Agreed also Canadian, I don't think most people realize how much conservatism and leaning to the right can put your job, and your family's reputation at risk. During my time in University I didn't care about staying in University so I spoke my mind in my courses and there were academic punishments made based on liberal professor's opinions. I can write papers, I consistently got 90s and above in courses that didn't get so political, but those political courses I'd get 60s or below for being cons…

Tbh I don't either like I can't get off when I've got nerves about something and having him go down on me gives me all sorts of anxieties about if I smell, if I didn't save well enough, what if I have to fart, like for me that makes it lose its appeal a bit My last bf legit loved it but he was honest that he had never tried it before me and so that eased my nerves a bit I guess

No I'm not yet but for me personally I keep myself to a low to no porn standard (different times in my life it varies) but for him it seemed really unhealthy my most recent relationship that just ended on its own we were more interested in each other than porn 😂 with him it was very much the opposite he couldn't get off without doing increasingly fetish-y stuff which he never told or asked me about before hand. It was a rough time

Don't quote me but darkening of certain areas of the body in patches is a sign of diabetes usually this isn't darkening of the labia though

So true my ex use to make comments about how my breasts aren't even all the time (btw this isn't trying to be a brag at all but they are, and most of my guy friends unironically have told me I'm a 9 or a 10 so my ex's standards were ridiculously high and he was maybe a 2 or a 3 for both attitude and looks) he constantly would make comments about little things like that instead of being happy, low and behold he watched porn all the time and tried to make me guilty for not liking that

My hygiene routine; Twice daily; Brush teeth (probably should floss too but it doesn't always happen daily) Comb/style hair Wash & moisturize my face Once daily; Nightly shower Foot care (moisturize, care for ingrown toenails, get gunk out from under toenails) Hand care (moisturize mostly, my water is very mineral-y so it drys your skin a lot) Shave legs and underarms Feminine hygiene (usually just washing) Deodorant Remove makeup Every 2 days: Braid hair Wash hair Shave bikini area Weekly: Trim…

Yeah, I quietly wished I was a boy rather than full on dysphoria, one of my peers in highschool had delt with domestic abuse in her homelife, she clearly needed help and therapy but instead was told she was gender dysphoric and to transition by teachers who should have had her back, it was sad to watch

That's actually an awesome way of explaining it wow, Normally I'd look at bell curves overlapping but this is actually understandable 👏🏻

That second paragraph, so true! Kind of reminds me of 1984 with everybody being androgynous and uniform and Brave New World where sex becomes meaningless and exists just to quell an urge

So true especially the pockets part 😂. Yeah for me I had no real feminine role model so I found myself stumbling with the "girly stuff"

I love your comment I do think rpw is a very balanced mindset about feminity, I feel too like I'm way more ok with being feminine than I once was, I embrace it and allow it way more than I use to, i can't help but feel for all the girls going through what I detailed right now, I can also totally agree that I grew up with no balanced female role models, my mother was far from balance and I had no other women in my life. 🤗

God education is toxic ruins for children, a good friend of my father's use to say "don't let your child's education get in the way of your child's education" I get what that means now.

I went through school in that 2005-2018 timeframe I found that when girls hit 8-14ish the propaganda hit hard about equality and feminism that made me personally hate being a girl. I didn't really get to it in this post but YES! Boys experience the same thing in schooling, It was ok for me to get into fights in school, I'd usually get a slap on the wrist where a boy would usually get a suspension for the same level of aggression, I guess boys are told not to be boys and girls are told not to be …

Oh yeah this was me, my mother hated all other women, I adopted this trait of hers and I hated being a woman myself, I hated everything that had to do with being a woman, I can see why people get dysphoric from their gender because I hated the fact I was a woman. I joined a male dominated career, I cussed every second word, I'd join in a fist fight and it use to make me mad when my (male) friend would bluntly say (after I tried to fist fight with him) "you know butch women aren't attractive righ…

So finding a foundation for very pale skin can be tough, I usually just end up asking for help at the store because I usually mess it up, I can relate to my mother not caring about feminity, for her she didn't want me to look beautiful because she had to be the shining star of the family, I wasn't allowed to use makeup. Asking for help at the store is my biggest advice, I have thick eyebrows and I'm fine with shaping them on my own but there are brow bars in some makeup stores, I'd recommend goi…

