I agree, that is why you need to develop your "unique self" by reading and implementing different principles from different books. For example, in this book it emphasizes that you need to smile more. To me that's true, but another book further expands that principle by saying that you need to give a sort fo unique smile to each person and only smile after 1-2 seconds of making eye contact with them.
