Bro Tate does have some good advice about confidence, game, and getting fit that tons of other better people also give, but he leans way too much into the doomerism to appeal to his audience. I have seen Tate fans unironically believe that 90% of men are incels and that random 19 year old girls regularly get flown out to some yacht in Miami. He generally greatly over exaggerates how bad things are. I got laid when I was 18 and 115 pounds and according to Andrew Tate thats impossible. I was alrea…

I can understand why nobody would want to fight in some pointless war like Iraq or Afghanistan or something. But look at the situation in Israel. Country has been at war since it's founding with maniacs who want to slaughter Jews and completely destroy the state of Israel. In that situation it makes so much more sense to be willing to fight.

Women are so annoying when they do that fake rejection shit like you mentioned, about that girl telling you she didn't want to have sex, and then when you "pass" and play it cool they get all giggly and attractive. It's like if you want to have sex with me, or if you want to go out with me, why don't you just let it happen? Maybe as a male it's hard for me to understand this, but like this one first date I was on, I said something about "so on our next date...." Then she said in a very stern ser…

If you believe that what's holding you back is confidence and or self esteem, definitely work on it. I think self esteem is one of the most necessary traits for a happy life. Not just for getting women.

Ya there is a legit flaw that nobody mentions. Online dating profiles are shit. The majority of men have shit pictures. And women use every single trick to make them as hot as possible in pictures. This video has a literal bald Indian guy who tripled his matches by having decent pictures. https://youtu.be/XCZshGvuhVY?si=v96v3AlSHxEhgUpW

I genuinely believe that if every man had decent social skills and put in a decent amount of effort than every man could get a girlfriend. Or nearly every man. The reason there's so many sexless young men is because a lot of them haven't even tried. You can't just put up some low effort online dating profile and then when you don't get many matches claim that "it's over for average men and western society is going to collapse."

Okay his comment was in response to the thread that is about mentors. He said you can't find them in modern world because of the "cucked feminist government not allowing male only spaces" I guess you got me on the technicality that martial arts gyms don't explicitly ban women. But I also mentioned that if you really want a group that bans women go join the freemasons. I was addressing both his points and your points in my comment.

I don't see how the group has to be male only to find male role models. My BJJ class has like 45 people in it and there are maybe 3 chicks. I ask the older guys I know for advice sometimes. It doesn't make a difference. And you would be hard pressed to find a single chick in a hunting group or dirt biking group And btw if you really look there are groups that ban women. College frats, the freemasons. I'm sure there's others out there.

The redpill has so much good in it. Being more confident, gaining self esteem, emphasis on finding a purpose, "numbers game," being comfortable in your sexuality and masculinity, generally improving you physical appearance. If anyone has a problem with any of that then their opinion is pretty much worthless and can be simply ignored. I do think there are some legit criticisms of the redpill. Like "AWALT," "men and women can't be friends," "money status and looks are all that matters" and just ge…

Bruh what? Idk if there are literally "male only spaces" but go to any martial arts gym, or join a dirt biking group, climbing gym. It's gonna be 80% men or more.

Two things I did that changed my life. 1. I joined a BJJ gym. Lots of very interesting and open minded and masculine characters there. 2. I went to a male therapist. And I judged by appearance in this case. I found a middle aged guy who looked pretty jacked and even said on his website that he is ex military. He gave me insanely good advice regarding women. It's hard to find but ya just email therapists and specifically mention you are interested in men's issues or masculinity or something like …

I'm not saying become a criminal, but maybe some dudes need to take a chapter out of the criminals book. Stop being overly concerned about what others think, go for what you want, and be more willing take risks. When someone else is successful at any avenue of life you should ask yourself, what about them should I try to imitate to become more successful.

It's so fucked how childhood can shape your personality so much. In the adult world outside of drinking areas, in my experience nobody ever wants to fight. It's like if you stand up to your boss or set a boundary with a coworker it's not like they are going to beat you up in the office lol.

I have noticed awkward dudes are often times skinny. People will say that it's because they are unattractive and it ruins confidence, but I think fat guys or just ugly guys generally are often way more confident and socially capable than skinny dudes. I'm kinda thinking it is because of trauma from getting bullied (well know that bullies pick on the weak) and just generally a subconscious fear of violence. Especially from childhood. Thoughts?

