I mean, I’m in the age group of women you’re talking about. It’s definitely true that in general, my age group is by far the most physically attractive, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that dudes aren’t exploiting the power dynamics of being with someone younger. Wouldn’t say age gaps are necessarily bad, but it leaves a lot of room for weird and controlling behaviors.

No need to wait for me, just re read your post a couple of times. There’s a reason you always respond to me last in your posts.

Not necessarily, it’d depend on a lot of things, I definitely wouldn’t take it personal, and would possibly keep exploring it, but, I think both of us would probably get bored as I wouldn’t budge and neither would she.

Yeah, definitely relate to this lol. This is just my norm, but I’m Gen Z and grew up in one of the largest American cities. I think it’s just a lot of socially reclusive types, people obsessed with morality, and religious ppl who say a lot of wacky shit in here haha.

Sure? not really sure what point you’re trying to make, it works for me and the women I’ve dated didn’t seem to mind at all. People should do whatever they’re comfortable doing. I don’t see why emotional intimacy and sexual exploration can’t happen in parallel, maybe that’s not the case for you? Communication matters, obviously, but compatibility isn’t just something you talk into existence. Some of it is experiential. If waiting is what makes you feel safe, do it!

I don’t commit to anyone before at least a month or two of getting to know one another. In practice, anyone who’s stuck around that long hasn’t wanted to wait, so that scenario isnt something I can relate to. I’ll take the hypothetical for fun tho. In theory, I’m not opposed to it as a value. Personally tho, I wouldn’t feel comfortable committing myself to monogamy with someone whom I haven’t determined sexual compatibility with.

So what you’re saying is, a person is incapable of simultaneously wanting a relationship with someone and desiring sex with them. And that, for an individual to want sex as one of the many pillars of their relationship, invalidates their desire for a relationship. This post honestly feels intentionally facetious LOL.

I think a big problem a lot of posters have here is that they’ll see a behavioral trend /phenomenon happening within certain subgroups and/or subcultures, and then essentialize it to all men or women.

Well, you’re arguing that testosterone has to little to no effect on a woman’s libido, not that women’s hormonal fluctuations and properties are different.

I’m more of less indifferent to the concept of “women needing us less”, but I do believe it, I believe women are just better at maintaining their relationships with friends, family, and wider social webs, lot of guys these days haven’t made a new friend since high school. So yeah, I’d say women are probably on average happier single.

Besides the amazing sensations, seeing her genuine enthusiasm for the experience and feeling connected/intertwined with one another, even if casual is still foundational to the fun of it. In sex work that part of the experience is completely stripped, which just kills the idea of it to me and seems like it provides a hollow experience, I mean, may as well just rub one out at that point. Also, aren’t reputable escorts ridiculously expensive, seems like you’re not really escaping the cost of seeki…

Lmao, how about just keeping your word, if you want pussy on the side tell her that, you’d be surprised how much more women will respect you when you’re honest about something that could jeopardize your position with them. Very pathetic philosophy here, and by the same logic, why wouldn’t a woman choose to sleep with a highly competent and successful man? Those men are even rarer than gorgeous women, should your girl be able to fuck exceptional men just because they’re rare?

In this specific case? No, I wouldn’t be interested n anything beyond a sexual connection if that what was she was bringing to the courting stage, it’s a turn off, but not a moral failing, I typically always have fuck buddies when I’m single, even if I’m seriously courting someone, but I feel like it’s one of those don’t ask don’t tell things, because if I figure that out it will just turn me off on a gut level and my mind will default to only seeing you as a recreational relationship regardless…

Haha this may be the dumbest shit I’ve seen on this sub so far, if watching porn and punishing illegal and anti social behavior are regarded with same moral weight to you, you’re an unserious person. Are you really assuming all pornstars are victims of sex trafficking? Have you ever actually spoken to someone who does sex work, or even done some research on the topic? Personally speaking, I would not formally be in a relationship with any woman I couldn’t see myself deeply loving and settling down with, in those cases, I am strictly monogamous(with an exception here and there), however, if I don’t have any woman in my life whom I feel that way about, I just casually date/sleep around, have fun, commit to one and do whatever I want whenever I want, as I see fit.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/26 06:33 PM

I agree, I think the only case in which open/poly dynamics work is if that was established from the get go and is the foundation of said relationship. I think, transitioning into non monogamy is probably one of the worst mistakes you can make as a couple, I’m sure there are exceptions to this though.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/26 03:51 PM

I don’t think this is true, most poly ppl I’ve met man or women would not clearly categorize themselves as straight

Are you in your 20’s? Maybe it’s just an age thing and my generation is loose, In my experience typically only women who have strong religious upbringings or have some form of social ineptitude are waiting months to have sex with someone they like. I’d also like to say, when I was single, I wasn’t only dating “promiscuous” women, or women who are super sexually active. I felt like, I was with a variety of kinds of people, and not all of them fell into the “promiscuous” category, and if they were…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 04:46 PM

Born and raised in America, in a top 3 city as well, most women I’ve dated wouldn’t even wanna wait a month to be intimate. Life moves too fast for that. Personally tho, I don’t necessarily have a timeline for sex, more so a timeline for expression of desire on her end, and that expression just so happens to be sex most of the time. Also, let’s say you were dating/getting to know a guy, if he was sleeping with women on the side, while you guys were getting to know one another, is that something …
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 04:37 PM

A month is immediate? Haha who’s setting that standard? To me immediate is the first time we see each other. Why do I feel like every one of your posts is just projecting your own dating practices on us.

