You seem to think that a certain amount of money makes you less of a loser. Oh no. That wasn't my point at all. The guys on that show are chumps and they aren't even that rich. No cause an effect relationship intended.

What you are showing me, is only covering the US portion of the entity known as Goldman Sachs. Dude just read the thing. The explicitly states which legal entities are foreign and which are domestic. Internationally it's known by several other names Well go on then. Name some of these unnamed international partners of Goldman Sachs that don't appear in the linked document. even staffs some of the IMF, Worldbank, and BIS Oh for fucks sake. I don't know if this is total ignorance or moving the goa…

You do realize that all those other legal entities are subsidiaries of "The Goldman Sachs Group, inc" which is the entity registered in Delaware. Also realize that the SEC filings of Goldman Sachs reflect the holdings of all their subsidiaries. The corporate structure for GS can be found in this Federal Reserve filing (look under "Names of Material Entities"): http://www.federalreserve.gov/bankinforeg/resolution-plans/goldman-sachs-1g-20131001.pdf

Lol. You can look at Goldman Sachs corporate balance sheet and see that this is obviously not true.

The banks pay their excess capital to shareholders and they pay their employees well, which is why they have lower market caps You do realize that paying dividends makes a stock more valuable right? Look up the dividend discount model. Hell even stocks that don't pay dividends can be valued based on the expectation of future dividends (and the growth the receive from retained earnings).

I don't see what was wrong with what you said I mean pretty much nothing he said is correct. The majority of people at Google/Facebook/etc. are totally replaceable and do not have the leverage to negotiate. The rock stars who need to get paid get paid. The guy obviously knows fuck all about stock valuation because he thinks that paying dividends some how makes your stock less valuable. Wrong. A basic dividend discount model analysis would obviously show that a stock that yields dividends is more…

New York reporting in: We still wear suits (and no not just the investment bankers). Also, just to be clear, most guys in suits look like their dressed for their Bar Mitzvah. You actually have to get a suit tailored to make it look good. Also if you aren't in at least reasonably good shape a suit can just make you look bigger and boxier than something more casual. Tl:Dr - This post is kind of bullshit.

Then don't watch Millionaire Matchmaker. Most of the guys on Millionaire Matchmaker are chumps though. They might have a few bucks (and let's be honest - the majority are guys with net worths in the <$5 million range) but most seem like total losers.

So then why use the stories as examples at all. It takes some serious reading between the lines to look at many (or any) of the "original" BFs as "Alphas". Most of the time it sounds like the women left a beta type for a CC ride and regret it. That still supports RP theory but isn't really what the OP is implying is going on.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