I don't see the risk of just flirting and or asking her out early on. Then if she says no you can go back to being classmates or coworkers or members of the social group or whatever it is with the knowledge she isn't available for you and will only be a friend. It just seems to make complete sense to get it out of the way early. Waiting weeks or months or something just seems like a huge over complication and a waste of time.

Ya, I'm not as knowledgeable on Europe but from what I have seen Europe's blue collar workers are doing well too. Or at least doing better than white collar because I know a lot of those countries are in recession. And i'm just making the assumption that English speaking reddit is going to be mostly Europe and North America.

Posted this comment on the "men are oppressed because of globalization" thread. Nah man look at any economic study and you can see mostly blue collar jobs are going through a huge boom right now. Truckers, construction work, welders, plumbers, cops, car technicians pretty much all of it. My 21 year old friend just started out as a carpenters apprentice for 23 bucks an hour. Yes and no. No you don't need to dress like a rapper and have chains or something. But most guys do have bad pictures for a variety of reasons. Some of this just comes down to literal camera quality and angles, but also some "bad boy" stuff. You want to look very comfortable and confident in your photos. Take up space, look natural, and it's better to actually be doing stuff. Like you definitely don't want some pic of you dressed up and smiling staring at the camera with a white background like …

Oh ya fair enough. Dang I bet your in laws are probably millionaires from that house at this point. I just don't like the people saying that young people are stuck inside as neets because of the economy. Which I totally disagree with. My rent is 750 and I have 3 or 4 roommates. If anything being poor has helped my social life. I'm a student so I meet people in school, I meet tons of people at my part time job, and I'm friends with all my roommates. Why is "the economy" such a big excuse on reddit lately. I live in Seattle and only work part time and I'm still able to save a bit of money every month. Granted I take public transit and ride my bike and I have roommates to save money, but was there ever some mythical time when 18-24 year olds could live in a popular city without roommates?

When I was really struggling with anxiety I would often times say "oh I have some anxiety issues" Easier than saying "I have social anxiety" then the person responds "oh I have social anxiety too" and then I explain, no no, I'm actually a former benzos addicted degenerate and I get panic attacks from asking the cashier at McDonald's for a refund when they mess up my order. It's generally just kinda embarrassing to share your specific diagnosis or whatever.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/23 05:14 AM

Yeah to be fair dudes on this sub do get insanely butthurt about height related things
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/23 04:55 AM

I don't get why women are so sensitive about this. If someone said 200 pounds on a man is probably fat I don't think the 6 ft tall fit 200 pounds running backs would all come out of the woodworks butthurt.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/23 04:47 AM

It's really really important to get investment. Not even actual commitment but just investment. If you make out or especially have sex on the first date it's way easier to get a second date. Because once a women feels really invested she's not just gonna start over from 0 with some random dude who maybe has a bigger dick than you or whatever thing your insecure about. Also by definition a good portion of women don't get "turned off" by players. Otherwise they wouldn't be players!
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/23 04:21 AM

the "angry young men" who are angry are total wimps and there really isn't anything to worry about. Anyone who has the conviction and the balls to pull some revolution or some shit definitely is able to get fucking laid.

Well ya for sure it's well known women prefer famous men or rich men or really amazing athletes or really anyone at the top of any field. And I would say a lot of times the two go together due to certain traits. When I was overly risk averse, crippled by social anxiety, not thinking long term, semi addicted to drugs a few years ago. I wasn't getting any girls and I was young so being broke was expected but I was making no moves to get educated and improve my lot in life.

I have never heard of them disliking hiking or working on cars. Now I think women just don't like fish pictures on dating apps for whatever reason. I guess they find the fish gross. Better to have a picture of you casting the fishing pole or something like that.

Talking to "sexless" guys online, and my own previous experience. It's so so common that they had some combination of abusive parents, grew up under extreme religion, or didn't grow up with a father. Leads to some combination of repressed masculinity, shame about their own sexuality, and social anxiety.