What are we considering “immediate”?

This is based, and honestly, I’ve scored some pretty unexpected shots by being graceful and chill about rejection, like rejection isn’t even absolute, I’ve had women change their minds, or maybe they were just testing me haha, nonetheless, it’s all about having fun, creating safe environments for both parties and sharing cool moments, dating shouldn’t be so stressful or “optimized” just go out there and shoot the shit with pretty girls
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/26 04:34 PM

I don’t think wanting an attractive woman means you want a trophy, also I’m not old yet but if I was I can’t imagine dating someone around my age, wouldn’t even date a 19 year old and I’m in my 20’s lol
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 10:34 PM

You could apply to this anyone who isn’t at the very top of the hierarchy, This is such an uninteresting and lazy way of approaching the topic. If I said “You’re only alive because the state has not decided to kill you” I’d be technically right, but what are we achieving making that assertion, what is the actionable advice, what’s your next step? It’s just boring and achieves nothing, please do better.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 06:41 PM

Exactly, lots of dudes just assume any guy who can get women is going to have a roster until they die. News flash, even dudes who can get women enjoy companionship and fulfilling unions.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 04:02 PM

When I say weak dick, I’m not talking about size, although that does matter. And sure I guess it would, but I’m skeptical of those statistics, how does it determine whether or not they can orgasm, is it that they can’t, or that they just never have.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 03:52 PM
5

They’re lying, everyone likes to orgasm. The only ones who’ll tell you that are women with men who have weak dick.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 03:40 PM

On the flip side tho, people are much more honest when they don’t have a stake, or at least feel like they do. I actually feel like you can get some great nuggets and insights on the person in those first couple of meetings.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 03:35 PM
1

Yeah, why would I commit right away to just any girl if I can have most of them, and then I get to arbitrarily choose which one I want to take seriously after I’ve had my fun. OP, why WOULDNT I do that? What incentive is there for me to settle down right away when I could have my cake and eat it too. Are you saying it’s immature because the guy you wanted didn’t choose you? I sympathize with you, but this just seems like cope. Dating is competitive, and I think that bothers you.

This is kind of based but a bit too nihilistic, I have mixed feelings lol
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/26 10:17 PM

Personally speaking, I’ve only ever dated in the ‘casual to potentially serious’ way. I respect women who completely separate the two, but that way of dating wouldn’t work for me. I don’t see the incentive of doing all of the courting if I can court someone whose already on the same page as me sexually. Both of my LTR’s grew from a casual situation and I much prefer that way of dating. In my experience, women who completely separate the two tend not to weigh attraction as much as I’d like. I don…

Different perspective, being around women provides a nice polarity, a softness to life, it’s an energy thing, there’s a reason boys who grow up without a mother’s love are likelier to be anti social and cruel.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/26 03:24 AM

I’m not endorsing unspoken dynamics as some ideal, I’m pointing out that they exist whether we like it or not. A majority of human communication is non verbal, cues, behavior, escalation, pacing, not just explicit statements. Dating also isn’t a business negotiation or a contract. Attraction and desire don’t operate through checklists and verbal agreements, and pretending they should doesn’t make those dynamics disappear. It just ignores how people actually assess interest and bond in real life.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/26 12:18 AM

I think where I differ from you is that dating isn’t just people clearly stating intentions and behaving ethically from the start. There’s an unspoken negotiation happening, and most of it isn’t conscious. Men tend to test desire through escalation, women tend to test intent through pacing. That tension isn’t manipulation by default, it’s just different risk profiles interacting. This reads less like men despising relationships and more like your discomfort with that dance. For a lot of men, sex…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/26 12:08 AM

Man, every time I see your posts, you hit on something real, and that’s why they resonate. But I think you consistently talk past what intimacy actually looks and feels like to men. Not in a malicious way, just from a different lived perspective, and then strong claims get built on top of that gap. I don’t really think this post is about men misunderstanding women. It reads more like wanting men to self select out of the dating pool by adopting your pacing and framing of intimacy, without much e…

I don’t see sex and monogamy as intrinsically linked. Your approach is valid, but it’s too binary for me. Connections can exist outside commitment, and pretending sex is emotionally neutral doesn’t make it so. When I said “make her care,” I should’ve used different language. Attraction and attachment aren’t things you manufacture. You show up as you are, and people decide for themselves what they feel. As long as expectations are clear, adults are allowed to engage knowing that emotions might de…

Not saying you "ought" to do anything, and I don't think two people caring for each other in a non-committal arrangement is evil at all, so long as both parties are honest. I was just responding to your point about “her not caring about you if she only wants sex”, which can be and is true a lot, I just think, as a man, you've gotta lot of room to wiggle if a woman desires you in that way.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/26 10:12 PM

True, but if she wants to have sex with you there’s a solid chance you could make her care for you. That’s been my experience, not so much on the contrary though.

