You added the "with no autonomy". But yeah, that's an important precision. Life is nice as a dependent whose autonomy is still safe.

Life is nicer when you are a dependent, when someone else takes the decision fatigue and the primary financial responsibility. Women have that option, so they want it. Men aren't asking for it because it isn't a perceived possibility for them.

Thanks! Humans forget they're mostly animals driven by primitive instincts and take themselves a bit too seriously.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/25 09:48 PM

How do you explain men like Moses from IT getting married and having kids? I see average couples all the time. There's no way they aren't attracted to each other. Where do you think that the common complaint about sex just disappearing after marriage and women having headaches when it is time for sex or sex being given as a goft during special days all come from? The average man isn't found attractive by his woman, she makes an effort till she gets a ring then stops and puts up with him occasion…

It is because whoever this describes tend to live like they are walking on eggshells and that attitude doesn't make friends or lovers. Just think about it. If you live life like you are walking on eggshells, you are less likely to approach the opposite sex, then you are less likely to be a good flirter since spontaneity is a strong pillar of good flirting, time spent with you won't feel like an adventure, and you may be shy in bed and most people don't like that. It isn't that bad people are inh…

I am curious where you get #1 from. Do you know about the dating life of two or three women?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/25 06:49 PM

I am a man and I totally understand you! Myself I am very slightly bisexual (i.e. attracted to women all the time and the love of my life is a woman, but have been attracted to a few men i.e. there are 3 men alive I wouldn't mind having sex with). But I don't go after these men simply because I understand that it would ruin it for my woman.

Women are truthful, they do want a considerate man. But well, we are talking about eros relationships, not platonic friendships, so the attractiveness filter should be implicit, it doesn't have to be spelled out. This post is just some nth reminder that dating problems are, at their core, social skills issues.

Why shouldn't I be?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/25 08:18 PM

No, but having plenty of sex with women and knowing many people who do and many people who can't gives you a big picture about women's attraction.

Experience: banging lots of chicks and knowing people who bang lot of chicks and people who fail to.

I disapprove of cheating. But OP has a point, the duty of sexual faithfulness makes zero sense without a duty to satisfy each other sexually. Imagine that growing up, your parents forbad you from eating anything outside, home was the only place you were ever allowed to eat, yet sometimes your parents didn't provide food at home whenever they didn't feel like it. No one would ever agree that this is a fair arrangement!
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/25 01:06 AM

I think that it depends on what we mean by "wild". If it's cheating on previous partners, I wouldn't advise trusting that. If it was just ONS, then it is possible, but you are betting on the individual's morality.

I am a man and he is totally delusional. There is no shortage of good men and also there's no shortage of men who will cheat for no reason. Same for women.

It isn't a fringe case at all. But still, it is sufficient to expose that your "two people together, so 50/50" thought is stupid.

Elon Musk marrying a random girl, yes that's the avarage case. 😄 /s That's a pretty frequent case actually. You think that Elon Musk married his IQ or talent match? How many extraordinary people do you know of who married their IQ or talent match? Even if Elon paid two h24 housekeepers, and his wife worked absolutely full-time with zero household load, the odds that his wife would have achieved his level of wealth is zero. That destroys your entire argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 05:25 PM

That's part of it, but I am sure that there’s more to it. I have always been sociable, and I naturally attract 7s and 8s, but the few times I paraded a 10 around, 10's and 9's started initiating flirts with me. That stuff is real!
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 01:24 PM
1

Well, I don't agree with that strategy. I rather believe in proactive vetting e.g. what is the moral compass of their friends, do they show a sense of doing what is right because it is the right thing to do, are they reasonable when cornered around their hot buttons, whom do they look up to, is there any figure of accountability in their life, do they still treat people right when it is convenient not to, etc...

you build wealth (or debt!) together, so it's only fair that the assets accumulated once marriage are split 50/50 after a divorce. That's such a stupid reasoning! Try to apply that reasoning to any business partnership. So you really believe that if someone like Elon Musk had married a random girl with an average IQ and no particular work ethic four decades ago, they'd build wealth together in any way remotely close to a 50/50 input?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 12:26 AM

That's a good idea but do people stick to their words, though?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 12:19 AM

I say that women want men who make more than them, you send an article about women wanting to work too rather than being housewives. And you really think that you are in-topic? Come on!
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/25 08:25 PM

The questions of this survey implied housewifing straight away. Women ideally want to work. They just want husbands who make more than them, they don't necessarily want to housewife for them.

I think that generally, "Chad" means "player", not just "attractive dude".
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/25 07:29 PM

That's what happens, not necessarily what women want. It is certain that most women want a husband who makes more than them; in a country where the gender earning gap is too small, most women won't get a husband who makes more, but that's what they wish for.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/25 07:21 PM

For me, it isn't a railing, I don't see it as a negative that women want men to be superior to them, it is more like a fact of nature to me and I actually like it. I just find it funny when some feminists try to deny the obvious.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/25 07:19 PM
1

You could have made a way better argument for this. Women want men who make more than them, are taller than them, are stronger than them, who can lead them, basically they want a superior partner not an equal.