I more have a problem with intersectional feminists and far left ones. For example, I hugely support the girls and women in Iran fighting for their rights, and I think it would be awesome to find someone who also supports and cares about stuff like that. Specifically the issue is women who believe that all men are inherently bad, and the really looney stuff like saying there's "male logic" and "female logic" and they are two separate things and both can be true in their own way.

Before you listen to women on the internet it's a good idea to ask a women in real life her opinion. I was reading a thread about asking a women for consent before kissing on a date. Most the women in the thread said it's good and even encouraged it. Asked my sister just as an experiment. She said "If a guy did that on a date I would assume he's a total bitch and I would never go on another date." This is not a good trait to have. One reason I'm glad I at one point had crippling social anxiety is now I have less anxiety than most people and I have really thought through most of the beliefs that lead to this anxiety. If you are nervous around a girl you like it means you are in a threat oriented state, and you are probably seeing her disapproval as a real threat. This can lead to pandering nice guy behavior. It's better to be in a positive happy state, you are glad to be around her, hoping…

Yeah I used to think there were all sorts of social consequences of this but in my experience this has never happenedLike if you sit by a girl in class and at some point say "I really like you, what time are you free, we should go do this.." that sort of conversation. There are never any social consequences to this. It's perfectly fine to ask someone on a date, everyone is interested in dating and it's totally normal.

You are just repeating the same myths that this article addressed that have been repeated enough times to just become truth even though they aren't true. And when people refer to this "not a long time ago" they are usually referring to a tiny sliver of history in the 50-90s (minus most of the 70s and early 80s when there was 10% unemployment) and when they say "everyone" they are referring to specifically white people in the suburbs. https://www.cato.org/study/myth-american-income-inequality Okay I absolutely agree with you about problems in culture and law. But we need to create a better culture that encourages people to not be complacent. When I was 17 I was sorta edgy and kinda falling into this woe is me victimhood trap. You aren't a court jester there to entertain and you certainly aren't there to cater. Women have no respect for that. You do usually have to lead the conversation, that's true. But in a way that's fun and flirty for both of you, and in a way that will sexualize things and therefore cater to your own interests. If it seems like you are trying to hard to pander to her whims or interests or entertainment she ironically will probably lose interest.

Relative to the past I think it does. My old professor was just recently talking about this. He said that if someone said they needed a "mental health break" in college or even mentioned they are mentally ill when he was our age they would be roasted to high hell. Now most universities and even community colleges include therapy in tuition for a low cost or no cost.

That's exactly the mindset that does fuck society up. What needs to be said is that if you rely on just society to fix things then you will be mediocre. People should be told to be ambitious and take responsibility for their own lives. I don't buy this zero sum game crap. If every man went outside and made a real effort to work on self esteem, confidence, social skills, and looks, there would be barely any sexless men. Same goes for most societal issues. It's crazy the level of delusion that goes into the belief that western society is going to collapse because average men can't get laid from a couple low effort selfies and pics posted to a dating app that's 70% male.

It's really hard to trust any photos on dating apps anyway. When I was 16 in high school I had a car, and I would always walk to it 2 hours after classes ended. There were these two girls who would hang out in the parking lot at that time every day. My first step was starting with little stuff, I used to listen to music in my car, and at stoplights I would turn the music down because I was worried about other people hearing it and judging me. So I started turning the volume to the highest setting at stoplights instead. You brought this up but authenticity is the key here. Being "nice" in a pandering, low self esteem, inoffensive, validation-seeking way will make you finish last. Being authentic and also nice is fine. My jui Jitsu instructor is a nice guy and he let me have a few weeks of free classes when I was broke because my catalytic converter got stolen. But nobody in hell would ever call him a "nice guy" in the context that people use when talking about dating.

I sort of wonder if part of the problem is "vibing" with people too much. As a nerdy white guy who's into hiking and backpacking and smokes weed, in Seattle I feel pretty in place and like I don't stand out too much. In my hometown I felt like a total wierdo. But on the other hand no girl is going to be impressed by that here, she can find 80 guys just like me no problem. The only times I have had success with women in Seattle is when I branched out and hung out with non nerdy people.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/23 08:58 PM

What are the best US cities you have found for dating? I was visiting Albuquerque and to my surprise I got way more and better matches here, and they actually responded to my messages. /r/PurplePillDebate14/07/23 04:31 PM

This changes my view. I did some research and I found one source on the 0.6% rate. You are also correct, I'm embarrassed I overlooked the average vs median point. If average guys truly are working with that little volume, it is bad. I still think that it's worth a try for guys to take good pictures and post them on 2 or 3 apps. And obviously working on social skills and fitness are things dudes should do anyway, which will both improve their online dating results.

