I guess it’s less technical and blunter. I would use man hater if I was talking to a five year old or someone who appeared to have limited vocabulary.

Misandry has existed as a word since the 1800’s, and the roots go back to Ancient Greek.

People are afraid of being seen as supporting the patriarchy. People have forgotten the overlap between respect and fear of repercussions. People have been conditioned to believe boys and men without international accomplishments do not deserve respect. People have been conditioned to believe that basic dignity and empathy is something that a few men could accomplish but is not standard equipment.

Yeah I went to the stoner beach once and there were about 20 people that I was shallow friends with and one guy who was a real dumbass but was acting tough because he had a gym body. I had a couple beers in my bag and I shared all but two of them out to people who had given me drinks before, but the dumbass muscle guy misread the situation and thought I was giving free drinks to everyone but him, when I was just gifting drinks to people who had given me drinks before. He got real up in my face b…

I’ve dated more than 50 women and at least 35 of them have been like this, picky about different things I do. The ones that weren’t like this were never serious about being attached to me.

I dated a playboy model who was totally irresponsible and assumed everyone else would take care of her every need. She wasn’t mean or aggressive or even very picky about brands or types of food or quality of housing, but she never wanted to have anything to do with the logistics of actually getting it or paying for it. I dated a girl who looked like Kiera knightly with freckles, and she was very kind and “love and light” “good vibes” in person, but even though we had agreed to be monogamous toge…

They already are shamed for it by their mothers who think to girls are good enough for their special boy. Men are already shamed for using and abusing disadvantaged women in sex work. It’s a huge red flag and turn off for most women I’ve talked to about it if they think a potential partner went to prostitutes for most of their twenties, they interpret it as an inability to get sex without paying for it, and they see it as a man who is so misogynistic that he just sees women as commodities to be …

Why are you trying to oppress young people by limiting their dating pool to people who are less likely to have the resources to start a family?

My parents were preachers so they gave me advice like cut off my hand if I touch a woman outside of marriage, pluck out my eye if I look at someone lustfully. Just the basic humane regular everyday stuff. Most men probably actually do this, but I decided to be a heathen and keep my eyes

I’m not saying that divorce is always senseless or unjustified, I’m just saying statistically she’s likely to divorce him.

So if a guy divorces a woman he’s a shallow asshole and if a girl divorces a guy she’s a victim escaping a bad situation. Either way, man =bad.

What happens when that 21 yr old is 30? She divorces him, usually.

What do you want men caring about rape to look like? Do you want all men to constantly go around double checking consent? Do you want you a third party to witness and verify consent? Do you want men to just stop pursuing sex en masse? How are you showing that you care about prison rape? How are you showing that you care about other rape? When you look at cdc stats on rape, you’ll find another category called made to penetrate, which is a thing that only happens to men but if any of that happened…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 09:18 AM

True story

At the very least men usually have to move to different shelter, so there’s moving expenses. There’s lawyer’s fees. There’s stress which leads to sickness which leads to days off work and lost wages. Sometimes alimony. Sometimes child support. Sometimes other money sent outside of court orders. There’s possibly vehicle expenses. Possible expenses to her family.

Pretty sure even women with wealth before the marriage have a stronger argument for winning alimony in court because they are legitimately unable to function outside of those lifestyle expectations.

There’s very little good reason for a man to get married. It’s mostly financial and reputation liability with a high likelihood of losing it all in the divorce. Women are more likely to initiate divorce so it’s really not easy to trust someone like that. Also as soon as you make it official then all the controlling manipulation and obligation starts and there’s no way to have a day of peace.

Idk losing weight really helped me. When I went from 250 lbs to 167 lbs it was like I didn’t even have to try to pick up women. I’d go to just play guitar at the beach and come home with a different girl every other day without even asking for a number or buying anything or making anyone dinner. Now that I’m back at 220 lbs I have to put in a lot more effort especially if I want to get a girl who’s conventionally attractive

It depends on how often and in what manner she complains about living standards. If she’s super easy going and actually ok with just basic housing and vehicles and has no major ambitions or aspirations that’s fine. If she’s broke and not ambitious and also the kind of person who wants name brand everything and the biggest shiniest house and car then I wouldn’t want to be with her. If she’s a super high performance high earning ambitious woman who’s actually ok with dating a carpenter then hell y…

Do you believe in a deep intimate relationship without marriage? Do you think it’s possible for a bachelor who has two or three casual partners that never decided to move in with him or try to have kids with him but still show up and hang out and have sex and spend time and money and effort with the bachelor, is he going to be suffering from lack of marriage? Or is the husband who’s constantly denied sex and shamed for asking for it, is he trapped by his wife? Used by her for money and prestige …

I’ve been around many women who were not shy because they were emotionally engaged in a convo with a calm confident person. Maybe try telling a short funny story that they can engage with instead of having just a list of questions. When women are unsure of your intent and level of confidence they may not be responsive in the way you want. Also lots of women have lots of great reason to avoid whatever contact with strange men in most situations. Turns out we men are sometimes violent creeps and w…

Gotta do what you can to find stuff you enjoy and get good at! Try drawing! The app DaVinci eye is pretty good for working from photos. Try music! Auxy is a neat app for programming beats and bass and synth lines. There are thousands of YouTube vids to learn any instrument. You could write reviews of stuff for money, or write stories or whatever. You could independently study whatever you find interesting. You can get great at photography. You could volunteer at an animal shelter. You could phys…

Go introduce yourself to a woman, ask her what she’s passionate about- what gets her really excited. Buy drinks. Don’t over compliment her. Walk and talk with confidence. Be playful and flirty, get into an emotional state where you are open and engaged and expressive. Share that state with her. Be ready to walk away at the first red flag she drops. Be ready to get rejected.

Because that’s the injustice felt the deepest. When a court tears a father from his children that just cuts deep. That’s usually from a divorce that got really ugly
