In a cash song he says he shot a man in reno just to watch him die. There is no victim who has ever came forward claiming she robbed him. So there would be zero chances of charges filed over her statement. Artists make claims all the time, most are false. Did biggie and Jay z actually sell drugs before they started selling records? Likely but jury could convict based solely on a generic statement. Ps, wouldn't know a cardi b song if I heard one so I absolutely don't have a dog in the fight.

Saying the criminal background enhanced their persona is very key. 2pac and biggie weren't shooting people left and right, they talked up a story they knew to be true for alot of people. Cardi b saying she robbed people isn't much different than Johnny Cash shooting a man in reno just to watch him die.

After that let's go after Johnny Cash for shooting that guy in reno

I know we shouldn't know the contents of that letter until after the case is over but damn, what the hell could've been in there?

And not even a "big" black guy, I guess that's what threw the cops off.

But maybe just maybe could she have not been truthful when she just freely admitted to committing multiple felonies? Ever hear a celebrity tell stories about how their upbringing was super rough, grew up poor, in the thick of gang violence, drug addicted parents, ect. Then you find out they themselves grew up in much different circumstances. I feel like she is much more likely to be embellishing her past for cred than she was to be openly admitting to a handful of serious felonies.

There's a difference between telling a story that may or may not have happened (as in Mr. Cash) and something that we know happened. The problem is, we only have her statement so we don't know what happened. Is she so trustworthy that it is impossible to believe she lied or fabricated the story?

We may need to cross post this over to r/conspiracy, something just isn't adding up

She was actually claiming she was a victim, where is cardi b's victim?

Yeah, my thoughts exactly.

There isn't any given in that screenshot and it doesn't look like anyone has given any in these comments either so I'm going to go with there isn't any evidence of an actual crime outside of her making those statements.

She is an artist too correct? I know my example is a bit extreme but it's the same "someone bragged about a crime" for clout or for story telling.

Johnny Cash once admitted to shooting a man in reno for the sole purpose of watching him die, but no actual charges were ever filed.

Guessing it's the same as reverse racism.... A term a racist uses when they get a taste of their own medicine.

He couldve punched her in her face. I guess he could've turned and ran into his house and watched to see if she started damaging his property. She 100% took it too far

But she lived. Lately the logic is resist arrest and it's OK to kill. This women resisted but somehow the cop was able to keep his gun holstered and handle the situation with as little force as possible.

She hit officer A and then was punched by officer B who was standing behind her. We can argue what defines a sucker punch after you concede officer B committed police brutality.

In a just world the officer doesn't sucker punch the woman. Is this not a clear cut case of police brutality or does that only apply when the officer is white?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
