Yes but if you can answer her questions, you've got a conversation going, my friend. I'd go for things like what they are wearing or maybe location. It could be even more simple, "You were smiling. Only people I know who smile like that are friendly... or up to something." And now we have a game.

Booze confuses my mind and makes me forget what I would normally think is impossible. Yoda was an alcoholic.

It was the name of the OP. Not sure why no one bothered to answer you for missing the joke...

Anyway, I thought it was an interesting question and wondered what OP would say to it. Seven years is a long time and he seems to have loved her, seems reasonable that they could have married in that amount of time.

Well maybe it's more "that's what she wanted to do." And probably because she feels like "that's what people do." I think women are more likely to get shit for not getting married than men. Anyway, if he was with a girl for seven years, loves her, and wants to be with her for the rest of his life... why not get married? It would make her happy and it doesn't really affect you; given nothing really would change in the way you want you life, right?

Also, don't major in liberal arts. UNLESS you have a pretty good idea of what job you are getting when you are done.

There are certain things about myself I would not change for any woman. I think he is aware that he will be more effective without the turban. That's not the advice he's looking for... not that I have any good ideas to help him out. Approach and talk about why he's wearing a turban; I imagine many woman would be curious.

I just wiki'd turbans and they list a fair number of non-religious reasons to wear a turban. I honestly did not think it was religious, but I don't have any close friends that wear turbans to ask.

It still could be culturally meaningful to him. Ideally he probably wants to be with girls that are OK with him AND his background so he's looking for ways to make that search easier.

It could be a cultural thing and not religious. OP did not state his reasons why he does not wish to give up the turban. Just point out the whole "don't judge a book by its cover" thing.

It mostly bothers me simply because I can't remember half of them and I don't really see the point. As if they did not have enough time to write out whatever it means. Any given group will eventually develop a type of slang though, so you will likely just have to get used to it. I would agree with you that part of the community's negative reputation comes from that type of labeling, regardless of the author's actual intent.

Still a win if all the rest of the list is shit he wants to do.

Why are you so curious? Are you always so interested in how other people are trying to improve themselves?

They complain that they would need to change who they are in order to be successful. I enjoy that line because you make it clear to be true. Start with that one, telling them the first thing they should change is complaining about it.

No, she's lying. She's clever and is supposed to lie; that is the game. So she does. She has never played the game before, she is just saying she has to win the game.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
