We don't understand anything and we cannot relate so dont even try that. Any person who can threaten any child with violence is not worth my time. Is not worth anybodies time. Should not be allowed near children in the first place. Any person who thinks it's OK to justify this kind of behaviour needs an automatic sterilisation. Period. Edit to add im done with the convo. You suck, he sucks, im glad he's going to loose everything. He deserves it. That poor child.

No no. You're treating the same as you would a conversation between adults. Kids don't understand the nuance and tone. If you tell them you're going to harm them, they believe you're going to harm them. The mental gymnastics you are undertaking to justify this is gold medal worthy. A child doesn't understand that yoi were just angry. And in any regard its still not OK to say that to any child, nevermind your own. Talking to men like you is like talking to a brick wall.

He literally said in the post he told his toddler he was going to kill him/her. How much more info do you need. It doesn't matter the context in which he said it. The fact remains that he said it. You're an awful person, and I hope you never have children if this is how you think it's appropriate to act.

but because i believe its right. Great, but you're still wrong. This isn't really a case of opinion. It's a simple fact of its just wrong to threaten to murder your own child. Context doesn't matter. He threatened his defenceless child. It's as simple as that. It doesn't matter if he's said it in anger or he feels bad now, after the fact. We don't give people praise for not killing their children.

If you don't think threatening to kill your child makes you a bad person I hate to break it to you but you are also a bad person.

Let me break this down for you. It doesn't matter whether it was said in the heat of the moment. He threatened to kill his kid. It doesn't matter if he "didn't mean it." Because he said it and its out there.. There is an astronomical difference between saying something stupid in the heat of the moment, and threatening to kill a child. The more you try and justify it, the worse you look. Normal people, angry or not, don't threaten to kill their children. It's as simple as that.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
