I understand. The lack of choice means all you have are those types. All I can say is focus on you and don’t worry about finding them. It will happen. And in some cases it may not happen until you have the ability to move. Think about the long term play (getting closer to a city center) and start positioning now.

Both of you, again this is with a relationship that is good for you. I understand life is a bit jaded right now after going through a divorce but you can’t look at the very many couples who coexist peacefully and say “nope can never happen to me” A prenup is just a way to resolve some Bitterness, it won’t fix the problems in the relationship. That takes two. But if one doesn’t want to play, then at least you can exit without the headache

Nope. You really shouldn’t make assumptions. I have been in your place, brother. Do you have a therapist?

Just a matter of time till your death or serious injury. Don’t get a motorcycle especially if there is no one else and you have kids. Thats just asking to give the kids to your ex if anything happens (and it will)

Do you have a therapist? Have you explored why you are a magnet for the broken?

Renting is always cheaper but you don’t build any equity. Lots of my divorced social circle have gotten remarried and are living happy lives. I would be willing to try again but with a better interest rate (read: prenup)

Bro. That has nothing to do with age and entirely to do with broken homes. Look at the common denominator in your dating profile: daddy issues. Except the 19 yo that sounds normal for the age. I would wrap that one up for keeps if the only issue is the boyfriend

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