Im not as big a slayer as him but I have had sex with 5 girls at 20. 3 from abusing Xanax, molly, LSD, weed, and alcohol and hanging out with that crowd. 1 was a 3 month fling and then she broke up with me citing me being a wierdo, and 1 was a girl I met last semester as a TA in a calc 1 class. Still talking to her, really hoping it works out with her because I think we actually have potential to have an actual good long term relationship but who knows.

Okay I guess I didn't explain well enough. I have a monotone voice, don't make eye contact naturally, I have sensory issues (as a kid I had to wear headphones in big crowds) still sensitive to bright lights and loud sounds, as a kid I also had echolalia and still have it today if I'm tired, have always hated being touched, and I've have had multiple people point blank ask me if I'm autistic. Especially since I'm not diagnosed I never tell people irl that I think I have it because your right it d…

Idk how to define "autism." The reason I say I'm probably on the spectrum is because for most my childhood I was a complete loner. And people tell me I have a monotone voice and don't make eye contact. But compared to some of the people I meet in a CS class I'm the most NT person on the planet. So idk if it's a severity thing or if I'm just a wierd NT person or what.

I was talking to my roommate last night drunk and he told me he's autistic.. It was very surprising since he's a construction worker, jacked, does BJJ, and is a really outgoing funny guy, who doesn't take shit. One of the funniest guys I have ever met. Definitely not a stereotypical autist at all. Only thing I noticed is he seems very logical and maybe doesn't make eye contact as much as you might expect. But I'm also probably on the spectrum so maybe I don't pick up on his weirdness as easily. …

I don't get your point? I genuinely do feel bad for her since she's tall enough where it's totally reasonable for her to want 6 ft or taller guys, and in that city guys who take religion seriously is small pool. She's just made a correct observation, I don't see how it's brainwashing.

I have been in a CS class (85% male) and had a girl say roughly this "it really sucks that the only normal guys in CS are always taken." My sister is tall and looking for a religious guy and she complains how small her dating pool is and how tall religious guys tend to have a lot of options. Haven't you ever hung out with female friends and one says "oh this sucks x looks cuter than me today." Or been in a friend group where two girls like the same guy? (This kind of drama can be way more brutal…

Yeah this is so true about the neuroticism/anxiety thing. I think it's partly just a masculine vs feminine thing. Like being a bit socially awkward is okay as long as it's not in an unmanly 'beta' way. When I was addicted to Xanax I had way more options compared to when I'm my normal anxious neurotic self. If anything I sometimes feel like I have a benefit over normal people when I'm high because I can think of obscure funny shit to say.

They don't "ask you out" directly but they will make the first move. Especially if alcohol or drugs are involved. Like a girl stands near you at a party and smiles. Then you start talking to her and she's touching you a bunch. She basically is taking more action than you. I have seen a guy get asked out directly one time though that's super rare.

I'm a non-NT guy and I find I do better with girls who are more social. Couples should compliment each other's strengths and weaknesses. Realistically the best advice for guys of any kind is to not limit themselves to one specific niche of women. This applies to both men and women, but breaking into social groups with social people is way easier, which seemed counterintuitive because I always saw them as more "high status, and me as "low status." But in reality I found a lot of my fellow nerdy t…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/23 08:15 AM

Well I definitely don't want to look like I high school student, I would much rather look 20. But I think looking even older than 20 like maybe 25 would be better for getting taken more seriously at work.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/23 09:41 AM

I started at 110 pounds and now I'm 150. If I was a more normal skinny dude and not holocaust survivor level of skinny then I would probably be closer to 170 by now.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/23 05:16 AM

Why is it repeated that you should look at a girls relationship with her father and judge her off that? I can't understand this at all. I have a horrible relationship with both my parents and the only way we could have a "good" one is if I was a spineless pushover. In some ways I would prefer I girl whose been through some shit, rich girls with good parents are usually entitled and whiney. But I wouldn't judge either girl based of this stuff until I got to know her better.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/23 04:40 AM

How jacked do you have to be to look older? I'm 20 and I have been lifting for 2 years now and have 15 inch arms and I still get called "kid" all the time by people who look 20s themselves. Kinda annoying. Also when I say I'm in school people ask me if it's high school or college. Am I coping if I think another year or two in the gym will make me look 25?

