I know where I am, I accept the downvotes. Is this person important, is this a mainstream viewpoint? Why upvote one person with extreme views. If this was an organization it might warrant a post, this just feels pointless exposure. I'm sure I can find plenty of crazies on the opposite side saying dumb ass shit.

You missed the point or are responding to another comment. The guy above you was just asking if they were actually a guy or the lady was just going around telling people she thought he was a guy.

Well if people weren't brought up in a tight assed sexualized society, it'd go to, People changing in front of other people because who cares? (The way things are now though you probably shouldn't change in a Womens locker room if you still have your junk)

How can an Accusation without Physical evidence or witness's lead to a conviction? Failure on so many levels...what is wrong with the Jury.

Christian college can ban you for having sex outside marriage. Pretty sure private colleges can get away with a metric ton of shit.

I don't get the circle jerk that Universities should be any more responsibility then anyone else for someones safety. If someone rapes someone in your apartment complex there isn't codes that allow landlords to kick them out. Why do they have any input is beyond me. If you get raped call the police and file a restraining order. If it has merit a court wont allow the other person to attend the same classes or whatever while pending trail.

I probably would have let it go....riiight up until the point he continued to call me publicly a pedophile. That's when I'd start pressing charges and suing.

What an asshole father, take responsibility that you made a series of mistakes(Not looking after your child, Misidentifying a kidnapper) none of which were this guy you punched fault. Some people are incapable of being wrong.

Pretty sure it was mostly a religious thing, or at least short sighted. If you were focused on child rearing then make a child rearing legal agreement. Not sure how other aspects not associated with child rearing don't also apply to gay couples. They are joining a financial union, get various legal protections/rights like inheritance on death/visitation in hospitals and such. Marriage is just a legal amalgamation of various other legal rights that could be separate agreements.

"It's not sexist to want a man to come to your rescue when in a burning building. He stands a much better chance of carrying me out if I'm unable to move." What you meant to say is it's not sexist to want the most qualified/fit person to come to your rescue.

Phrasing of the initial question is important. -Women earn 77c on average compared to 1$ per men. If you take the average income of men and Women working age it probably works out like this -If you phrase the question "For doing the same work", then it gets more complicated and you have to start taking into account more variables. A big one being actual job titles. -If you take into account even more variables you start getting into the realm of statistical insignificance and things like, do Wom…

I'm assuming the procedure in question is court specific and judges have a lot of leeway in court specific procedures. If the procedure was cooked into the actual state law, that's a different story. He still could have told him "I can either throw this out now or you can get an attorney and we can reschedule"
/r/MensRights26/10/16 04:59 PM

I sort of did and it worked out well. The only thing I wanted to do was see a prosecutor about a plea deal before having to deal with paying for an attorney. Had to jump through a lot of hoops and explain in detail to the judge what statues I was being charged with...blablabla. The second I get in a room the prosecutor offers me literally the lowest possible charge, which was eligible to be taken off your record(which is what I was all I was shooting for). All and all came out paying much less t…

The judge could have told him that and rescheduled The validity of a DNA test isn't going suddenly change or be tampered with in any meaningful way. If the court required a "fresh" test they can request it then maintain a chain of custody. Minor allowances should be given to people who want to represent themselves. Lawyers are insanely expensive and a detriment to justice when the cost of that lawyer might have easily wiped out any benefit of him trying to stop paying child support in the first …

So the judge tells the guy that he didn't file it properly and that the process is their for a reason. "If you continue to represent yourself after this I will not afford you any further leniency, I highly suggest you get outside counsel. Please do xx/yy to schedule another hearing", seems really fucking basic if the judge actually had a reason to not accept the evidence(He probably didn't).

I meant the mother can just never tell the father the child exists/the child isn't his.

The mother can always just not tell the Father, and say she doesn't know who the father is.

I am aware it existed/not available, it is promising but as a preventative vs post measure it really doesn't address the issue, I figured it was more of a tangent.(Like how someone posted there were many different forms of Women birth Control)

Apart from the Dumpster, I consider safe haven laws just quicker adoptions/foster systems.

Birth Control covers your things, I could break it out but I figured my point was made without specifying.

