They just want it both ways, enforceable punishments beyond what the school and court of public opinion can dish out but at the same time the speed, simplicity and lack of fact checking a university committee can provide. Essentially they're upset that the real world doesn't work like an episode of Law and Order SVU where anything sketchy can be sorted out in 30 min and none of the ramifications matter because you can just forget about what happened by the time the next episode comes on.

Still wouldn't say it belongs on here, I'm sure women don't want to be judged by women that are so shitty they are extreme outliers in the group in the same way we wouldn't. An argument could be made that they sometimes do like pointing to Bill Cosby and saying all men are rapists but there’s no real reason to stoop to their level - far more important things to focus on.
