It would also be another nail in the coffin of liberty, talk about government intrusion.

Don't underestimate your fellow men. We may face our own unique struggles, but make no mistake, we will be all the better men because of these experiences. I say, have a little faith in your fellow man my friend.

exactly. You may be a bigot, but bigotry is not a crime.

yes it is. why shouldn't you be allowed to make those decisions for your own property? You aren't hurting anyone, you are not depriving anyone of something that is rightfully theirs.

Are you serious? Just because this woman prefers to rent only to other females you think this is somehow a violation of your rights? Its her property, she makes the rules, be a big boy and stop bitching about it.

The line in the sand is not arbitrary. Its called the non aggression principle. Crime is not arbitrary either. A crime must have a victim. I'm not so sure that a circumcised child can be viewed as a victim. You just have a different line in the sand. You'll judge at murder and rape...other people will judge sooner... If what you are saying is that you would use force on someone who has not initiated it against you then you sir are a hypocrite and potentially a criminal. So then we shouldn't have…

Circumcision is not a crime. Its not murder, its not killing in any way. Society has nothing to do with it. Its about individuals. If a crime is committed (aka. revenge killing) then its up to the victim and the perpetrator to resolve the conflict. It doesn't matter what anyone outside of the initial incident and its resolution thinks. You keep trying to make circumcision equivalent to murder/rape and other serious crimes and i'm sorry but its just not comparable.

What is your point in regards to this thread? What im trying to say is that i am not so certain that it is right to forcibly stop families from participating in a certain practice simply because you do not agree with it. Judge them how you please but do not use the force of law to impose your beliefs on them.

lol yea thats a different issue altogether. We are not talking about people willfully harming others.

We aren't talking about judgement, we are talking about persecution. We are talking about using force against people because you don't agree with their beliefs.

What makes you think people need to behave in an "acceptable" manor for you? Why do they need ANYONES approval?

It deserves as much respect as you expect for your personal beliefs.

I see your point and funnily enough would call myself an anarcho-capitalist too. I am by no means in favor of circumcision, however I have a hard time supporting any sort of law that takes the choice away from parents. Personally I see circumcision as a cultural/religious practice and however disturbing i find it to be, i have to recognize it as meaningful to other people. I am sure plenty of things i believe would be considered ridiculous to other people, thats just how the world is, we all hav…

The question isn't whether or not you own your child, the question is why should you be able to make decisions for someone else and their child? I seriously doubt you would be so at ease if the tables were turned and someone else was making decisions about what to do with your children. The fact is there is no one set of "right" things in the world, everyone has their own perspective and their own understanding. To me the most logical conclusion is that people must be allowed to make their own d…

why the fuck do you people think you can make this decision for anyone other than you and your own child????

Well sure its a double standard, but seriously nobody should get time for having consensual sex. A victimless crime is no crime at all.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
