anyone shorter than 6’0”.

I have a friend whose wife left him while pregnant with their third child. She remarried within a year and they both have really good jobs. My friend’s underwater on his home, driving a broken down car, and his ex will continue to collect child support for another 15 years.

I don’t believe in women’s rights, men’s rights, gay rights, minority rights, etc. I believe in human rights. I believe that every person has the right to live their lives as they choose as long as they let others do the same.

Before my first experience I had done a lot of reading about sex and sexuality. I did my best to understand female anatomy and sexual response. I read a lot of first time experiences, both male and female. So for my first time I was prepared, but nervous. Fortunately, my girlfriend was very understanding and patient. Was it hard to learn? Not really, a lot of it is instinct. And as the Boy Scout motto goes, “Be prepared.” The basics are easy and learning how to please a partner is fun if you’re …

I got teased, pretty mildly, by guys when they found out, but absolutely scorned by a number of women that I told.

I didn’t lose my virginity ‘til I was 38. I got a lot of flack from men, but much more from women.

My last girlfriend was an ex stripper and wasn’t sure how many people she’d been with. Didn’t ever bother me.

I’m probably going to get downvoted to hell, but here goes nothing. I’d pay for sex if it was legal where I live. I’m personable, talkative in the right circumstances, and not unattractive IMO. Because of chronic health problems I’m home a lot and not where I can meet people. And online dating has been a complete bust for me. I crave touch and intimacy, is it wrong to deprive myself of that pleasure just because some people think paying for it is inappropriate?

Different strokes for different folks, no pun intended. I’m a skinny guy, I like petite women. We broke up because we both have mental illnesses. The relationship just wasn’t healthy.

I’m 5’5” and weigh 120lbs. My last GF outweighed me by 60lbs. She was pretty stocky and carried it well, but her weight really detracted from our physical relationship.

Why point out that guns are used in 50% of suicides? Preventing access to guns won't stop someone who's intent on taking their life.

Unfortunately, fear is the basis of law enforcement these days. Just a few examples: - TSA is a response to fear of terrorism, even though the chances of being the victim of terror is extremely low. - Officers shoot innocent people because they fear for their lives when, statistically, they're working in a relatively safe job. - Sex offenders are ostracized out of fear even though they're the criminals least likely to reoffend.

I remember being told as a child: "Never talk to strangers." That's actually stupid advice. If a child is lost or scared or alone, the smartest thing he can do is find a kindly looking stranger to talk to. The real advice is: "Don't answer strangers who talk to you first." The difference is important. In the first case, the child selects the stranger—and the odds of him selecting a bad person are pretty negligible. In the second case, the stranger selects the child; that's more dangerous. - Bruc…
