6	Dating Ideas Don't take her to a movie. The only reason that people think that the movies are a good date spot now is because it was years ago in the days of drive-ins, when it was more of a social experience. You want to be able to actually talk to her, get to know her; and she wants to get to know you. Two hours of watching a movie and occasionally making a side comment here and there is not the way to do that. Take her to dinner or coffee or a walk through town.
