Do you know what’s funny, in the Latin American community of Reddit people tend to lean hard to the right.

I never said he was a victim, he is sick in the head. It’s just that the press here treated Valentina as an innocent victim in all of these, which we wasn’t. She was a victim and did not deserve to be murdered, but she was playing with fire for a long time.

I don’t really think it’s a outta desperation a lot of times, it’s more like a lot of ambition to the point of not caring about anyone else.

I agree it goes both ways, it’s just that online opinions make you think the power dynamics go only one way, which is not the case at all.

I entirely agree on your response. I think (maybe out of ignorance) that Americans underestimate how educated/ambitious Latin Americans are, and consequently think that they can leverage the money way more than they actually can. I also agree that the most successful Americans in dating here in the Colombia are very attractive anyways and that very unattractive American guys in Colombia will get a reality check.

You are right, there is a right or wrong way of doing it. If you lead with your wallet and the woman is a ho then she’ll begin saying stuff like “oh my mother is sick I need monkey for [insert reason here]”, then your relationship is probably bad from the get go. However there are good women who would love to meet someone from abroad, and even move out of their country for them if the guy is also a good guy. You just have to be careful about who you meet and don’t try to take the easy way out wi…

I see, I’m talking about guys who want a relationship to a “non western” woman, and expect things to be much more different in Colombia than in the US.

Yeah I would agree with that.

In some cases it is, but not every time. There are multiple cases of American guys leaving everything (even a home with kids) in the US to come over some illusion a chick gave him, only for it to be a sham. Look up the Valentina Trespalacios case, she was doing that to multiple men and at the end she did it to the wrong guy.

Maybe in some families the father might be controlling but it is disingenuous to think that physical violence is common in LATAM families. Also, honour? Really? Nobody gives a f about honour here lol.

Your argument ignores the fact that cities/societal organization other than small hunter gatherer tribes have existed just for a fraction of a percent of human existence. You cannot say that modern societies have had enough time to biologically influence the brain, when the oldest known cities are a couple of thousand years old, while humans have existed for hundreds of thousands of years. Evolutionary processes in animals with the lifespan of humans take much longer than thousands of years.

So, if assholes land huge amounts of women and by your logic only mentally ill or dysfunctional women fall for them, then there are huge amounts of mentally ill/dysfunctional women?

Yes but only if abortion is legal if not then no. However this will never get in the books as not a single politician would risk their careers over such an impopular policy.

No. Women get the same legal protections as men. The law is written in such a way that every human is protected under it. The fact that you want special legislation for women shows that feminism is not about equal opportunity, as the law should be blind and the same for everyone. Abortion is a huge topic by itself and has a lot of nuance, it depends on how a fetus is seen if a human or not. I remove abortion from my analysis because it is not a simple topic and it has a lot of special suppositio…

I agree with this however feminism IS measuring equality of opportunity with having the same experience. They say that women not being in power positions is proof by itself of discrimination, which it is not. Women may be discriminated more but the mere numbers of women in power are not proof of that. The same reasoning applies to men killing themselves more, is it because of discrimination? It may be but if it is, the mere numbers are not proof enough of that. My issue with feminism is that it …

I agree with a lot of what you’re saying but I have a question. What would be your view in a country where abortion is illegal in almost all scenarios (except rape and genetic illnesses)? I think then mandatory child support should be the norm because if the pregnancy occurred, then it is on both of the people who made it occur since there is no abortion available then the woman doesn’t have the final say if the child is born or not.

Even if it’s true that women below age 20 have higher chances of having issues with pregnancy (which I’ve never heard but fair enough), they will eventually be 20-25-30 etc. So the claim that if they cared about fertility they wouldn’t date women below 20 doesn’t make sense because they will, in a couple of years, become 25 and their fertility issues will end. A woman who is 30+ cannot get that fertility back. Even then I think this argument is quite stupid and although I agree that fertility pl…

I think it’s more of they get off seeing them despite them being sluts. It’s not like being one is adding any value. In fact in relationships being a slut is a net negative. And you can nut to something you don’t respect no definition says you don’t. ETA: take for instance Lana rhoades. Millions of dudes have nutted seeing her but she gets loads of shit in the internet because of what she says and what people describe as hypocritical behavior. A lot of people don’t respect her yet millions nutte…

I heard a phrase in a YT video (I know, bro science but still) that I think is accurate and applies here. It went something like “individuals are extraordinarily difficult to predict but populations are very easy to predict”

Men are much more visual than women, they like porn because the women are hot and having sex not because they’re sluts. Given the chance I would bet most would not date a porn star. There is a difference between relationships and porn.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/24 09:18 PM

Not exactly the same as women don’t love virgins. But tbh I think men don’t like sluts anyway

A gender disparity by itself is not a bad thing. The left keeps insisting that disparities are bad by I fail to see how? There’s disparities in loads of things murders, suicides, construction work, primary school teaching, alimony, child support. Does this mean there is discrimination? Not necessarily. A lot of the disparities that I listed (actually most) favour women and I do not think the system has it against men. The same that the few disparities that favour men don’t evidence that the syst…

Look it’s simple, everything a woman can do in the military can be done by a man, anything a man can do in a battlefield cannot be done by a woman. You keep on thinking about how biological differences don’t matter it’s ridiculous. You have the blinders on
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/24 01:37 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/24 04:39 PM

Biological differences (men have a wider spread in IQ than women, which means there are more men geniuses but also more men idiots) different incentives for reproduction (men like young women, women like powerful men thus men look for positions of power more than women), men are less risk averse than women (better risk takers), etc. there may be a lot of causes but coming to the conclusion that it is only because of discrimination is wrong. You’re using an observation to come up to a conclusion …

What advantage are they preventing? Women business owners get tax cuts men business owners don’t. Companies get benefits for hiring women that they don’t get if hiring men. Saying that there are still more men CEOs means nothing because the reason for that is not discrimination, as if any discrimination was present today it would be towards men, not women. And even then there are still more men CEOs which means discrimination was not the root of the “issue” in the first place.

Look up viogen law in Spain. It literally says that the woman’s (not man’s) word is enough to get a conviction of domestic violence only if the accused is a man. Even in lesbian relationships where one party accuses the other this law doesn’t apply, only if a woman accuses a man. This law came directly as a result of “ni una menos” which is the Spanish version of metoo

That case was very different: First: not criminal court but civil court so in any case he would be liable not guilty. Second: that trial was NOT Depp v Heard, it was Depp v The Sun. Winning a libel case against a news organization is extraordinarily difficult because the law protects news organizations’ free speech a lot more than individuals, especially in the UK. Third: Depp was the plaintiff in that case, not the defendant, so he would not be found liable anyway because he was the accuser not…

I mean if the OPs solution for “dangerous messages” is censorship
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/24 04:11 PM

“If you prefer women your own age” you’re basically saying that a preference a man can have for dating is not dangerous if you like it. Ridiculous

I would argue it’s much more dangerous to censor messages that you don’t like, even if true

What? Idk if this is a cultural collide thing but where in from people are always inviting each other (even if strangers) to eat what they cooked there may or may not be further intentions with these invitations but it happens all the time. It’s not simpy or anything to do that.

Oof man this brought a memory to me. I played a lot of sports in high school and a lot of my teammates were really extroverted and good socially and I simply was not. Fast forward a couple of years and I went to a BBQ with my ex teammates and a lot of high school girls were there. Two of them approached me separately through the evening and each one of them told me that they thought I hated them since I never spoke with them . I did not I was just shy. One of them told me she always found me sup…
