I remember reading some youtube comments one time where women were talking about not enjoying sex and then this one woman was like "honey, you need to just keep living. There are men out there who can make you scream. Just keep living. I thought I didn't like sex before I met my current partner and now our sex life is insanely good."

I was going to ask her if there's a way to get money from the divorce but I just assumed it would be really difficult to pay for a lawyer when you have basically no money. I don't really know anything about divorce law. And he just now got his first job. His parents are wealthy but he himself has relatively little that could be taken from him via the courts. Are there resources I can send to her about ways to get money out of the divorce?

"My love language is physical touch" means he's a perv. If he's looking for a woman who's "open-minded" he wants to do degrading things to you in bed.

It's always really clear to me when I'm reading erotica whether the author has watched porn before. Even if its written by a woman there will be insane things like calling the man "Daddy" (barf), or this very strange woman-completely-nude-and-man-fully-clothed kink (barf again), or the woman gives him a bj and swallows the very first time they're intimate (no thanks). And then there are others where the author hasn't watched porn and the man's sole focus in the story is getting the woman off and…

Well, for future reference, simply using the phrase "husband and kids", does not, to most people, (and I'm judging by the ratios on your comments) mean that someone is opposed to single motherhood. It means you want both those things. It does not automatically imply that you only want one of those things if you can also have the other. But this is just semantics. I see now where the miscommunication was. Have a good day.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/12/21 08:37 PM
44

Yeah, and I was just saying that I felt your response was overkill. Making a random comment on an anonymous reddit post pointing out a simple fact isn't "pushing" something onto someone. You could have just said "single motherhood isn't for me" which is understandable.

I once saw a 60+ man on their say that after months of no sex he asked his wife if he could "cum on her face". He was surprised why she didn't like the suggestion. Wtf is wrong with these guys.

It's perfectly acceptable for a man to do this to a woman in our society. The fact that the commenters are going crazy over it really illustrates the double standard.

Girls really really need to be told that their value does not come from how many or which men desire them sexually. That message is POUNDED into their heads by our culture and it's so toxic and damaging. It took me years to deprogram that belief out of my head. Also, women who believe this are inevitably pick mes who perpetuate sexism and misbehavior by men.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/09/21 03:58 AM

So much to unpack here but I think a huge point is that when pickmes and instathots normalize being strangled in bed, it literally helps men get away with murder. Men get lighter sentences because our culture believes its totally cool to be strangled in bed, and those lighter sentences make it more likely more women will be killed. Normalizing BDSM and kink harms women!!!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/09/21 08:58 PM
7

Wow, disgusting. Hadn't thought of that. I really don't understand how nudes got so normalized in our society. When I was a teen, I heard about a girl who committed suicide after having her nudes leaked, and from that point on I vowed never to take one.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/08/21 10:50 PM

One of my life rules is just never take nudes. Period. I don’t do it ever. Even just having them on my phone, they could upload to some cloud and show up somewhere I don’t want. There’s no reason to ever take nudes and ESPECIALLY to never share them with anyone. You send them to someone else and they could do whatever they want with them. You might break up with someone someday you just never know. Protect yourself.

I had a similar experience with Picasso! I was at the art museum and was reading the information about one of his pictures of a woman and it talked about how he abused her and he only ever painted her as crying. He said he could only ever think of her as crying and then it had a quote from Picasso's daughter about he used, abused, and then threw away women. Then there was a part about how the woman he always painted crying hated the picture because it did not depict who she really was! I started…

There isn't a lot that can be done, but I think from here on out it means not posting photos of yourself on social media. If someone on facebook tags you in an image, untag yourself. Only let people you trust take photos of you.

Wow, that exactly happened to my mother. She was called "geriatric" and they thought I was going to have learning difficulties (I ended up high school valedictorian). LOL. It's still in old textbooks too. Like yes, the rate of birth defects do go up when you're older, but they are still VERY rare. They like to scare women with the "you will have defective children if you give birth in your 40s" line.

