Yeah man. Those dating roles been around since the literal stone ages 😂

Grass ain’t always greener as they say.

Cool. Thanks for the insight.

Except who's telling men to beg to get women?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/26 08:06 PM
2

My point was that if they truly thought men's overall position was better, you'd expect far more women to voluntarily take on the dating role men have. This is exactly what I mean. You keep circling this argument around just dating, but you don't expand it beyond that. Bringing up harassment doesn't make that point disappear. It does when men, as a collective, rarely ever get sexually harassed and heckled on the street by total strangers on the regular for just existing. How many times have you …

Yet of that 929, the majority of men in that group admitted to not having any intimacy with anyone anyway?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/26 02:58 PM

You keep framing this in a dating aspect, not an everyday aspect. A duh women have a slightly easier time with dating, that’s nothing new. What women are saying is that being out in public and having some random stranger follow you for no reason. Sit next to them on the train when the car is empty. Overall, society just being weird around them for just being women. As a guy when was the last time you’ve been followed, badgered to give up your phone number to a stranger? Had someone invade your p…

Beggars can’t be choosers, as they say.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/26 12:34 PM

This is an interesting take but tis framed from an experience of feeling invisible.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/26 12:32 PM

More attention IS a double edged sword though.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/26 12:29 PM
1

What? 😂 lady you’re good. You have your partner and a kid on the way like what 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/26 12:26 PM
2

Pros and cons. Pros Feeling invisible gives you peace of mind: no random stranger is up your ass or demanding your attention/phone number etc from you. I can walk around outside and have the expectation that no one would approach me for anything cuz no one is interested to. Con: Obviously feeling invisible means on social situations you have to try a bit harder to get to know people since people don’t ever initiate with you.

If you’re a guy who dates frequently it’s the same deal. But that life isn’t cracked up to what people think.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/26 12:12 PM

Didn’t a recent study show that Gen Z women are partnered up more than Gen Z men? That’s not anecdotal.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/26 12:11 PM
1

We just gonna conveniently leave out the other side of the coin in which those celeb guys are celebs and got hella money and these women just go with it for that? It a 50+ women celeb with hella deep pockets and multiple houses was checking me out, why would I NOT want to deal with her?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/26 12:09 PM
1

Like I said being “valuable” is a double edged sword. It’s primarily the reason women face everyday challenges that can turn deadly cuz society treats them liken rare Pokémon to be captured and controlled. Edit: no. Men run the world bruh. In what capacity do you feel useless? Is it by some chance you’re suffering from depression?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/26 12:04 PM
2

Nope. Having intrinsic value is a double edge sword, the world treats you like a commodity.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/26 12:00 PM

And here I am saying my powers would be to supply food for everyone 🥴

So decentering women? It does have great benefits in the long run for men without a doubt, but be strategic with it. It is okay to pursue a woman if you like her; most prefer it that way, regardless of what you see and hear online. The issue really stems from when you’re pursuing someone who isn’t interested, which a lot of men have encountered. Obviously, the fix in that is if you’re not getting anywhere with your advances, just move on lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 09:27 PM
1

Okay.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 06:43 PM
1

I’m not doing that at all. Your analogy literally sums up my original post.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 06:35 PM
1

I ran into this a lot on this post. At this point everyone knows it’s a problem, we constantly talk about it being a problem, but that’s how far the discussion goes. Just vent with no real solutions to present. When we do discuss realistic solutions, ppl immediately realize that it’s nowhere near as simple as “we need to stop the bad men.”
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 06:24 PM
3

You’re a clear cut example of what I mean lol
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 06:03 PM
2

Like I said, but are on the same page, but it’s only seen as dismissive when a man says it, not when a woman says it.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 05:31 PM
-1

No. You’re taking a statement about patterns and pretending it’s a statement about every individual. Nope. I was saying that both men and women are on the same page when they say this phrase; however, when men say it, it seems dismissive, but when women say it, it's about nuanced.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 03:58 PM
1

