I’ve dated two women who declared, after a time, that they’d had an affair with a married man. One said they were seduced, and it was over. This still didn’t sit well with me, but I got over it, and we ended up having a good relationship for a time (broke down due to other reasons). Dinner should be an add-on, after a get to know the person date - after spending time together and seeing if you want to spend further time together. I wouldn’t commit to dinner for a date off the bat, purely because there’s so many women out there that will do this just to get a free meal. Just meet up somewhere neutral that you both agree on, see if you have anything in common, and then make further plans as appropriate.