The first time I was ever attracted to a man I was 19. I thought attraction was "oh, look that guy look's good". But it's actually more than that. I think it's one of those things where you'll just know it when you are attracted to someone. That first time I experienced real sexual attraction, it was a bit overwhelming, I couldn't think of anything else when he was in the room, I was constantly aware of where he was in the room even if I wasn't looking at him, I had sexual dreams about him almos…

Men always say they want an independent woman and I've always wondered what they mean by it. A woman who will not ask him to do any emotional labor or help her in anyway (especially financially)? Or a woman without any close family ties so he can take advantage of her better and doesn't have to worry about pleasing the in-laws? I haven't figured it out yet. I know that when they say "open-minded" it's code for "will allow me to perform any degrading sex act I desire on her". But I haven't figure…

Yep. My mother actually had four children between the ages of 38-44. She had me when she was 42. The whole you need to start having kids before 30 thing is a total lie. But the sad thing is pregnant women in their 40s do get treated pretty bad by doctors.

I'm a supporter of animal rights and I could just see from the beginning of the Carole Baskin smear campaign in the show that she was being portrayed unfairly. But now it's just a meme and people run around saying she killed her husband. It's all just meant to discredit women and hinder her work. ugh.

Not to be THAT person, but you've misread the symposium if you think that's what is being said in it. Of course, it's true the ancient greeks did practice pederasty which is v ery disturbing and gross. However, that's just not at all the point Plato was making in that dialogue. He presents that speech about pederasty to show that it's actually wrong.

I think this also applies with men who have slept around a ton. I don't want a manwhore. If he's slept with a million women then he's more likely to have diseases and he might be thinking about them while we're having sex. I just on a primal level don't like the idea of being with someone who does tons of one night stands. It really shows their character isn't the best, women are just sex dolls to them and sex is all about pleasure to them and not bonding and love. Yet everyone talks like women …

Yep, happened to me. I was so pleased and happy to have a new friend, to think someone really wanted to spend all that with me just because they liked me for me. I ended up introducing him to my roommate because I thought they might hit it off. They did and he ends up dating her. I'm nearing 25 and I've never been a relationship and honestly, having a life that is not centered around men has just developed naturally for me. When I was a teenager, I was insecure and desperate for a relationship, but then time went on and I had some incredible life experiences and just sorta stopped thinking about men or romance in general. I just want to say one more thing because I see a lot of people suggesting you get a restraining order. Read Gavin De Becker's book the Gift of Fear. He talks about how often restraining orders can hurt instead of help and you need to be really careful about getting one because sometimes it leads to the man escalating his behavior.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/02/21 07:52 PM
53

You need to take some fairly drastic action here. I don't know if the police could help you or if you could move away, but at least get a giant dog, a really good security system. There's a good chance he escalates this and tries to do more to you. As people in the comments have pointed out, almost all rapists are also peeping toms. Many rapists start off as peeping toms. It's something that seems fairly harmless at first but is simply a stepping stone to more serious crimes.

Hmm, Outlander and GOT seem likely. I also thought you might be talking about the revenge scene in Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, which is both hard to watch but also pretty satisfying to see the bastard get what he deserved.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/02/21 06:07 AM

I think it's worse if it's meant to be arousing...like if the scene is meant to upset you then that's good, you should be upset by that stuff. But a scene of upsetting stuff but it's trying to arouse you is way more evil.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/02/21 06:07 AM

Actually many historians say that the society portrayed in GOT is probably way more brutal than actual medieval society. There wasn't a ton more rape back then than there is now; at least from what can be deduced from the historical evidence.