I never said anything about changing any rules, the only thing I said is changing education. Put aside sex, loneliness is an epidemic that's getting worse. People have few close friends. Young people are moving out WAY less. And yes, Both young men and women are having less sex than in the past. The education system and culture in general needs to encourage people to seek friendships, relationships, and sex. Also encourage people to not fucking give up on life and never move out of their parents…

I just think from a personal care perspective its good if people are taught the dangers of sexlessness and loneliness and the effects it can have on you mentally. You can recognize something as a need without coming to the conclusion that you are entitled to it. If some guy was 25 working at McDonald's for 15 hours a week and barely scraping by renting out a room in a crack house for 500 a month, and eating lentils every night. People ought to tell him, hey I think you need to pick up some more …

Just because something is a need doesn't mean you are entitled to it. Imo sex is a need for some people, but that doesn't mean it's society's problem. I have a high sex drive, and my mental health and well being have improved drastically from having some sex. Now that I have finally had sex, intimacy and closeness I know how important it is, and I know it's a need. In the future if I ever experience a dry spell, now I know that for me sex is a need, so I should lower my standards, approach a bun…

Entire books need to be written on this topic
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/23 07:17 AM

Oh ya I was commenting about this the other day too. People are not nearly as judgemental as anyone with an anxiety disorder thinks. You have to fuck up pretty bad to actually get negative responses from people. But just neutral or not being accepted happens all the time if you are anxious and awkward. The other thing I have noticed that's really suprising is people that are perceived as "high status" and social are actually way less judgemental and those groups are way easier to break into. My …
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/23 06:33 AM

It's hard. I am learning to emulate my drug/alcohol personality and the results are good. But back when I had panic attacks talking to groups while sober I was not accepted at all which only spiraled the self esteem and anxiety issues. If you really haven't ever had friends your whole life and you are 19 its a huge jump. I unironically think there should be classes in college on social skills.

The fact that this is a common social phenomenon makes it even worse. These shallow and transactional relationships build on eachother. If everyone is playing games you have to play the game too. The gender wars are a cancer on society.

This depends a lot on pictures. Average OLD pictures are god awful. Selfies, nice guy body language, super posed pictures, tons of group photos, depressed serial killer in his mothers basement selfies. But even with average pictures you can get a few matches and with decent game you can convert those. Especially if you are on 4 different apps. Tbh I'm surprised the nerdy engineering types don't look into this more. You go on 4 different apps, manipulate the algorithms, read studies on best photo…

I worded that in a wierd way. I mean there's a 100% chance that you will do better cold approaching than OLD. Not even close to a 100% success rate on either. Just because most people do something a certain way doesn't mean it's the best way to go about it. Most Americans finance the most expensive car they can possibly afford, and get a different one every five years. That doesn't prove that it's the best way to go about car ownership.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 07:57 PM

OLD isn't completely awful, you just need good pictures. Nobody understands how powerful the picture pill is. But cold approach 100% has a higher success rate. What data are you referring to?

I can't believe I made dating out to be so difficult. Not all red pillers but both the blackpill and the redpill make it out to be such a big deal and so difficult. You have to have game, you have to have looks, money, status, you have to wait till your older, competition is brutal, hypergamy etc etc. Now you do have to put more effort into it than taking a couple autistic selfies in your bedroom and posting them on tinder. But holy shit, as soon as I gained even a small amount of social skills,…

What do you mean by "learning" it? Maybe to be good at it you have to learn... But I really don't see how just starting a conversation is going to be unsafe or "extremely harmful." Unless you do something genuinely autistic like approach girls in dark parking garages or don't leave if they seem uncomfortable.