So, there are people who don't know or don't think that the redpill has saved lives?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/25 09:00 PM

There's nothing wrong with what you call civilization collapse. A smaller population is a medium-term problem (senior burden, that will likely be solved by immigration and/or a bigger welfare state) but it is a long-term advantage. If too many people forsake some types of useful jobs, either technology will get invested to make them less reliant on labor or the wage for these jobs will grow so much that it will attract enough people again. Your whole complaint is a nothingburger. Now, if this is…

They don't ever like them, they just choose to tolerate them when they run out of time to pursue the ones they like.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/25 09:16 PM

That works if you want to keep paying for an endless string of hookups like this. But plenty of men want genuine love and an actual long-term partnership.

I am a man and I think nothing of that. I empathize with men who are worried about that; they are probably having trouble finding a mate and that's quite sad. But I am still 100% convinced that if you are a functional person, you will find a mate; so I think, it's a personal development issue, not some sort of actual societal crisis we should collectively worry about.

Hasn't been my experience at all. The old women gatekeeping sex and men gatekeeping relationships is still true all around me: I have yet to see a woman in marriage age find a marriage material man and decide not to commit still. I agree! All the women I friendzoned cancelled me. This shouldn't be a surprise, women's favorite drug is attention, of course they have an incentive to surround themselves with those who will give plenty of it for free.

Sure. But the problem is that some people become unhappy with their spouses when they get bored (even of a good partner who does everything for them), when they meet someone that they assume to be better, when their own hormones troll them, etc... Many cases where it is totally unfair to the spouse who has been loyal and excellent to them. Men generally leave good wives when they get adulterous i.e. meet someone they think is better. This unfortunately women have to worry about. And women someti…

In some cases, but that's off-topic. We are talking about the fact that they had some thoughtful social engineering.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/25 02:06 PM
1

Fair enough. But this post is a reminder that marriage typically isn't worth it; the woman could eventually get bored even if you are a good husband and wreck your life. Traditions and religions were led by smart people who figured out that for stability's sake, they should make divorcing on a whim costly. If you don't live in a society where asking for divorce on a whim is seriously punished, marrying is a terrible decision.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/25 01:57 PM

Agree. I can't understand why secular men marry at all. You could be good, and if she gets bored at some point, she could simply wreck your life. Same for religious marriages where the religious rules aren't enforced, it is a terrible deal.

A society where males are the by-default leaders. It means that if a kid is trapped in fire and a man and a woman are around, it's the man's job to fetch the kid. It also means that if the kid lost both parents and the man and the woman both adopt him, the kid will take the man's last name.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/25 10:43 AM

That's one of the reasons why I'm pro-patriarchy. People, both male an female, will always have more feelings towards protecting women than protecting men.

Yeah! As a male, I think that male complaints are mostly bla-bla-bla. How do you boast about women being the emotional gender while you are logical and then cry when your emotions are dismissed? How do you complain about social isolation when you aren't making any investment into socializing? The men in my life never had to complain about any of these simply because they chose to be normal, social people who vent to and emotionally unwind with their friends when they need to; the solution to mos…

Men want it to look normal, not uncanny. Bad makeup and bad surgery will make you look odd and men won't like that. But when it is well done, men won't notice and like it. Men also like at least as much when there is no makeup and no surgery at all.

No, most of the non-religious I know of run on extrinsic motivation as well. And even if we assumed otherwise, doing good to feel good, and doing good ti go in a good place, it is still the same quest for gratification at the end of the day. And that's how human nature typically works.

Sure, there can be, but that's only after some form of religion did the heavy lifting to get the masses onboard with pedestalizing good. All of the ancient world was given moral education in the form of religion.

I think that it is a (not the) be-all, end-all. Without sexual attraction, you aren't getting a relationship, you are getting friendzoned (male or female). Or you will get that relationship but the other is typically going to be lukewarm and you (the attracted person in the relationship) will feel miserable because of the dead bedroom or cold sex, the other will be more likely to cheat. Eventually, you are at much greater risk that they tell you someday "I am not feeling it" or "I don't feel hap…

I am a bit on the opposite end; had a quite difficult life that people would find "much traumatic" but still remained quite normal, quite well-adjusted, I blend in perfectly among people who had a soft life. The people who carry their trauma are the aliens to me, so you had bad chapters and now thanks life, you aren't there anymore but you choose to spend some more years of your good chapters ruminating the miseries of your past? Why would anyone want to do that to themselves?

