Unless, like me, you consider maternity leave a basic need. I feel the same about paternity leave, also. The benefits to having Mom and Dad at home for the first couple weeks of an infant's life are pretty substantial. And at any rate, is should be paid for by the company or its insurance, not the government. Government is just there to make the rule that says every company must. I'm for programs that help people like struggling mothers. Paying for their enjoyment isn't one. This sounds like a contradiction. Sexual and psychological maturity are not tightly coupled things. A boy is "sexually" mature as soon as there are functional sperm cells in his cum, which can happen as early as 11 or 12. That doesn't mean he's mature enough to... well, do anything that a mature person does, like get drunk or forget to pay bills.