God can I relate, at 19 I've had 2 female mentors I've discovered neither were my mother, otherwise I've had no female mentors before I this year, I've felt lost and isolated because I've had nobody to guide me, I met one of my mentors because she's my best friend's mother, the other was my pastor's wife

Thank you for your comment the world just feels wrong sometimes I feel the need to be agreeable because then I can at least share something with the people who comment back, I'm no feminist, never will be I disagree with 3rd wave feminism 100% and 2nd wave maybe 50-75% (1st wave is fine, nobody should argue that women aren't people) my brother is dead because of 2nd wave feminism and that upsets me deeply and makes me want to fight it with every ounce of my being

My goodness I love your comment you put this so much better than my original post some points I agree with, should women be forced to do one thing or another, of course not. Some women are not motherly, they shouldn't be forced into motherhood like in the 50s, some women are not meant for the workforce, should they be forced into the workforce, of course not. In University there is a sense of groupthink and "no other ideas will be tolerated" because "if we gave your ideas a chance we'd have to g…

I understand this, grew up in an abusive home same "walking on eggshells" feeling with my mother, now I take the blame for anything and everything I can, it's a coping method. Seeing things in black and white, Taking the blame, Filtering out the good and leaving the bad They are all traps people with unresolved anxieties can fall into I like to ask myself "what happened" "How did that make me feel" "What traps did I fall into" "Do I think differently now that I have recognized those traps"

For my family (part Finnish) self care with the whole family takes place in the sauna, the baby gets washed on the bottom floor, everyone has to stay quiet in the sauna, and typically mom is allowed to relax on the top bench, I'm not sure if that helps There is also no shame in putting on a movie, four kids must be hard ❤️. Sometimes a collective effort to bake cinnamon buns is also needed. Kiddo hugs go a long way, call a friend or relation. Just remembered however perfect people think mothers …

So for me I solved posture in 2 different ways. I had a few childhood injuries affecting my posture first off, those had to be fixed with the help of a physiotherapy and a chiropractor. When my neck and back got fixed then I had to build strength, I did pushups, planks, squats, sit ups, and pull ups to help build strength, be all rounded with workouts and remember for every ab workout do a back workout to balance it out For me the issue of confidence was more troublesome I actually wore a corset…

I love that description I'm gonna have to give it a read! I'm a gen z and from the outside I look like a confident women, feminists might even use me as the example of progress if they didn't look to deep. A lot of people don't know/understand what gen z and beyond grew up in, we have no memory of a time before 9/11, we didn't know a time when fear wasn't rampant in the culture. The girls of gen Z were told we were equal to boys, from day 1, we were told we could be anything a boy could be, and …

Don't fall for the cheap tricks of feminism, I'll start with appearance and work my way to more important issues. for example don't fall for having to be blonde, yes blondes look pretty but bleaching your hair will change its texture, it will make it coarse and it will fall out more, not to mentioned it makes it obvious that your trying to be someone your not. You don't have to have big breasts, yes on the right person they look beautiful and feminine but if you don't have the body for implants …

For me I really struggle to get off during PiV (when I can though it makes my week) for me it took relaxing big time, I couldn't get off because I was really nervous or distracted, like I'd get self conscious or think I was gonna fart, or get distracted and I couldn't get off at all, even if I'd try myself afterwards, giving up the back massager (desensitized me a lot) when I used it I could get myself off without it. Everything needs balance, everything comes in moderation, I can't get off with…

Thank you for your comment, perhaps I'm not as elegant at saying this but basically your comment is what I'm trying to say about affirmative action. I don't think there should be no women in the workforce or positions of power that would be absolutely wrong and backwards. Imagine how much music we'd have if the musicians through history included women equally skilled to Mozart, Beethoven, and Chopin. I just don't think it's right to anyone to put a man/woman/ethnic minority/sexual preference in …

Thanks for the comment, I understand people think I glamorize the 50s I don't, especially with the latest in the news, but I can't help but feel the patriarchy really doesn't exist anymore and that a toxic culture has been born from feminism, a toxic culture I feel stuck in the middle of. I can agree I don't feel like feminism is FOR women because I don't feel feminism likes the idea of a trad wife or a rp woman, I feel excluded from their ideology even if I am a woman.

