Well to be fair alot of people go Mgtow before discovering Mgtow. (Hell I was one of those cases) it just kinda obvious nowadays that dating just isnt a good idea.

I think MGTOW is a inherently selfish philosophy, despite that I think it is still a over all good thing because it helps promote focusing on ones self which a lot of men forget to do expessily when in relationships.

For me it depends on how you introduce yourself, if you introduce yourself as a girl I'm going to recognize you as a girl. Even after surgery it going to take me a long time to recognize you as a different gender.

I remember reading one story where a young boy (like 5) had wanted to become a girl right, so the put him on hormones, but as he got older something changed and he no longer wanted to he a girl, but it was to late he was already on hormones. So based on stories like that it is probably best to wait until you at least 18.

Im also 17, was dating a girl awhile back. I liked her well enough but I realized something, the more I was with her the more I wanted to be alone. I had essentially realized I hated dating, so I broke up with her and swore off dating. Soon after I found MGTOW and I'm glad for it.
