Good point. I honestly agree that they don't seem like great books. I don't think the books are really about everyone getting shat upon... Moreso, I think they're about teaching the lesson that people aren't so complex that they can be treated like animals. The titles are based on the main character's thought going in, but the conflict arises when it doesn't work like she thought it would.