It’s broad but we can focus on the most pressing issues. So what issue do you think is the most pressing that we need to shed light on?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 02:43 PM
3

It can be plethora of reasons behind such behavior. We’ll also need to examine every individual incident too. Not a clean cut easy feat in the slightest.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 02:42 PM
0

Why would your solutions be hypothetical? Isn’t the entire point here to tackle them and see change in the real world? What’s a major problem facing women that is directly caused by men? We don’t need a list, we just need to focus on the most pressing issues at hand.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 02:30 PM
5

So how do we go about doing the work to reduce bad men from hurting people?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 02:28 PM
-1

Okay. I see. That’s a good explanation to this phrase. Now that we’ve established that communication, what solutions would you like to see put into place to tackle these issues?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 01:22 PM
7

😂 be real. How in the world did you misconstrue this into me saying “well how can men who aren’t bad benefit?” Benefit from what?? Where are you getting this from? What connotation lead you down this way of thinking?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 01:20 PM
2

Where in my comment did I make this a ME issue? Aren’t we discussing ways to mitigate and reduced the impact of bad men’s behaviors?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 01:14 PM
1

Okay. So how does that always the man alter the meaning? What objective is it trying to achieve?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 01:11 PM
1

So what do you think can be done to address these issues?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 01:09 PM
-8

Both have the same exact meaning though. It’s just women added that extra emphasis to the phrase. So we know it’s not all men but it’s men anyway. Great. So what are some solutions?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 01:08 PM
5

I already proved this by advancing the narrative beyond the phrase itself. So do you want to advance the narrative or continue the same looping discussion over the phrase? Which is more important to you?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 01:02 PM
3

But the issue is broad. Bad men doing bad things is not a simple task to tackle, I agree. But what issue in particular in this argument would you like to see tackled and have more light shed on?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 12:56 PM
8

We can talk about bad men doing bad things all day long. The question is, when are we gonna discuss any real solutions to that broad problem of some men behaving badly?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 12:51 PM
1

I bet that percentage is surprising higher than we’d expect.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 12:22 PM
2

Yes, that’s my argument, because I’ve seen it way too many times. These dudes don’t change until they get too old to mess around. By that point they’ve always messed around to cause significant emotional harm to the women they cheated on.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/26 02:44 AM
3

Because those sort of men are fuq bois, they don’t give af. You can warn ladies not to deal with them and there will ALWAYS be one who inevitably does knowing full and well that dude is crazy. Like I said I’ve seen it. I’ve seen women literally chose a dude fresh out of prison for abuse and it’s like the tragedy writes itself.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/26 11:44 PM
2

You’ll think, but for some reason these sort of men are like catnip to these women. I seriously do feel like the women who chase these men truly believe they’ll just magically exist in some untouchable area where these guys’ problematic behavior somehow wont affect them.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/26 11:41 PM
5

I hate to say this but, man, I’ve seen it happen over and over again; it’s like the guy women warn each other about constantly hooks up with another woman 😂 like wtf.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/26 11:38 PM
1

Good. Those are steps. Change doesn’t happen overnight. Routine doesn’t occur overnight. Trying new things takes time.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/26 05:51 PM
4

I feel this. But here’s the thing: there was a Reddit thread where women talked about guys that they’re dating or who are their partners who don’t wipe after themselves. Somehow guys who don’t even bother taking care of themselves are getting partnered up in a world where women had more options than ever 😂

Weight loss is a journey. You gotta change your diet and work out 4 times a week for months sometimes years nonstop to see tangible results. Fixing feelings of loneliness is no different. It requires you to step out of your comfort zone and try new things. What’s keeping you from attending those events? Lots of ppl attend events solo.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/26 03:00 PM

