Yes. She divorced from the father of her kids at 26 and she's 36 now. I'd be more surprised if she had stayed single all that time but she dated two other guys before she met me. Nothing that would alarm me to be fair.

I felt like such a beta during my first marriage that it was one of the reasons it felt apart. I would just hate to see the same happen again. Not that it would go the same way, but beta behaviour can manifest itself in all sorts of ways so I'd rather future proof myself now than to risk slipping up again.

Well I say mid-30s because I will always be mid-30s in my head but I'm 37, she's 36 though in all fairness can pass for 30. She had the kids and her first marriage when she was way too young but that's the folly of youth I guess.

The worst part is I haven't completely lost it on top. That would at least be easier! It just went grey and patchy. Now I have to shave face and head as if I didn't waste enough time!

Cheers for that, I'm just going to have a shave and will read it in a second. Very much appreciated thank you.

Do you have a link to Gaylubeoil's post by any chance? I'd really like to read it. I've met the ex a handful of times, quite a slimy guy who seems to hide behind his new wife more than deal with things himself. Is there something I should be picking up on?

I agree with that 100%. It's my money, it could be ours if we are desperate enough to need it but that time has yet to come.

That truly sounds horrible, what a terrible way to treat your spouse or anyone for that matter.

Well I shall keep that in mind. Have you had an experience with them before that caused these feelings? It's new to me so I'm not sure what I should be expecting in that regard. Always willing to learn though.

She doesn't actually know how much I have tucked away as I use an overseas back account for various reasons. She knows that I make enough now and that between us (she has a great job too) we've paid off the mortgage and upgraded the house in the last couple of years. I'm also fairly new to this country so I don't own many things over here.

Oh I got you. Well as cliché as it sounds she does look after me great. I mean she makes me feel like a king in all other aspects. She doesn't have any debts so I have no fear about my money being thrown away. She's very attentive in bed, she works with me and not against me. In fact I really like how her skills compliment mine and I see her as a good second in command to my captain. It's just these occasional outbursts annoy me.

You'll have to explain this to me. I'm still reading the beginner stuff so what do you mean by this?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
