I think it comes down to this: The right, for all of its flaws, does like men. There are issues with traditional male expectations, but in general the right actually likes that we exist. The left hates men. They don’t even try to hide it. And it gets worse. The left seems highly against any perceived benefits of being a man - while simultaneously ignoring, or even advocating/mocking the downsides of being of a man. This is a problem. It’s hard to side with a large group of people that openly hat…

This has been my life experience…and the crazy part is that I actually can fight. I just don’t like to. If I don’t fight or defend myself against these transgressions I’m viewed as weak. If I do fight and beat the piss out of someone I’m viewed as the angry asshole who needs to control his temper. Being the goofy, chill, laid back dude kinda sucks. I like being me…I try my best to be me. But for whatever reason dudes fuck with me for no apparent reason. I’ve never understood it.

So because a guy gets tired of getting disrespected, fucked with, dismissed, and/or looked down upon - this means they are trying to gain maximum benefit? Idk…some of us just want our natural personalities to be enough. Being yourself sounds great, in theory. But it gets old when being yourself just gets you dismissed and makes you a target for people.

Yeah, that’s like saying Sub Saharan Africans have the same access to food as the rest of the world. After all - they do occupy the same planet! They have legs, arms, and breathe air too!! Bootstraps…..just, bootstraps. It’s all equal. It’s all the same.

I agree. They are not a victim from the standpoint of dating. The victimhood part is how society (men and women) get a free shot at constantly ridiculing and insulting these guys whenever, however, and for whatever reason they feel like. It’s low hanging fruit to insult a guy for not being able to get women. And it’s becoming a comeback for almost anything a person can say.

Yes…this is where the right goes wrong with men. Outdated shit like this is a bad viewpoint and harmful. It’s ignorant as fuck. But I will say this…it’s actually based on what the right would consider love and appreciation for what are considered male traits of sexuality. I don’t agree with it…but these guys would buy that kid beer, and joke with him about how lucky he is - which is stupid as fuck. But it’s not hate. It’s not really the same as telling young boys and men of all ages that they ar…

Come on people. Politics isn’t your entire identity. You don’t have to distort facts and info on a movement you care about to somehow fit your beliefs into what you think your party wants. This is nonsense. The only reason I come here is because the other pro-men forums lean too far into red pill territory - which, THAT is generally a Republican viewpoint. But misandry is generally the left and it’s clear as day.

What are y’all talking about? It is almost entirely the left who is openly pushing hatred toward men. Republican men and women actually appreciate and generally like men… This is embarrassing. There is a ton of shit about the right wing that I hate. But make no mistake - misandry isn’t one of them. It is the left that essentially assigns zero value to men and teaches our youth and young men that they are bastards who should walk around in shame and feel guilty over being male.

Wow…are you actually downplaying the lefts hatred toward men because, at its core, you think the fundamental concept of hatred is right wing? No…just no. It is almost entirely the left who openly display pure hatred toward men. The right wing may go a bit far with “be a man” shit and contribute to us being disposable, replaceable bodies that are strictly valued for our production… But the right actually likes men. They just believe we have a purpose (even if I disagree with that purpose). But th…

No…a lot of us don’t want that. Do you not actually pay attention to anything we’re saying here? We do it because most women seemingly require if - even if they’re feminists, strong and independent, etc. Most of us are here because we’ve HAD TO become that to have success with women, whether it’s in a family capacity, relationship, or even for brief flings. We’re here because despite the new trend of women saying they want a wan who shows emotion - any of us that actually HAVE shown that emotion…

I applaud you for handling all of that with ease. Some people (hell, maybe a lot of people) can do it and it’s just normal. But it’s not like they for everyone… Also, your kids are in high school and college. Mine are kids, including a baby. I work nights and stay home during days to take care of the baby to avoid daycare - that’s basically a 5am - 11pm full time parent/work shift 3 days a week, plus 5am - 5pm Thursday/Friday. Factor in my off day from dad duty, that’s 82 hours a week and child …

Sometimes we’re baited into something a bit different…than it’s “be this, be that, achieve this and lead!!!!” Or were told to move out, fuck off, lose custody and pay child support. Again, it’s more complicated that you’re making it…