Thank you for your comment, I'm sorry if my post came off wrong to you, I can agree with your first paragraph actually, just for me knowing that what happened to my brother broke me a bit. It kind of makes you feel a bit worthless when your brother is dead because your mother "didn't feel like it" like if I came into existence when it was inconvenient that would have been me. When it comes to my ma, I don't know if anything would have changed her abuse but I guess she was neglected by a woman who couldn't grow up in the 1960s, it is totally true that feminism allowed me to escape, I am thankful for that, I ended up at first in an abusive relationship then my job took me away from both of those relationships. I think I equate feminism with male vs female strength because that's what it's always been broken down as for me, probably too because my job is a very strength…

Thanks for the link, I'll check it out, I don't want to ignore the good that has come from 2nd wave feminism, I just feel a bit like because I grew up in 3rd wave feminism I've been forced into a box I don't want to be in I feel like there was a point where I realized I wasn't as strong as boys, maybe 11 or 12 and thats when the feminist message started to pop up in schooling and maybe I feel a little injusticed by that

I'm sorry if I made it seem like all those were black and white statements yes a lot of these things like fatherlessness and abortions were happening before the 1960s and I don't want to make the mistake of saying we need to go back to the 1950s. And to all women who having careers improved their lives I'm happy they have however it always feels like we've gone to one extreme or the other, either housewives are tearing at working women or working women are tearing at housewives. I definitely agree with most if not all of what your saying the 1950s definitely has its shortcomings and there's parts we definitely don't need in 2020 feminism has some positives but I can't help but feel we went from one extreme to the other with no balance

I understand where your coming from, an abusive home was the reason I learned to cook start with something dead simple like scrambled eggs, slow heat, and seasoning is the trick with them. Then learn how to boil them, Next fry them, then you can make an omelette, then poach them After scrambled eggs try something like minute rice with some soup broth for seasoning In my home I ate a lot of soup, I would buy 6lb of pork neck bones for $5 and throw them in a pot of boiling water for 8 hours, seaso…

So I did basic training for the military last year, we had guys join who were very overweight sometimes bordering on obese, those guys at the end if they stuck through it made their platoons so proud, we all couldn't have been happier for the guys who lost weight at basic. I learned a lot about health from being there 1. We eat 3 square meals, absolutely no snacking allowed those meals were often very balanced 2. We all got way over 10,000 steps a day 3. For me I had terrible posture after a few back injuries as a kid, at 17 I bought a very light corset to break the habit I wasn't confident so that kept me up straight, I started working on my core and arms when I joined the military and that helped me with with the lack of strength I do a lot of "military" exercises, pushups, planks, squats and chin ups mostly

When I was a young girl I dropped a cup and it broke against the floor, my mother was a narcissist, she screamed at me for an hour about how I don't care about her house and her stuff. Kudos to Areospace Engineering (also my field 🤗) I can say from experience it takes a lot longer for you to earn the trust of men in the workplace a lot of them have had terrible experiences with women, they've seen what happens to men who get too close to female co-workers and they are scared of female co-workers (thanks to feminism and metoo) it's a slow process to earn their respect and trust but by continuously not making advances and not reporting them for everything they do, they will star…

I've gone through both sides of this from trying wayyy to hard and not trying hard enough. I remember for me when I did my first year of University I made several observations about male vs female professors. Male professors would usually immediately do something to prove their dominance over the lecture hall, for instance yelling to silence the chatty class, this worked very well for them and I actually don't mind this teaching style for university, it makes you try to impress them, it makes you work hard. Female professors often tried to mimic this, but they always overdid it and ma…

I think this is what feminism has taught us all, at least you notice this, I do the same thing. I think because we are told to be men we embrace the "masculine spirit" of competition, which has its place but isn't always needed. A competitive streak in women can come off the wrong way, I think the solution is curiosity, asking all sorts of questions about how to do things asking for help. Just bite down on the pride is my best advice

For me making stuff goes way farther than simply buying it, I bake all my own bread, in Canada it costs $3-5 for a loaf of bread, plain white bread from scratch costs a fraction of that Eggs are very affordable too, I like to jazz up those chicken noodle soup packets by cracking and stirring an egg into them, makes it way more nutritious I make my own broth because meat is really expensive instead of paying $15-30 for a small amount of meat I buy 6lb of pork neck bones for $4-5 stew them for lik…
