Same. I'm in my mid thirties, I have already had my kids and a marriage/abuse/divorce. My current partner isn't keeping up his end of the bargain. When this relationship ends, I am done with men forever. Literally forever. I would rather spend my time and energy doing anything else

No remember, men love to tell on themselves. They love to talk about themselves, especially the bad ones. You don't have to get a man to talk about his past relationships, he will do it ad nauseum. You just politely draw your boundary, and when the conversation shifts to him, let him talk. They can't help themselves

You can just draw a boundary and say "oh, I prefer not to discuss my past relationships"

Mary is a Smurfette. The sole woman in a large group of only male "friends." She's the penultimate pickme, and it sounds like she has her fair share of mental health struggles as well. I pity her, as a human being, but I feel like she's a pretty despicable example of a woman. It sounds like she's passed herself around the male friend group, and destroyed multiple marriages in the process. Always be suspicious of Smurfettes. I have known a few of these types and literally every single one of them…

Uh no. As a white woman, let me say that I feel uncomfortable at best, frightened at worst, when any man catcalls me. I don't care what color he is.

Ugh this crap was all over the place when I was in highschool in the 00's. Girls got that stupid bunny tattooed on themselves as soon as they turned 18. I never understood the appeal.

My ex husband was similar. Question, did yours like to keep his friends, acquaintances, and family members compartmentalized? Separate from each other? Like, was he reluctant to say, have everyone mingle at a party etc? Mine was and I realized it was because each person had a fastidiously curated version of "him." Ex didn't want people to be able to meet and compare notes. Years after my divorce, I reconnected with some of his family members and we learned that we had each been told all kinds of…

There's literally an entire subreddit dedicated to videos and stories of women being beaten. They laugh about it and say shit like "justice served." It's insane.

Exactly. OP, if all you had to eat was lackluster PBJ sandwiches every day, you'd lose interest in eating. We are swimming through a sea of LVM. I think it's normal to just completely lose interest. I'm 35 and over it lol

It's not about fair or unfair, just facts. HIV is more prevalent among gay men and it varies by racial demographic as well https://www.cdc.gov/hiv/statistics/overview/ataglance.html It is very important to know if your man is screwing other men

Hurricane lasts a day or two, usually. Some will sit for longer. And then you've got flooding, downed power lines, contaminated water with boil advisories, etc. People in hurricane paths need a minimum one week supply of food and water stocked.