Men aren’t the ones that claim to be great leaders…our wives and families expect it from us and often don’t talk about it until we’re a mortgage and 2 kids deep with a mound of debt and a wife with spending problem… I don’t want to be all of that. My marriage, house and living under the same roof as my kids depends on it. It’s not as easy as some want to think it is…and I’d never say this out loud around anybody except my closest friends, so most women will never actually hear this from us.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/24 12:42 AM

That’s the thing…fortunately, I am strong. How strong though? Just barely strong enough to provide an upper middle class upbringing, instill work ethic and strength in my kids (while also being fun), support my wife mentally/financially, while continuing to achieve more in the workplace and stay in decent shape… Any my god it’s fucking exhausting and takes everything I have. And despite all that, I’ll lose respect from my wife and get treated like a weak pussy if I show any signs of distress fro…

As a married man with two kids and a mortgage - more than you know. Starting a family means that we are now required to show no emotion in front of wife/kids, provide all costs, and basically make sure my wife and kids have a great life even if it means having nothing for myself. I used to be like you. I argued with people about this shit most of my life. Met a woman that I thought was NOTHING like that. 13 years, 2 kids and a mortgage later and it was just posturing and slowly pushing me into a…

No we don’t…hence the reason we’re talking about this on some shitty Internet forum instead of real life. To the contrary, we draw as little attention as possible to this because nobody gives a fuck.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 11:09 PM

And why are you talking about bears? Nobody said anything about a damn bear… I’d rather be with the bear than a woman, too. That way I don’t have to give her food, carry her through the woods and be expected to help guide her out of the forest. Also, the “other men” thing…other men are the main target of the shitty portion of men who does that shit. What, you think we just bring it in ourselves. That’s what y’all don’t get…other men don’t like the shitty men that cause most of these problems eit…

The prison system is over represented by men. I want equal sentencing and equal treatment for crimes. Careful how you respond to this - if “over represented” applies to some demographics but not all, than it’s just a bullshit cop out. Nurses don’t get electrocuted, crushed into pieces, burned alive, severed limbs or end up permanently hobbled - 90% of workplace deaths are men, doing jobs that most women would never apply for. Seriously, try harder… Women expect us to be protectors…true feminists…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 11:01 PM

My above post has examples of that. Prison system, violence of women on men being okay, men doing backbreaking shit while our society continues to create education/corporate opportunities for women, men being the protectors, women can get an abortion but we’re stuck with child support, people care about women’s feelings but don’t give a fuck about ours, etc. There are plenty of examples where men have it shitty but it’s just expected. Society wants to fix the things shitty for women, but we’re j…

Lol who said that? Obviously women should have rights…obviously. Men just shouldn’t have to sacrifice ourselves mentally, physically and financially to create an entirely different set of society standards that benefit only women, while simultaneously grinding us down. Alimony, child support, child custody, 9:1 workplace death ratio, being a provider, “women first”, 300% higher suicide rate, putting ourselves in harms way to protect an equal being, etc. Those are favorable scenarios, not rights……

Nobody said that. We’re just saying that, for some reason, our female partners success comes at a huge price in how WE ARE treated. I spent a lot of years altering my work schedules and being a very supportive husband while my wife tried to climb the corporate ladder - and I was happy for her. Until I realized the hatred it brought toward me. Maybe it’s the other way around - maybe when women succeed they start to treat their partners more shitty and beat us down for not being good w oily - whic…

I can’t agree with that at all. As a married man, my entire life revolves around being the emotional/financial support system for my wife. As for men feeling bad about themselves when their partner achieves success. Women expect us to be strong, confident and successful while showing little to no negative emotion. So when men don’t achieve, maybe we subconsciously know our partner will lose respect for us? That’s what happened to me… At times when my wife had a better career, made more money, mo…

Not a great response. It’s embarrassing when men do it, and equally embarrassing when women do.

True. The feminine version is breaking a glass plate, throwing a vase at the wall or slapping your man across the face because you can.

The modern “50/50” household chores split that involves dishes, laundry, floors, etc…but still expecting men to maintain the yard, the vehicles, protect the house from intruders, lift the heavy shit, build shit, maintain shit, and basically handle any task that can result in bodily harm.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