I like what one commenter here said, there’s a gulf of social skills that were largely glossed over by a lot of ppl growing up. Today’s world what I noticed is that very few ppl initiate anything, so if you aren’t actively getting involved in something, you won’t get anywhere. I was out at a bar and just saw a whole table sitting on their phones lol. Phones don’t judge, that’s why ppl are glued to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/26 02:56 PM
1

Huh?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 10:12 PM
3

It definitely is one… online. Fortunately, it doesn’t exist in the real world.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 07:39 PM
2

Is it also anecdotal to mention the dozens of women who’ve been caught having inappropriate interactions with children?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 07:35 PM
2

Same reason there are posts here saying men want “princess treatment,” the gender war is a circle.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 07:33 PM
4

Of course men outpace women in violent crimes. You don’t need data to know that. What I find interesting is that whenever a woman is engaged in violent acts it’s suddenly “anecdotal.”
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 07:25 PM
1

Ah duh. Have you read literally anything I wrote 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 06:15 PM

Cuz of societal norms. Being a sitter is a woman dominate role, same reason OBGYNs are shifting toward more women in the field than men because women OBGYNs are preferred. It’s a preference based on familiarity not cuz “men= bhad.” Also Those same women sitters are also thoroughly vetted, they aren’t just hired for being a woman alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 06:05 PM
2

Easily higher than you might expect. There was a story I randomly stumbled across about a messed up private group that tortured and maimed animals, mainly monkeys. One of the biggest torturers was a woman in the UK. Crazy ppl aren’t just exclusively men.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 05:56 PM
7

That’s exactly what I said, just with a more levelheaded way than how you put it. Women also get caught doing inappropriate things with children. There’s like 3 every week in the news caught “having sex” with a minor, it’s just never treated as an epidemic nor a big deal. There’s gonna be three next week after this and the week after that. It usually be a poorly written, too paragraph long news article about it and then it’s forgotten. It’s just the world is blinded by the halo effect of women. …

This all only works for women because women are pursued by men and generally more desired in society than men. A woman’s agreeableness plays a factor in elevating her social prospect for sure. Women like women who are social and men like social women. The sociability of men is more scrutinized than it is in women, because they’re men. Society has its guard up around men, and anything he says or does is met with initial skepticism. Women don’t necessarily face that same threshold of skepticism, s…

So the argument here is ppl aren’t obvious about in displaying their emotional depth or something? Or ppls inability to read the room? I can say with utmost certainty that this isn’t a gender thing. Ppl click with who they click with, often times because they feel comfortably doing so.

One thing you failed to mention in your observation is that it’s just trash dealing with trash lol. Do I really care the hoodlum dude pulled a hoodlum chick? Nah lol. At the end of the day we already know how this ends. They both get cooked. You mad the biker dude pulled the local crazy chick on meth? Bruh you ain’t missing anything but a headache or worse. The reason “normal dudes” aren’t pulling is because y’all swimming in the wrong pools. Just do you’re think, dress nice, be comfortable in y…

But guys here aren’t willing to admit this. No kidding. Look where you're at lol. And if we’re going off of the OkCupid study and other studies, men heavily care about looks when it comes to dating. They just sacrifice their looks standards if an ugly chick sucks them off faster. Yeah, dudes aren't picky at all lol. Men would deal with just anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/26 05:59 PM
2

Eh, you DO have to be a bit careful with ANY sort of romantic advice. But men and women have the same general idea, its just the scope is different. Men, we like a broader range of women. We often willingly date large groups of women. Anything that isn't horribly obese, badly disabled or mentally disabled is a green light for us. That's like 90% of women. So when we talk about women we like, we're talking about a broad scope of them. For women, that scope is narrower than men's. Plus, the things…
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/26 05:50 PM

They shouldn't do this at all. That's a quick and easy way to get played.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/26 05:30 PM

Yup. This is true. What really defines a person is one who understands engagement and how to socialize. You can read novels or do woodwork all day and still be dry as a rusty nail lol. A lot of people don't actually like sharing their hobbies, either out of fear of being judged.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/26 05:29 PM

Hobbies help for sure, but socialbility, the ability to be present and open and welcoming, goes much further. Tons of ppl enjoy hobbies that they don't exactly like to share with others. It all depends on how comfortable they are sharing it.

