There are some throwaway accounts here but there's a solid reason for it. You don't want to post from your main account and get r*pe threats from scrotes. It's also important to hide any identifying informations while engaging here, because it may be dangerous for us in real life. A lot more people are diagnosed with cancer today than 200 years ago. Why? Because we have far more advanced tools to detect it! This, and also that we live longer. Honestly, I don't think there is anything high value about wanting to protect your own child. It's the bare minimum. It's your child. If it were a man jumping into freezing water or entering a building on fire to save somebody else's child - that would be high value trait. This is probably the film that changed my life the most. I wish somebody would make it into a TV series, so they would have enough screen time to explore all the other aspects of patriarchy they didn't have time to touch on. One of the things I liked the most is how quickly he adapts to the new reality. Shows how effectively social pressure molds our behaviour. Everyone should watch this film.

Exactly. Miranda is very fun to watch (one of my top 10 favourite characters in media) but she's also a horrible human being. I don't think the children are the problem here. Children replicate the behaviours they see. They see their LVM father leaving a mess for the wife to clean and they will learn to do the same. You can absolutely teach your 7yo to tidy up their mess, but you won't teach your 35yo manchild. That's one of the reasons why I decided I want to be a single mother in the future.