What the fuck??? Do the stupid fucking police really believe all rapists break the freakin door down?? Do they not fucking realize 90% of rapes are committed by men the women know?? I'm so angry. I have so many friends who have been raped. The story is always the same. They were hanging out alone with a guy they THOUGHT was their friend or even a guy they had a crush on. I also see this casual assumption in the general population that evolutionary psychology is a completely legitimate field, when it fact it's very controversial amongst academics and many people (okay me, sorry if you're into evo psych, but I do think it's bs) think it's a pseudoscience at best. Just because you can make up some story about how this or that behavior would have been evolutionarily more advantageous doesn't mean it's true and it's probably wayyy oversimplified. Yes, but then the issue with that is then men go and think ALL women are like that. It's a sample size thing. If you only observe the kind of women who fall for red pill tactics, your sample size is skewed. What you observe of their behavior may be true for that type of woman, but it in no way means it applies to all other women. Observe the women you want, but realize that the way women who have had men throwing themselves at them their entire lives behave is different from the average woman.

I love My Fair Lady but in hindsight, it really sucks that instead of ending up with Freddy Einsford Hill who is an HVM who loves her just as she is (he sings the devastatingly romantic song On the Street Where You Live), Eliza relents and goes back to Higgins. It's especially frustrating because at one point she sings a whole song about how she doesn't need him anymore and will be perfectly happy without him (Without You), but at the very end comes back to him.

I also hate guys who say they are looking for a woman who is "open-minded". That just means they want a woman who will let them perform degrading sex acts on them.

This is why I sleep in mosquito netting! No roaches can crawl on me now!

This is ILLEGAL. 2. The woman who sleeps with him still has to pay rent??? What is the point of the whole arrangement? Normally these are sex for free rent. Hahaha, why did this guy think anyone would do this. Also when guys say "open-minded woman" they mean a woman who will let them perform degrading sex acts on her. It's so gross.

Just to bring some balance to this situation...I know for a fact that interns run the Pope's social media accounts, so not really that surprising if you think about it...Getting upset about this is kinda stupid.

I didn't read the article, but this reminds me of some key points from the Gift of Fear. 1. Restraining Orders most of the time only make the situation worse. 2. Just complaining to the police does not always help. You have to take it into your own hands and implement tried and tested methods of getting away from stalkers. There's an entire chapter in the Gift of Fear about stalking. A very important thing to read.

My mom has a friend who's in her 50s and her husband died recently and she's not even sad at all LOL. Like she's happy to be single again. I will say she did get a really nice house out of the marriage and now she happily lives in it alone! Not all widows are grieving...

Thanks, yes, and the crazy thing was I used to think that most men were like this. What a rude awakening I have had. But it's important for women to realize that this is how every partner should behave. It's not crazy to be expect that from a man.

I don't give a flying fuck about my "big day" I want someone who is as committed as I am. I will be questioning their ability to truly committ if they are divorced. Therfore, I prefer a bachelor and paritcularly one that hasn't slept around a lot. I, like a lot of women, don't like man whores when comes to relationship. Sorta genuinely weird to me that you think women care about their wedding more than their actual marriage.

I think a facetime would be good just to check what he actually looks like and yeah there's no point going out with someone you're not physically attracted to. Don't feel bad about, there are plenty of archaeologists out there. I'm an archaeologist and the men in this profession aren't that special as sexy and exotic as they may seem.

I've been there. Had a great guy friend who I hung out with all the time. I introduced him to my rommate, a single woman like I was and they started dating. I friendship basically collapsed after that and hasn't recovered since in the three years they have been dating. Found out later he was actually thinking about dating me. But I also think this happens with most friends when they get into romantic relationships. Even my close female friends will become less responsive when they are in the hon…

I truly don't know. You'd think they would have laws against that stuff, but I think it's different when there isn't any solid proof, just the family saying something seems suspicious.

We asked the police to look into it. When they asked him to come in for an interview, he threatened to sue. They dropped the case. Yes, he could. He used that money to buy himself a boat. My cousin and her husband had spent all their savings on IVF and could've used the money for their baby.
