The issue with this is the naming. By calling this scale “the man box” you’re suggesting that the scale measures masculinity, when it doesn’t. As has been pointed out in the comments, there are manifold ways in which a man can meet some version of these traits, and therefor be masculine, without fulfilling these traits as they are presented. So what this REALLY measures is unhealthy forms of masculinity, not masculinity itself. The result that follows from their naming is: “masculinity = unhealt…

Seeing as we’re just gonna cut to the chase... Your naive sanitising of nature will kill us all. Your ethics are the reason for our ecological disaster. If you went and sat with nature for a second she would seem to you as a thresher. You do not speak her language. You do not know how to dance with her. You are the natural incel. Spurned, you must kill or die. You toothless are the truest murderers.

I’m not sure I follow so let me see if I am. You say it would be strange if a cat didn’t kill a mouse, so it is expected that a cat would kill a mouse, and that makes it a bad example. A couple of things I’m noticing. 1) I didn’t offer an example, I asked a question. Hence it isn’t a bad example, it isn’t an example at all. To be fair I was heading towards something, which you’ve clearly inferred and tried to respond to, but I’m not sure what you’ve inferred is what I implied, because I was wait…

What about if you had a cognisant and self aware animal for a pet, such as an octopus, parrot or monkey, and it killed a less cognisant animal for game? What if you saw your cat playing with a dying mouse? Would you stop loving your pet?

This requires you to build up your capacity for more complex cognitive loads (OYS), and to build your stamina under load (Lift+meditate). Build. Up. Your issue isn’t effort. You expend effort every time you can’t wait to unzip and take your life force into your empty fist. Your issue isn’t effort. It’s consistency. Which is a function of masculine cognition by the way. Women are chaotic. Men are consistent. Your goal, for now, should be to increase your consistency. So if you break into a sprint…

Look up neurotyping, not the braverman assessment. The braverman thing is all academic and useless for day to day application. I didn’t even need to mention it I was just mindlessly info dumping. As for PM’s... I’ve been sniffing around red pill communities since around 2012. I remember the main having just a few thousand subs. Nowadays I rarely post and usually delete accounts after a few months. Don’t hold your breath for responses to PM’s etc. Not because I don’t wish you guys all the best an…

Well that’s an opinion, not an argument, so I can’t say I disagree.

Fucking. Meditate. If you’re going to read The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck, like a lot of guys here do, then pair it with The Happiness Trap, and those two will give you a very solid intro to meditation: red pill style. The Mind Illuminated is a great follow up after a year or so of basic practice. It will definitely deepen your practice, but first you need to inoculate yourself against all the pacifist, effeminate, compassion possessed Buddhist ethics inside it. Reading Nietzsche should suf…

Look into neurotyping and adjust your diet accordingly. “Neurotyping” is not rock solid theory. The Braverman assessment on which it is based doesn’t align with what we know about other ascpects of personality from the big 5 literature. That said, it changed my life. I’ll explain. You have started OYS how many times and keep falling off the bandwagon, coming back a few months later. I imagine this is an ongoing issue that reveals itself in other areas of your life. It reveals a lack of willpower…

Sidebar is a good cure to this. I would suggest however that before OP reads TWOTSM he should read The Masculine in Relationship by CJ Youngblood. This book is what really put it all together for me, and is specifically written to address the issue “how can I lead an empowered, confident, competent woman?”. Just realising that a highly competent woman still wants to feel lead in matters of romance and relationship is half the battle. I’ve realised after reading a number of books on cognitive sci…

I don’t think that’s a fair characterisation of primary vs secondary psychopathy. Plenty of primary psychopathy individuals are honest and upfront. Plenty aren’t. To be clear: primary psychopathy = a heritable neurological adaption which sees a reduction in fear and anxiety responses, including empathetic anxiety responses (they don’t worry for others). Some professions which are largely dominated by primarily psychopathic individuals include surgeons and fighter pilots, for example. Secondary p…

Don’t find something. Build something. Like reading? Start a book club. Like bushcraft? Start a bushcrafting group. Like writing or meditation or both? Start a mindful writers group. Bonus dread points if you can host this club at a college campus and it results in a slew of ripe, tight female friends. Build it and host it. My dad started an AA group and sat alone by himself working the steps every week for years before other people started attending it. Obviously you can’t afford to do that, bu…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