What you are saying is the benevolence part. If you have made sure that your man is a genuinely benevolent person, and have had a great sex life with him, the day of your sickness, he isn't going you to give up on you.

/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 05:48 PM

But if you are exetremely slow burn, then you are missing the fun and flirt criterion. That would fit the list we are trying to debunk.

I think that girls are rather attracted by a masculine physique, fun/adventure skilled flirting and sexual tension buildup, which bad boys tend to have. But nice guys who have these are just as successful in dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 12:13 PM
-2

Hm, I disagree. There are many concordant experiences one really benefits from learning about. Everything is empirical; truths and sciences (both natural and social), engineerings, even arts and letters (AI has been proving that lately).
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 12:10 PM
2

Who is the wrong person, though? Won't that fall in line with something in the list e.g. a person who isn't physicslly attracted to you, or who isn't genuinely benevolent or altruistic?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 12:07 PM
2

Ok, I understand. It is true that vetting for the genuineness of benevolence takes time and isn't always obvious. You had to stick a couple years to notice his pattern of dropping friends, and it is hard to know whether the man isn't just love-bombing and will switch once he gets you. That's why it is harder for women to do the screening. Hopefully, you will successfully vet and find a good one next time, I wish you well.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 12:05 PM
0

Ok, so you don't just mean communication and trust, but you mean communication and trust and agreement on what's communicated. Then, I agree, yeah. If two honest people say honestly what they want, and they both agree on that, and deliver that, the relationship will succeed, that's for sure. Unfortunately, most men don't tell women when they aren't benevolent, and when they want reciprocation. And most women don't tell men how they want to be teased.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 11:59 AM
1

Genes are a suggestion, you can definitely tame yourself. I wish you well on your next relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 11:14 AM

Dud you vet his general benevolence before entering the relationship? The way he treats his own family, friends, community, whether he is the type of person to just look out for the good of people... Of course, I am not accusing you, we all made mistakes, I made worse mistakes. Just checking whether yours falls within the scope of that list.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 11:13 AM

What the first one said means that she loves you as a person but didn't feel the physical/sexual attraction. That's why she feels so guilty, she is turning down an angel, and is ashamed that you'd judge her as shallow for that. The 2nd one, I can't figure out what she is saying.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 11:09 AM

Well, but if we assume that the playbook is right, that's because not every woman is physically attracted to you, and has the same idea of fun and good sex as you. But I wager that for the ones who are physically attracted to you, and with whom you manage to have fun and good sex, doing everything else here typically results in success.

I have yet to see that pan out. I had a male friend in the same scenario but he chose his fiancee because he already had everything in her. I have also seen women passing on hot guys because they were already "full"; someone else even if not as attractive was already fucking them enough. I have yet to see anyone leave a relationship where everything is going right (or at least where they think that everything is going right) to pursue someone else, probably because you are going to start over an…

Erm, are you sure that strong communication and trust are enough? I mean, what if you communicate your emotional needs and the other person isn't emotionally available, so they just don't do what they should? When I said that I don't like absolute claims, I meant that I am not comfortable with them, part of me will restlessly want to find in them some hole to poke. I am very happy when I get one that resists much poking.

Actually, your relationship failed in one of the areas I listed: he wasn't good in bed. Also, what do you mean that you weren't compatible? (If it is something else besides the libido mismatch of course).
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 10:45 AM
2

The last two dates, were you flirty or did your fun and engagement carry a platonic vibe?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 10:44 AM
3

Oh, life plans compatibility, that's a biggie, I should have included that. But did you check everything else listed, though? In my little experience, people do mindblowing compromises when everything else is right. 2nd relationship, you failed one of the principles listed, you didn't create fun regularly. 3rd relationship, you are doing right now and it is working. Not much of a contrarian comment...

I guess so, but I am trying to get strictly empirical confirmation.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 10:37 AM

It isn't too different in non-Western countries. I grew up in one, and men there who were married in the 90s and beforehand generally believed that women are low-libido because for most of them, their wives were dodging intimacy all the time. That was a big topic in their versions of boomer jokes.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/24 10:36 AM

That's quite true generally now that I think about it. But the context of this conversation is sexual.

I can't speak on "men" and "women". But in a relationship between a good man and a good woman, the good man is the one doing the most. A good man simply needs his woman to just exist alongside and yield when he wants sex, that's it. Meanwhile, the good woman will want the man to give compliments, talk to her everyday, take her out, come up with activities, listen to her emotional rants, do random gestures that make her feel special, give gifts, play along when she wants some drama, and put her i…

I think that you are right on average. But it goes both ways, the average woman does the same sexual-wise. So many people, both male and female, want full commitment but too often won't give full lifetime dedication.

The problem is that this will be the typical experience of the average man because women typically aren't attracted to the average man.