I just think they are loser in terms of getting women. How many guys who are able to get a girlfriend easily choose to move to thailand or something? If you are playing a game and you can't get even close to beating it on the "normal" difficulty, so you switch to the "easy" mode, you suck at the game.

While I do think being a passport bro indicates you are some form of loser in the west, I do have respect for them. A lot of guys just give up after they make some OLD profile with a couple autistic car selfies. At least passport bros are taking some real action to improve their lives.

Depends entirely on genetics. But go on r/brogress and look up '6 months' or '1 year.' there's definitely some decent examples. Tbh I'm kinda jealous of guys who started fat. I started at 110 and it took me two years to get to 150 lean. Where as some fat dude can just cut/recomp from 170 to 150 in 6 months and he's basically at the same spot it took me 2 years to get to. In 2 more years I will be more jacked and more social but will it be as big of a difference as going from 110 pounds to 150 or going from having a panic attack just from leaving my room to being able to cold approach? Have any of you ever known any gymcels? Let's define it as a guy who is lean and looks like he can rep out a 225 bench press. Maybe 275 if he's really tall. Whenever I talk to gym guys the conversation often steers towards girls, or partying, or past relationships, or social stories. I don't always have evidence that they get laid, but I have never once met some jacked dude who came off as a virgin loser wierdo. my 2 roommates I knew who lifted I know for sure they were getting some.

Maybe it's just an anxiety thing for me and not autism though, I'm not diagnosed. I am just obligated to challenge these sorts of comments, because they really hurt me in the past. I didn't even bother trying because I thought everyone knew I was a wierdo, would know I'm a wierdo, everyone hated me, and that I was doomed to be a virgin outcast for life. Idk if I would call popping a pill masking. Literally the first night I took xanax, I was a 19 YO KHHV. That night I approached a bunch of girls at my college, I think I got 15 phone numbers and 4 dates from that, than lost my virginity to one of those dates, on the first date, and she was attractive too. This is why I argue on here with women who say they are experts about "smelling" (insecurity, autism, virginity, desperation, narcissism, etc. etc.). Like women are psychic social wizards or so…

I always wonder about woman's ability to pick up on "being on the spectrum," or rationally caring. Idk for sure if I'm on it but I probably am, I scored in the 99.99th percentile in standardized math tests when I was younger, and eye contact doesn't come naturally to me, monotone voice, so some pretty big signs. But it seems more like an anxiety and confidence thing, rather than a judgement if someone is on the spectrum. When I was addicted to benzos I had no problem getting laid whatsoever. Now…

I really like the dating coach on YouTube "playing with fire" he gives great action oriented advice that works. But his videos get 14k views because nobody wants to hear it. They would rather watch someone shit on women and tell them it's not their fault, millions of views on those videos. I do sorta agree with you that there isn't good cultural guidance. /r/PurplePillDebate05/06/23 07:31 PM

Ya, I get other people are in different circumstances. If you got kids or are trying to buy a house or something, I get why you have the right to complain. Or if you already have a degree and debt and can't find a good job, okay that's a different situation. But just as a young dude I'm able to get by just fine working 15-20 hours as a student in Colorado. I work a bit more in the summer but even without that extra money I would be totally fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/23 06:38 PM

This is a US centric comment. But this is total bullshit. Community college is free for everyone in most states, free for poor people with the pell grant in every state. Get good grades in community college, and you can get scholarships for 4 year schools. Even with no scholarships four year state schools only cost like 10k a year which isn't much debt if you are getting a decent degree.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/23 06:27 PM

Agreed, people have no perspective on history and gen Z is soft and takes less action in general. This hurts men more in dating, but being action less as a women is bad in other areas of life. There's literally more young people living at home today than during the great depression. Most "manosphere" content is videos and videos on hypergamy, female nature, money and status. For young guys who often already have self esteem issues, it's really bad. When Andrew Tate says stuff like women won't ev…

Well daily it's not going to do anything. At that point you are just an addict maintaining your addiction. Remember the first time you took it how little anxiety you had? The first time I took a benzo I thought to myself "hmm I really lonely I'm gonna go talk to some girls."
