In my experience, I never had that "what are we?" talk. It just happens naturally. Actions speak louder than words do.

It is good to note those principles that he mentioned, and it's just a matter of observing if it works in the actual playing field (through personal testing and not just hypothesizing). But I do think there's a danger of confirmation bias if it is not taken with a grain of salt. After all, there is a human tendency to see the world through glasses tinted by a cherished personal manifesto, especially if the manifesto appears to be elegant. Thanks for sharing this, brother.

Thank you brother. I will look into it!

Thank you for your suggestion, though I got to admit that I'm inclined towards something more universal rather than US/Western-centric (like the sheer magnitude of the RP community and the pervasive experientially-earned principles you can learn from it.)

This one's really interesting. Finished reading all of it, and this is along the lines of what I am looking for. The only caveat being that he primarily uses examples from fiction rather than real life, because no matter how clever a story writer is, the craft only expresses a simulation of reality based on the writer's worldview. I believe that has been mentioned somewhere in the RP sidebar.

Your dad is a strict "mf" indeed. What the people are saying here is true. In the end, social media doesn't really matter. Rule of the Internet: If it's free, YOU are the product. But if you're really curious or adamant about it, stop using your dad as an excuse and just find your own ways. Also remember, social media is the domain of the feminine.

True. Not quite what I am looking for, but thanks for answering.

I concur. Empathy is a useful ability that a masculine man can have, a leader cannot effectively command people without it. It's sympathy that needs to be kept in check.

Who the F cares? If she leaves him, then fine. There are plenty others out there. I don't think OP will get himself manipulated. To OP, just try not to get jaded with life if you ever enter the "nihilistic phase". Keep with your frame. It's the most important thing.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