There's a spectrum to empathy. Empathy is the ability to understand and share or mind the feelings of others. Men, like women, are really all over the spectrum of that. But in your post, it seems like you are talking about a generic "untrained" non-malevolent good man. Well, such a man can understand and mind some feelings (you gave examples in your post) but discard some others (e.g. the desire to just be listened to and feel understood, the desire to be made to feel special, the desire to have…

A submissive gay man is a female psyche-wise. It is indeed female to want to be conquered and owned by the strong.

It isn't just confidence, it is also that they know how to have fun, how to flirt and sexually tease, how to thrill women into the chase, etc... To a woman, they look like they will stir her into being horny forever and fuck them into oblivion without minding any taboo.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/24 10:50 AM

Oh, I see where you're coming from. That's a very valid need.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 04:25 AM

Should your lover necessarily be your equal, though?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 03:45 AM

I guessed so but I brought up knowledge because it affects the ability to relate with someone about as much. This said, I am more intelligent, but I am used to connecting with not-as-intelligent people regardless, I trained for that a lot, so that hasn't been an issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 03:07 AM

What's not for you? Dealing with a boring partner specifically or the very idea that we should embrace settling to increase our odds to find genuine love (as in mutual benevolence)? She sounds very restful to be with - and that’s no small thing. Exactly! That's so well worded!
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 01:59 AM

She is above-average smart. But there's still a practical gap because I had access to much more education, knowledge, and exposure. How do I manage that? I simply stick to the conversations we can both have, doing a bit of teaching daily, and the rest goes to colleagues and similarly educated friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/24 01:48 AM

You are right. But complaining about the other gender is also a good thing, each gender sets the standards for the other, it is a necessary fight for the next generations. I also want to add that most people struggle with processing tradeoffs and supply-demand; the child in us wants it all. Sharing my own experience, I am dating a boring woman: she can't hold a conversation, not just with me but everyone, she just answers when people talk to her, she has no drive or clue as to how to initiate co…

Gain some tax benefits, risk about half of your finances. Not a very good deal.

People who say "just leave" don't take into account that leaving has a huge cost. Imagine you merge firms with someone and they start misbehaving right after and everyone is like "well, just leave".

Great in theory, but people who withdraw sex are rarely good communicators. And leaving comes at a cost. It doesn't even make sense to marry if there's no obligation in the deal, how is that different from just a bf/gf relationship?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/24 01:28 PM

Thanks! That's very purple-pilled.

Everyday, I am more and more convinced that both genders just mirror each other. Anything men reproach to women, women can reproach to men, and vice-versa.

Being attracted to things you perceive as provocative It is the other way around. People are attracted to things. And when you accentuate these things, that's when it is called provocative. But you are right on fetishisation.

I didn't claim that it was for man's opinion. You claim that women dress to feel comfortable and that's obviously wrong, this did I point out.

Personally, a woman’s top would have to be pretty low cut for me to think that she was looking for any kind of attention I agree. Even then, I would suggest that conformity may be a possibility as well Active conformity is a subset of attention; that's looking for approving attention from peers.

I agree with that, but the level of the neckline most often tells whether one aimed to show one's breasts; there are a few centimeters between the base of the neck and that of the boobs.

You are right. But people get the wrong impression because biology made it so that you tend to like the kind of clothing that would attract male desire. That's nature trying to prop up our odds of survival as a species.

You are right. I am a man and I noticed this, it is quite easy to notice. For example, a lady made a video where she went around asking women what they would do if men suddenly didn't exist and the first response for most of these ladies was "I could roam around naked". When women get home, the first thing that they do is remove much of their clothing. If everyone understood this, maybe that would be quite a step forward. My guess is that we are so wired to seek reproduction, that wiring shows u…

It is only half-true. For example, what makes them feel good tends to coincide with stuff that's biologically attractive. Just one example, more ladies wear tight jeans than they wear baggy pants, because they "feel good" in tight jeans moreso than baggy pants. Yet baggy pants are more comfortable, tight jeans are generally more restrictive of movement. So where does that good feeling come from here?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/24 05:44 PM

I disagree with this. If this were true, most women wouldn't wear heels as they are very far from the most comfortable type of shoes. A lot of the tight jeans women wear aren't flowy and do restrict movement. Also corsets and stomach girdles wouldn't be a thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/24 05:38 PM

That's questionable. I can't think of any reason to show cleavage other than someone else's look. Like who'd make their clothing with flattering design around the breasts if they were all alone on an island forever?

I doubt that they'd even prefer them at that point. It's likely that the ones who aren't married past that age have enough experience to figure out that they have to put up with them.

Exactly! I have lived in Europe and Africa besides the US. And Americans are by far the most superficial for anything interpersonal. I wouldn't marry a typical American. I doubt that anyone who knows a bunch of other cultures would prefer an American-cultured partner. I know people who lived in Asia and America and they wouldn't disagree.