There are many choices/preventative steps they can make up until the point of the 9 months of carrying a child to relieve themselves of that burden if they want. I would not go so far as to say that a man could on day one "abort" their responsibility for a child. I think there should be some responsable "support" fee for anyone that is a biological parent and relinquishes their responsibility for a child(Man or Woman), that fee should be resonable and not tied to a person's income(Unless they do…

Agreed, adoption is 100% though. I haven't heard of an abortion failing though....I assume they would just do it again.

Would you be for Womens wages be garnished into the foster system if she gives her child up for adoption? Just curious, they make the baby then flake on the responsibility in a similar way a man would in this scenario.
/r/MensRights10/03/16 06:53 PM

Better than thinking about it as aborting(Moral issues all over this), think about it like adoption. Why can Women just give their children up without paying into the foster system for years and years?
/r/MensRights10/03/16 06:48 PM

Lets see all the ways a Women can relinquish/stop responsibility for caring for a child -Birth Control -Day After Pill -Abortion -Adoption Guys Choices: -Condom(Not even 100% effective) -Invasive Surgery(Vasectomy EDIT:Also Apparently not 100%) If Women are allowed to give up their right to take care of a child the same right should be given to men. Abortion is a sticky issue, an easier one is just adoption. If Men reject responsibility for their children they are forced to pay for it's support,…

They said just be wary of false abuse but then gave an example of a guy with a scratch on his face, which was meant to be possibly a self defense wound(the guy is the one who called the police).

In the same section as they imply guys calling for a domestic abuse might be lying to cover their own abuse, they go on to say that it is strongly discouraged to arrest both parties. -.-

I would just like to point out, this is not the meaning of wage gap. A wage gap is people in a similar position/qualifications/tenure.

It's pretty simple, regardless of prepreg status a man has X amount of time after being informed about pregnancy to accept or reject parental rights. If you want to have some kind of pre-nup agreement to pre-accept parental rights before conception then you can sign something like that also.(Maybe if you are thero make it contingent on paternity test.) It's honestly not that hard and treats everyone like adults and backs everything up in agreements law. States aren't going to implement this thou…

http://www.lifenews.com/2014/07/17/planned-parenthood-didnt-report-rape-of-teen-girl-allowing-rapist-to-rape-others/ Something about planned parenthood conversation(that I'm sure wasn't recorded) so I'm also not sure how that could be used as concrete evidence....I'm not saying if this kid did it one way or another, but I'd really like to know what they can point to as grounds for holding him.

I'm still looking and the most I could find was some mention about text records of him threatening a girl. xD how can you hold someone without bond for text msg's. Pretty sure those aren't admissible anyway.

Put her at gunpoint, videotaped it....used it for blackmail and threatened her family? I'm almost sure the defense will be nothing like this and a crock of shit, but I dunno I haven't seen it yet.
/r/MensRights19/02/15 09:02 PM

If the video shows her being "forced" then she might have some kind of defense. If you have a video of yourself having sex with someone underage while they have a gun to your head then obviously you could be the victim. I don't think that's what happened but we'll see what "Aggression" is on the video. (I think the defense is crock shit, but I leave the possibility, I don't know anyone involved or what happened)

The parents told the daycare(w/e) to not employ him b/c he is a male, the daycare(w/e) listened and denied him employment because of his sex. Super clear cut discrimination right there. Now it'd be a total other thing if a parent said they saw him interacting improperly with children or something, but that's not my understanding of the situation. The only way I could really see the guy learning of this was in the process of being employed someone in charge told him they had to change their mind …

He seems pretty matter of fact that they didn't hire him because of a parents issue about his gender. I'm assuming he received some verbal or written communication of such. Unless the person that told him wants to commit perjury.

The article leaves out it was a temporary situation, or severely diminishes how temporary the situation was. It left out how after the child custody issue was sorted out they would reschedule another hearing. It completely left out the part of her having to prove she was getting a job. I did read the article and it doesn't mention these points. Again I'm not saying it's fair but those points were left out, they were pointed out in the final court document about why the court choose the way it di…

There is something similar in Texas but it's not automatic. (1) an agreement to be married; (2) cohabitation in Texas; and (3) representation to others that the parties are married.
/r/MensRights14/08/13 05:04 PM

Alright I'm just going to throw some info as some stuff that might be important is being left out. The full custody 96% was temporary until the case of the child was finished, it very well could have been overturned at any time giving the mother back original custody. Also this 10,000 was around 1-3% of his income.(Might not matter but it's worth pointing out) The court actually put a stipulation on the 8k that she prove she was trying to find employment, they also scheduled a review hearing to …