Yeah I’d say unwilling to be selfless and or eat a little shit for you to be happy, even in times where money was tight, I always made something work, even if it set me back a week or two. Obviously tho this has to be within reason, or else it’s just financial incompetence lol.

Good post, I agree with most of it, anyone who doesn’t acknowledge men are far more dangerous than women is intellectually dishonest or sheltered to the highest degree. Not sure I’d ever buy into the “men are worse” idea though. Ultimately, I believe that men typically do the “worst” much more than women, things like murder, rape, theft and etc, however, these things in and of themselves are exceptional actions and do not represent men on any population level(as far as the US). I believe if you …

If your only goal of socializing is to fuck, then yeah you’re probably right. There’s a lot more to gain from good conversation and new connections than some pussy.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/26 06:09 PM

You’re asserting a lot very confidently without actually backing it up. There isn’t solid data showing “most women stop after two hookups,” that number seems pulled from intuition, not research. Validation also isn’t synonymous with low self-esteem, it’s a baseline human drive, socially healthy people seek it all the time, including you, I promise you’re not an exception. If we’re going to critique generalizations, the same standard will apply both ways.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/26 07:14 PM
2

I think you’re reading “payoff” as a moral justification, thats not what I’m saying. I’m using it descriptively, whatever someone expects in the moment whether it’s attraction, validation, novelty, curiosity, intimacy, etc., even if they later regret it. Framing casual sex as only something women do out of low self-esteem, manipulation, or coercion actually removes a lot of women’s agency, which I don’t think is accurate.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/26 06:19 PM
2

I think desire, behavior, and regret are getting conflated here. Some women regret hookups, sure, but that doesn’t mean desire wasn’t present at the time or that women broadly dislike casual sex, it shows that context and payoff matter more. And It feels less like women want sex less, and more like they’re more selective about when acting on said desires.

Hmm, maybe I’m too informed by own experiences and those around me, but in my college years and even afterwards up until I got in a relationship, hookups were very accessible, and was more or less the default relationship dynamic until of the two parties realize it’s either going somewhere or it’s not, and I don’t view myself as a “chad”, this was the case for my most of my friends too. And most of the women I know aren’t in relationships, they just have a couple guys they fuck here and there. F…

I think a lot of your points are based and true, but I think women love sex just as much as men if not more, and are just as much into hook up culture as men are, if they weren’t, we wouldn’t even have a hook up culture, there are just typically more barriers of entry because of the inherent risk of being a woman in a sexual encounter.

I find older men to be much more grounded and realistic about dating, yeah some of it is outdated, but there are absolutely nuggets of wisdom in there, like with ANYONE else, you don’t take it at face value and determine what you can extract from it to make your life better. No I don’t think they’d go away, hate to be that guy who sounds cucked but men need to learn how to be in their feminine more and women need to be accepting of it. I don’t mean feminine as in being more submissive or flamboyant, but in all of us exists a polarity of feminine and masculine energy, jung explored this through the anima and animus, I believe men tend to swing in the extremes of these two “entities” that exist in us. Pretty based take, although I don’t think it accounts for human beings having an inherent need for connection outside of the platonic, don’t necessarily agree with your take on “men could just Masturbate all day” we all know it’s an extremely cheap dopamine hit and leads to nothing substantive.

I think psychologically this is true, as in men and women both share many pitfalls of the human mind albeit it typically manifests differently, but the reality is that men have much more capacity for violent acts coupled with the male physiology just makes for far more dangerous men than dangerous women. And that definitely counts for something. I agree with the sentiment to some degree though, but even with conceding the fact that both genders share the underbelly of human psychology, women ten…

Very rare, 99% of red pill I’ve met and known are such losers it’s laughable, nihilistic with no drive for anything. Only dudes who have been “organically” red pilled are like this. Typically very attractive or womanizer dudes who have seen the worst of women.

Lol red pillers love essentialism, it’s a dog shit ideology that has bits of truth and preys on weak and insecure men with no direction in life. This is coming from someone who used to be obsessed with it as a teenager. It is a devolved way of thinking, that leaves no room for individual thought and at its core pines for the attention, validation and affection from women, very beta unironically.