What does irritate me are guys who go on and on about “dating is not worth it” but keep trying to date while acting mad they’re not getting what they want out of it. You do realize this is absolutely not just a male thing, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/26 04:42 PM
1

While I agree, that example is vanilla lol. That's just being rude. Socially, I do believe that men have a steeper incline to scale than women, for sure. Case in point: no one really makes a fuss over a socially awkward woman compared to man. A woman's socialbility isn't really held against her as much as it is toward men.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/26 04:19 PM

What, nah? LOL. I don't get this internet fad of being alone =doom and bad. It's not. You can be surrounded by people and totally alone. You can be in a relationship and feel alone. Being single is easily the most freeing thing ever. You can do whatever you want, no compromising, etc.... it gives you time to figure out who you are often times better than being in a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/26 04:15 PM

lol, fair enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/26 01:44 PM

A guy tweaking out on a bus, yeah welcome to the big city. Cat call dude was bad for sure tho.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/26 01:43 PM
1

The thing is there’s no real rule to social interactions. You absolutely can speak to anyone you want, there’s no law against it. That’s what the guy is arguing. In fact I feel more ppl are open to socializing cuz a lot of ppl do crave it.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/26 01:38 PM
1

Sooooo, basically just based off context and setting? You just explained why the man v bear was just about isolation and strangers not necessarily the dangers of men. You face a bear in a coffee shop and it’s a totally different story.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/26 01:34 PM
1

The guy in the bus just seemed like a tweaked tbh.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/26 01:32 PM

😳okay… I’ll just see myself out…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 04:40 PM

🤣 what is this graphic from, Quake? Anyway, nah, nah. It’s none of those things you mentioned. It’s literally me just being me. I like going out, I like approaching and talking to people. I attend events and concerts regularly. I enjoy traveling. I do all this with an income nowhere near 6 figures. What’re you doing to better yourself at dating?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 04:33 PM

You want honesty on the internet? Good luck 🫡
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 04:26 PM

I hear ya.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 04:26 PM

Of course anyone can say anything online, but getting sex IS easy. You can just phone up an escort, pay your $300 and voila, you got sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 04:14 PM

I get what you trying to say here but the analogy is hella off 🤣 both Loki and Thor are good looking for one, two, Thor pulls women anyway regardless, and 3, Loki is basically the original bad boy, brooding bro trope. He’s every woman’s YA leading male power fantasy character. They’re addicted to that kind of character.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 04:12 PM

It really isn’t that hard getting laid tho.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 04:05 PM

Jesus, where do you live, the 1800s? You don’t need to visit a brothel. You can hop online and hit up an escort easily, there’s even a whole Reddit forums dedicated to this Negotiation pricing. You can even fly her in to your location if you want. Meet at a hotel, pay her in cash and enjoy the next 20 mins.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 03:58 PM

Seriously? You’re aspiring to be a PUA?! This has to be comedy cuz wtf 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 03:50 PM

What else you gonna do? Pretend to be someone else 🤣 good look with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 03:46 PM

Pay an escort then.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 03:45 PM

🤣 brother this has to be satire cuz you’re mad you aren’t getting sex right away with every girl you date?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 03:38 PM

Here I am 5’ 5” 140 soaking wet and never actually struggled in dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 03:37 PM

Same. Why do guys think a piece of paper written back in the 90s is gonna get them ass instead of just going outside and being respectful lol
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 03:36 PM
1

A virgin with may friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 03:33 PM

They just fear rejection like guys. Not only that, but most women admit to finding approaching degrading, so a lot of them operate on “if he could, he would.”
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/26 04:06 PM
1

The thing is, the bulk of women prefer being approached.
