The really shitty thing is this does immeasurable damage to the credibility of legitimate sexual assault victims, regardless of their gender.

Didn’t the prosecutor get fired or disbarred?

As per Google, North Carolina inmates can make between $0.05 and $0.38 an hour.

I’m Canadian, so I admit I’m a little out of touch with US politics beyond the headlines. What rights exactly are under threat for men?

If it were a man in his late 30s talking to a 15 year old girl, it would have been reported. This is no different. She’s a hebephile/Ephebophile. Report her.

I’m just joking. You’ve got great advice from everyone. First things first, you need a paternity test to confirm the legitimacy of the child.

I’m Canadian, it’s getting a lot worse there. Canada didn’t see the same economic growth the US did in 2023, believe it or not the US economy actually grew last year. The Canadian economy is largely propped up by real estate; continuously rising while wages remained largely stagnant. Very relaxed laws and regulations made the problem worth. Essentially if you built a new housing development, most of the property would have been bought by investors, foreign and domestic, before they even broke gr…

The west is nothing. Come to Asia man, it’s like the 50s here. If I were to divorce a wealthy woman, I would still get rinsed in the divorce proceedings. If my ex was a drug addict and showed up to family court high, she would still get custody of the kids.

Shit I’ll saw my balls off with a rusty saw that hasn’t been sharpened in 15 years and lubricated daily with lemon juice for the last 6 months if they post a pic with Leo proposing to them.

It’s wild how many women in their mid to late thirties are single and struggling to find a partner now that they’re done their “hoe” phase. My cousin was a staunch feminist 10 years ago, always talking about how she doesn’t need or want a man. Men are pigs etc., but now she’s like 36 and all she talks about is how she wants a man to take care of her, pay her bills, and she wants to be a stay at home wife. But there are few to no men that want a 36 year old woman that’s been run through and would…

Hug your dad. Not everyone has a father or a good relationship with theirs. But I did. I hugged my dad when I graduated high school, and then once more almost 10 years later when he was on his death bed. My one regret is I wish I had more hugs during the time between.

The UK and Canada both have comically light sentences for minors. In Canada, their identities are never released and their records are sealed at 18. Doesn’t matter if it’s theft, rape or murder. The only exception is if they are wanted and considered dangerous. Even then there’s a special court order that will only allow their names and faces to be broadcasted for a short period of time. After that expires, all records must be removed.

Don’t quote me on this, but I read that she had posted photos from the shop washroom in uniform with the shop name clearly visible. A lot of companies would fire someone for that.

Looks can be misleading. She currently stands at #5 in her weight class and has a professional MMA record of 8-1. Although she has no chance against the current Women’s Bantamweight champion, Amanda Nunes.

She was suspended after the fight for gaining 18% of her body weight between weigh ins and the fight. That’s 18% of her body weight in one night. She was also visibly shaking and looking like she was in pain during the weigh in. I don’t think this has anything to do with gender discrimination. I think she was just mad that she did all that to make weight, and lost in the first round.
