You should read through my previous posts if you'd like to pass your judgements. I see how you respond to each and every comment that agrees with the posted article(that you obviously don't agree with) My ex had zero red flags. We were together for nearly 20 years total and married 10 years before she finally had a mental breakdown. Which certainly stemmed from childhood trauma based on what I experienced and details of her early life that surfaced. All of these things started in the last 2 year…

I saw a good response in this sub and I thought I'd share ... "She sued you in court, she's not your friend" hopefully that helps, on top of all of the other betrayal. Block her

Stbx worked with several "strong divorced women"...which is how she explained them. With her psychosis and paranoia, she would spit back these lies about what was transpiring in our home to these people. That I tracked her, stalked her, abused her, all untrue and proven untrue in court. I felt there was a huge influence from these women and I never met any of them. stbx I feel loved victimhood and the attention she got from it. Ultimately I think she filed to win their approval and so that she d…

Sometimes it's not in the cards to remain amicable. In my case, wife wanted to separate. Tried driving me out of the home with typical false police reports etc. I stayed in the home and helped her move into a rental that she found. Spent a lot of time there helping and even spent some nights there. Then her psychosis got worse and eventually she filed and became high conflict. Withheld the kids from me after numerous custody disputes. My advice would be that if you have kids, work out something …

I'm at about 30k with a motion, filing, and now psych evaluations and we have barely started the actual divorce proceeding. We are about 3 months in. It's much worse when it's high conflict... My stbx is trying to remove me from my children's lives. I asked her to do the paperwork ourselves or with a mediator this was ok at first, but she became high conflict and on a power trip and refused. She picked an extremely expensive lawyer who is the absolute scum of the earth. Lies and manipulation of …

Sorry you are going through this brother. Dealing with this now currently. Unfortunately my 9 year old was alienated from me for the past 2 months. Now just getting to see her after the court ordered 5050 on a motion I filed. She absolutely hates me because of what she has been told. I needed to set the record on the main items before she was even ok with talking to me. She has been told nothing but lies and placed directly in the middle. It becomes wishy washy because we need to hear their feel…

Literally in the exact same boat. 20 years with my stbx and she is an extremely different person. I personally think it's a mental health condition, but I could be wrong. It all started with a job loss for her. And it eventually led to her accusing me of plotting her murder and tracking her. See some of my previous posts. Dated 10, married 10. Slandered me to everyone, withheld the kids for 2 months, kept them out of the first week of school. I had my day in court for the motion I filed against …

This is what I thought as well. But after reading the police reports she was so erratic and paranoid that it was obvious to a judge. I work for a defense contractor and my ex knows if she could obtain one I potentially lose my job as well. Never stopped her. Similar situation to yours tho. 4 & 9 year old. Dated my ex for 10 years, married for 10 years. Look through some of my previous posts. I sent you a dm to chat

Do not leave your house. Record your interactions and keep your distance. I recommend cameras in the portion of the house where you reside. My wife tried for several TRO and could not land any. Once she does make an attempt , future judges may see her behavior and it will only work to your benefit. Get a schedule together with her for time with your kids and have her sign it. As you move forward with divorce this will be helpful. Do not help her with childcare or anything on the days she is sche…

You can only take so many swings at it. I'm not sure how many attempts you made before. But a nuclear family will always be better than a fragmented home. Just understand that you'll need to forgive her for nuking the family and the act of cheating. Which is probably the hardest part.

If there are kids involved I would absolutely look to reconcile. But you need to do things slow. And id advise doing this with a good couples therapist so that you don't end up back at square one.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
