If the accused is found not guilty, that is all the proof necessary for the accuser to be found as breaking the law. There aren't two separate cases, both are together, and there is no presumption of innocence if you have already been proven guilty without a doubt from the other case

Not exactly. All the early cells have a random chance of turning off one X chromosome or the other and when they divide this is carried over. The result is that females are a "mosaic" of the 2 possibilities, with their cells split roughly in half between the 2.
