Why would we lower ourselves to that level? Men's rights is better than that.

I obviously wasn't there but it sounds to me like something spoken tongue-in-cheek, a joke. It doesn't invalidate that these sort of things do indeed happen and are not at all uncommon and men should always use protection and be careful but getting all hurt in the feels about a joke is exactly the kind of thing that we criticize feminism for. A joke's just a joke. Don't rustle your feels over it.

Just be careful that your an ex-girlfriend doesn't forge your signature and gets herself pregnant using your frozen sperm without your consent. e.g: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/8544783/Woman-had-two-children-after-secretly-taking-ex-husbands-frozen-sperm.html

I'm sorry if it's too personal a question, but do you regret getting married? Not the children, just the marriage itself. If you could do it all over again would you still get married to your wife? Or to someone else?

Maybe it's just me, but none of those reasons seem at all creepy to me. Men in general prefer younger looking women, as long as she doesn't look like she's 12 you're good. Having a preference for a dominant or submissive partner is most definitely not creepy and something the majority of people have even if they do not consciously admit it. I'd also say that the vast majority of western men including myself prefer lighter women. Embrace the thin privilege.

Israel is not a religious state. The biggest demand is for kosher food so that's what most places are selling. There's plenty of non-kosher restaurants and shops.

That's the thing a lot of people don't seem to realize. Marriage is not any kind of guarantee for love and even if you were in love when you got married it most definitely doesn't guarantee that you will keep being in love. On the other hand plenty of people are in love and are not married. So why not just be in a serious relationship and get to keep your financial future secure? This is not the 50's anymore. Plenty of women willing to be in a relationship without getting married.
/r/MensRights18/09/13 03:16 PM

I agree. Too many people fail to realize that at it's essence marriage is basically a business contract and the biggest financial decision most people will probably get to make. People and men especially need to think long and hard whether they are willing to risk their entire financial future on another person loving them for 40-50 years. Common law marriages tend to be a lot fairer than marriage. No lifetime alimony and you get to keep what you had coming into the marriage? Definitely not as b…

A prenup has a good chance of being rendered void in many states due because either it will be deemed "Unfair" at the divorce or the judge will believe that the circumstances have changed so much that it no longer applies. Depending on where you live a prenup might not be worth the paper it was written on. You can have a committed woman without ever getting married, and being married does not guarantee that your wife will stay committed to you. The only difference is that you will be risking you…

If I remember correctly those were coins meant to be exchanged for sex acts that were depicted on the coins with prostitutes. Pretty sure that they wouldn't care that it was demeaning as long as they were paid.

No tax benefits are worth the potential and all too likely risk of divorce... As for the patriarchy, how exactly do men benefit from these kinds of things? If anything this is part of the matriarchy. That second comment is really idiotic. Courts do not award custody to fathers because they have to work hard and provide for their families? Give custody to the mothers without child support so that they have to actually work to provide for themselves and see how much time they get to spend with their children.
/r/MensRights28/05/13 06:55 AM
1

I don't have much to add beyond what was already said in this post except for one thing. You can't waive child support, not for sole custody or for anything. It's not legally possible. Child support is theoretically meant for the child, not the mother.
/r/MensRights14/05/13 09:47 AM

I can definitely foresee her divorcing the poor guy in the near future, while still taking advantage of him financially. It just goes to show, no matter how trusting you are of your partner ALWAYS do a paternity test even just to remove any shred of doubt. The hurt feelings will pass quickly, 18 years of child support for a child who isn't yours will not.

Hit her back. I've been in pretty much the same situation you are now with my own mother. Hit her back once, hard enough for her to realize how it feels like to be hit and I can guarantee to you she will think twice before hitting you again.
/r/MensRights17/04/13 05:35 AM

On the contrary, she is completely aware of what she is doing and saying. This is simply a defense mechanism on her part, shifting the blame from herself and her actions to others.
/r/MensRights30/03/13 06:26 AM

It's also biologically impossible for two women to have children, your point? Gay married women will adopt children and so will married gay men. Implying there's some sort of global conspiracy to remove fathers from the family unit by letting gay women marry is about as silly as the whole 'patriarchy' non-sense.

