As someone who works for an insurance company this is a bit misleading. A well woman exam is an annual visit with an OB/GYN for a check up and usually a pap smear as well. An annual "physical" is a check up with a primary care doctor (think General practice, Internal medicine, pediatrician, family practice). At the very least, whoever sold him the ticket should have given him a full refund right then and there. I agree also that this is a blatant double standard, as feminists successfully sued years ago to ban "mens clubs" on discrimination grounds. Private clubs are still allowed to discriminate like that, but they had better be truly private, membership fee and all. The guy will probably win, or at least get a nice settlement.

I'll be honest, I find myself conflicted with this one. By the letter of the law, this was most certainly a crime, but the fact that the kid clearly was a consenting participant when he went around bragging to his friends about how he was getting some, says to me that he didn't consider this detrimental to himself, or that he was abused.

As despicable as this is, the kid was 11. Parents going through nasty divorce, I'd also agree mommy was coaching this once she got wind of it. Prosecuting the kid solves nothing because at 11 do we all really understand how devastating something like this is? I doubt it. Now if this girl was say 16 or 17 then charges should be filed as by that point there's no excuse. You know how much that ruins someone's life at that point.

That's why guys need to go to the press about these things. The words kangaroo court and wrongful conviction make for very interesting headlines and hopefully bring more scrutiny to these things. Colleges like any other organization hate bad PR. If it gets into the public mindset that a college isn't bothering to actually investigate an allegation and simply goes through the motions, ruining someone's life in the process, there will be serious backlash.