Anyone who has sex with a minor under the age of consent is a pedophile in the eyes of the law.
/r/MensRights03/03/13 07:54 PM
5

If an adult has sex with a 15 year old child he will be tried as a pedophile for statutory rape. You can argue semantics all you like, but it doesn't change the facts. A 15 year old cannot legally consent when the age of consent in higher than 15.
/r/MensRights03/03/13 07:48 PM
5

A person below the age of consent is a child in the eyes of the law. An adult having sex with said child is a pedophile in the eyes of the law. I am not aware of such harsher penalties. A child is a child whether 15 years old, 13 years old or 8 years old and an adult having sex with a child of any of those ages will be considered a pedophile and tried as such.
/r/MensRights03/03/13 07:41 PM
3

In the eyes of the law and all matters legal it does. If age of consent is 16 and an adult sleeps with a 15 year old, that adult will be tried and considered a pedophile for all matters and purposes. The semantics argument on what to call him doesn't matter, because the outcome will be the same.
/r/MensRights03/03/13 07:26 PM
4

You don't seem to be getting it. If the law of consent is 16, then having sex with a child under 16 makes a man or woman a pedophile. If the law of consent is 18, having sex with a child under 18 makes a man or woman a pedophile in the eyes of the law. And yes, as far as sexual intercourse with adults is concerned in most western civilized countries adults having sex with 14 year olds is considered statutory rape and wrong.
/r/MensRights03/03/13 07:09 PM
2

In the eyes of the law an adult engaging in sexual acts with a minor is a pedophile. And the law is what matters here. Just so that we are on the same page here, do you feel that adults should have sex with children aged 12-15?

I disagree with you. Knowing whether the children you are raising and investing the better years of your life in are yours or not is not a priviledge to be given or taken at the whim of the courts, it's a fundamental right of every man. Women should not be able to name any man they like as a father if they are not married, it is too easy to abuse such a system. In the U.S men have a month to contest such a claim, and quite often the men is not informed at all or too late to do anything about it.…

I believe a better option is for those who are in France to attempt to appeal the law, and for those of us who live in countries still not having reached this point fight any and all sexist and biased laws that are presented.
/r/MensRights14/02/13 08:57 PM
2

He might, he might not. We don't know since the child is below the age of consent. However, in that case why should a 'father' pay child support to a child who may or may not be his? In that case, withhold child support until such a time that consent can be given and then child support payments can begin. It's only fair, right?
/r/MensRights14/02/13 08:45 PM
1

And if the courts refuse, which is a very likely to happen 'for the benefit of the child'?
/r/MensRights14/02/13 08:42 PM
1

Say she refuses and divorced him? Good luck with paying child support for children who may not be yours.
/r/MensRights14/02/13 08:33 PM
1

What is wrong in 'Illegal secret testing'? DNA testing has advanced to the point where all you need is a swab of spit from the cheek. Knowing whether the children a father is raising are biologically his is a fundamental right not to be dependent on the whims of courts and biased mothers. A person should not have to be economically enslaved for 18 years for children who are not his if he does not want to.
/r/MensRights14/02/13 08:32 PM
2

It still leaves some doubt as she can try to manipulate it into being a trust issue.
/r/MensRights14/02/13 10:58 AM

When an inherently biased party has the power to veto a DNA test then it's the same as if they were not allowed to do one at all.
/r/MensRights14/02/13 07:47 AM

Mothers already know that the child is theirs. It is the 'fathers' who are forced to pay 18 years of child support to children who may not be theirs.

Get a lawyer. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING, from texts to e-mails to everything. If possible, place a few hidden cameras in your house. If you catch her slapping your child out of anger or doing anything legally harmful record it. After you tell her you caught her and proceed with a divorce, never meet her in person without unbiased witnesses. Better yet, don't meet her in person at all. All communications should go through the lawyers. Good luck, bro.

It's not good enough. Stricter gun controls are just knee-jerk reaction to the shooting which attempts to cover up the issue and make people feel like something is being done, while in all actuality it is just a cover for the real problem. We need to focus on the real problem which is the state of mental health care in this country, and not just do things that will make us feel better until the next killing spree comes along.

It doesn't matter if he kills 5 people with an axe or 15 with a shotgun, he should not be in a position to kill anyone. Truth hurts, baby. Better get the hard and cold facts straight than the 'it will all be alright just hold on and love each other' crap. So does an abortion. Either way, until we get a male birth control pill vasectomy is the best way to control unwanted pregnancy for men.

Not at all. You don't want to have kids at all, or at least at some period in your life? Store sperm in a sperm bank in case you ever change your mind and get a vasectomy.
